Valentines's Day is a corp. Holiday.

Has no real meaning' date=' anyone can say 'I love you' on any day really, so why is there a special day? So companies can sell overpriced little heart shaped and pink merchandise.

Valentine's Day is meh

Y'all so bitter. It's nice to have an excuse to spend monies on that special someone.

Point being, you shouldn't need an excuse. It's hardly special if you go out with your boy/girlfriend on that day because you're supposed to and everybody's doing it.

It's basically advertising "Show your love spontaneously today! =D", and that kinda defeats the purpose. Not everyone who finds V-Day useless is single, they might just have a head on their shoulders.

Sorry my boyfriend isn't uber rich and can afford to take me on fancy dinner dates every night...hell, sorry I don't have the time to go on fancy dinner dates every night.

V-day is only useless if you're a bitter cynic/terribly alone. I'll enjoy my Valentine's day all the same, thanks.

You humans are so strange and weird.

You need a Holiday as an excuse to give candies and flowers to your lover.

You could give her/him a lovely bouquet of flowers every Friday with each bouquet being different to show your affection.

Valentine's Day is really for the small ones (the kids) nowadays as it does teach them a bit about courtship (giving candies, flowers, stuffed animals, and other things to show you do care).

Although it is still for older folks, the romantic parts of it are fleeting.

Sounds interesting but the bolded just completely killed it, your being racist to your own species. Valentines day is like a Honeymoon or Aniversary to teenagers. Did you ever look at this rather than looking on the bad side of it, your attempt to grab attention to yourself is horrible.

Lol Uber Nerd.
