A mace was used by the Islams agains the crusaders in 1190 AD

The crusaders had a thick mail that swords couldnt penatrate.

They used maces or flails because it shattered the mail and also killing the crusaders.

Islams also had a better bow and arrow firing position.

Crusaders used 3-finger hold, while the islams used the thumb, it was slower but penetrated better then the crusaders

But the Trebuchet was best until the mongols invented gunpowder, which led to cannon's and guns.

2nd best weopon, would be halberds, they were strong enough to kill calvalry and good for 1-2 metre combat.

3rd best would have to be the long swords invented by the french, basiclly the Hospitaller Knights used these to deal with calvary and sheilded opponents,

Horses were another weopon, strapped with a long horn and thick chest armor, they could get passed some pikes and spearmen.

Ballistas were great to deal with slow moving calvary and sheilded opponents.

Hot oil was great to stop rams from breaking down gates.

So you cant really say the sword was the best because they can easily get broken down by spearmen, calvary, and archers.

Yeah, but there is no religion that I know about at least invented in the medieval times. All religions are either ancient or invented in the 21st century by new age and neo-pagan idiots.

Yeah, but there is no religion that I know about at least invented in the medieval times. All religions are either ancient or invented in the 21st century by new age and neo-pagan idiots.

 

Luciferianism was "invented" during medieval times.
