Obviously, Chargers are monsters that gain effects when you activate "Charge". I know what you're thinking, ("These are just rip-offs of Koa'ki Meirus combined with Geminis"). Ohwell, you are right.

 

And yes, they will all be Thunder.

Once per turn, you can remove from play 1 Quick-Play Spell card from your Graveyard to have this card gain 500 ATK or have this card lose 500 ATK to take any removed from play Quick-Play Spell Card and put it into your hand.

 

 

 

Please, don't say that "Charge" is too bland, because THAT'S THE POINT.

First card, even if it's the main theme of the set, is boring...

 

and quite op'ed...

no cost, draw 1. thats almost as bad as pot of greed....

second is better as a normal monster....it's effect is pointless.. unless it only does minimal damage which becomes 1200. but the effect itself isnt too creative.

the third isnt too bad, abusable with some cards. i.e Guard Penalty.

but yeah, this is pretty much a rip off of Geminis and even then..

 

sorry to say but Geminis > These.

If Draw 1 card would be overpowered, Jar of Greed would be banned. But it isn't. And as I said before, the first card is destined to have a short effect. It's merely a tool for the other cards to act.

 

And my first monster's effect is very useful, even somewhat OP-ed, as you are likely to always deal less than 1200 Battle Damage.

but you've forgotten. Jar of Greed is a trap.

This is a quickplay

 

Trap =/= Quickplay,

 

There's a huge difference. If Jar of Greed was a spell, i would main 3, no questions.

the second card is hardly op'ed because he is too slow for the meta.

he's got a decent attack base and all but most decks main 2x BTH, 1x Torrential, Mirror Force, Vortex etc. etc. etc. there's too much destruction around to warrant him being useful. i would rather crack PSZ out and Sync for Goyo.

A much shorter activation and less cost than Gemini. This is a great effect because with a single "Charger" activation you gain a different type of monster with an effect.

 

Good Example:

While this card is face-up on the field, you can activate "Charge" to have it be treated as a Synchro Monster with this effect:

- During your Main Phase 2, you can Special Summon 1 Level 4 or less Tuner Monster from your opponent's Graveyard.

 

9/10 for the Original Effect. ;)
