Guest JoshIcy
Ive talked about this with Yin and the like already. Recolors are not a show of artistic anything. All it is, is a basic use of the eraser and dropper tool. From now on threads based on Recoloring a sprite will NOT be allowed. This however does not stop you from posting Retypes and other sprites that would require a recolor of some sort, this does include flame and toxic sprite as they do require some spriting. Showing us that you can use a programs basic functions properly does not constitute a thread and the like of its own. Apologies. But they have been "outlawed", and any existing thread will receive a 3 day period to show some progress outside what they already have.
Brushfire
Eh, fair enough. Going to get onto cleaning up the idiots instead of mediocre stuff like this yet, though?

Going to get onto cleaning up the idiots instead of mediocre stuff like this yet, though?[/quote'] Eeeh... I felt this was far more urgent. Fanboys can be shoved to the side. However threads that dedicate themselves to stuff like this, can not. I'll get around to it though, one section and one problem at a time.
Brushfire
Fair enough. I'm thinking you should've made this an announcement, though. This section has way too many Stickies as it is.

Brushfire
I honestly think it looks more tidy than it being grouped with all the other Stickies of this section.
Ģค๓blє
So I guess that means my Toxic Recolors from way back when are okay to be revived? *hopes that they were the inspiration for the exception.* I actually love this... Most of the recolors here are crap now.

chairman ali
Well wouldn't it still be pixel/sprite "recolouring"? Because you're just copying the original artwork and changing it's colours.
Smear
Really? No more recolours? That sucks ass. :l I'd just gotten to make a quite big recolour thread. So, I have to do more stuff than just recolour?F*ck that. I suck ass at scratching. Can't existing recolour threads just keep recolouring untill they die? Cause I really thought my thread was goin' somewhere.

Brushfire
Not all of us are good at that and why not make a sub forum for splicing or recolors Yeah, lets add a sub-forum for all forms of mediocre-ness. If you're not at least decent, then get better or don't post here. If you aren't willing to learn, then what's the point in you posting here? It's just a learning tool. I actually scratch all my splices, to give it more of a natural feel. I'd expect others to be able to do this at least on some level -_-...
