Tronta
two things.first:/puts dick and foot in daboss's mouth.what the funk.why is it perfect in burn? what does this card do in burn that it cant elsewhere?are burn decks attacked differently? does it do more /because/ it inflicts burn?fuckin retarded statement. and no one has been able to defend it to me yet. i still dont get it. second:i read zen's post before i read who was saying it. my first thought was "shut up zen". then i looked at who posted it. it made me smile and cry at the same time. morfowt
does it do more /because/ it inflicts burn?in a way, it does. most, if not all burn decks will have a dark room of nightmare, so in a way magic cylinder would deal 300 more damage... I wouldn't say magic cylinder is perfect in burn, but it is pretty good because it negates attack and deals burn which are 2 things you need to do in a burn deck. GOOD burn decks don't run Dark Room of Nightmare.2. Magic Cylinder is a waste of space. You want other, more essential cards in a burn deck.3. Magic Cylinder should only be put into a burn deck if you make the deck and realize you're short on cards so that you need filler. Then again, most staples/splashables would do the job better.4. Burn decks don't need to stop attacks. Or at least most I see don't need to. They normally when on 2nd or 3 turn due to their draw power and deck searching or because they're FTK/OTK decks. Tronta
also wrong because:300 more damage is stupid. like, seriously. good burn decks, funk even stall burn decks dont run dark room. theres no time for small change. burns have to be funking big. anything smaller than 1000 is a waste of space, unless theyre going for a volcanic slicer-solar flare sort of thing. even then, meh. thats like saying paying 1k for judgment or 2k for demise is a cost. its a joke. who gives a sheet. small bits of lifepoints are meaningless. furthermore, its infliction of damage, regardless of what type of damage, can be found in almost every deck. oh cylinder works by helping to reduce your opponents lifepoints to 0! it must be usable in my [insert any deck type] deck! also, most decks include roars, wabokus, something to block that illfated direct attack. its the same argument. obviously cylinder doesnt belong in say, an exodia deck. but that doesnt make it only selectively useful in burn when burn and beatdown really have the same goal. Expelsword
If you want Dark Paladin' date=' just get Duelist Pack: Yugi. Here’s a sample Dark Paladin deck if you want something to go by: 193x Dark Magician3x Buster Blader2x Skilled Dark Magician2x Elemental Hero Prisma2x Breaker the Magical Warrior2x King of the Swamp2x The Dark – Hex Sealed Fusion1x Sangan1x Crystal Seer1x Old Vindictive Magician 153x Polymerization2x Allure of Darkness2x Emblem of Dragon Destroyer1x Heavy Storm1x Mystical Space Typhoon1x Giant Trunade1x Future Fusion1x Fusion Recovery2x Book of Moon1x Pot of Avarice 61x Call of the Haunted1x Mirror Force2x Bottomless Trap Hole2x Threatening Roar 33x Dark Paladin[/quote'] Wow, that does look like a good deck, and with so few cards too! (though to be honest I'd probably add Soul Exchange, Swords of Revealing Light and United We Stand, because they are SO useful) The problem is most of the cards are certainly rare, I haven't even heard of a few of themAlthough I guess I could find a card shop somewhere, I don't know if I really could afford spending crazy money on childeren's card games(Unless most of those cards really DO come in one pack...)Thanks nonetheless! Don't add Soul Exchange. It's only decent in Monarch Decks. In all other decks, it's generally useless. Brain Control is so much better. United We Stand has no real place here, and only add Swords of RL if you need to fill up space. That being said, the only thing you should have difficulty in getting is Prisma. Dark Paladin, Mirror Force, Emblem, Buster Blader, Dark Magician, and Polymerization all come in Duelist Pack: Yugi. Possibly Skilled Dark Magician as well. Everything else should be fairly easy to trade for. If you can't trade for them, then you should be able to buy them online very cheeply. It shouldn't be much of a problem to get the cards for this. Expelsword
The only thing about buying cards and stuff online, don't people frequently get the wrong card/a card in bad condition or something? 'cause that's what I've heardin any case I'll keep my eye out for Duelist Pack:Yugi s

If you go to places like trollandtoad.com, they have good prices, mint condition, ship on time, etc. Also, many cards of jabber's list are in that Spellcaster Structure Deck, I forget which. The rest have also been printed in common at lest once (minus those listed below), or are in DPYG. It should be overwhelmingly EASY to find everything. xD I'd be willing to bet that the deck would cost less than $50, minus Prisma, Allure and Mirror Force (both of which shouldn't be in here because you're new to decent decks and shouldn't spend so much money on your first). Yep. And he finally caved after 4 pages of pointlessness and then someone pointing out that his Stardust already destroys stuff. And he was all like "FUUUUUUUUUUUUU--- A major card in my Scrap-Iron Lock destroys so I guess I'll allow destroying cards." or some shiz like that. Sephiroth_The_Legend
jabbers build is good but i would suggest a few fixes..-1x Fusion Recovery-1x Old Vindictive+1x Stratos+1x Reinforcement of the Army-1x Crystal Seer+1x E-Emergency Call to get prisma to hand quicker for the faster summon.... more than often, you will summon Dark Paladin through the use of Prisma i would also-1 Buster Blader (3 isnt really necessary)+1 Prisma adds a little speed to the deck too.but thats me.
