Don't really like the name of "Synchro Killer" it just sounds cheap to me.

 

Any ideas? I don't have any.

 

And Griffon, for "Ancient Fairy", it was mainly the problem of gaining 1000 LP and "Ancient Gear Gadjiltron Dragon", then adding a second "Geartown" to your hand to restart the process.

Read my full post. If you add another Geartown, you miss timing and can't Summon Gadjitron Dragon. It's no more effective than MST or something for that.

I'm going to rip apart your wonderful, but stupid points on why each of the Synchro monsters you mentioned are broken. Take notes, kid.

 

 

Red Dragon Archfiend: A 3000 ATK that can wipe out any defense/stall Deck...in one turn!

It's crap. People would rather use Colossal Fighter, who also is not broken. The only reason Red Dragon Archfiend would be summoned is to POSSIBLY take down a Spirit Reaper or Marshmallon, but there are far easier ways to remove those from the picture. The only OTHER reason is when a really bad player thinks it has a good Assault Mode card and tries to summon it, only to find out that his deck sucks and he sucks.

 

Ally of Justice Catastor: Destroys any non-DARK monster instantly. With "DNA Transplant" can become utterly unstoppable.

No one would use that combo. That does work, but it's stupid. Running a trap card in any number ONLY to use with a Synchro monster you might not even get to summon the entire duel is wasting card space and your time/effort. Why is it not broken? Oh yeah, DARK monsters punching it's teeth out. It's only CLOSE to overpowered against Lightsworn. And even then, not close enough. Utterly unstoppable? No. If you were a good player, you wouldn't say that.

 

Stardust Dragon: Can negate any card destruction and you get it back at the end of the turn. (Also can be Summon with "Starlight Road" which negates things like "Heavy Storm" and "Torrential Tribute" which you don't get back at the end of the turn.)

Solution: destroy it by battle or with effects that don't say "destroy". Stardust Dragon is pretty good, but anyone good can take one down.

 

Ancient Fairy Dragon: 3000 DEF on a Level 7? And an effect which can destroy an opponent's Field Spell while giving you Life Points? Hardly balanced.

I can't believe you mentioned this. There's a reason the ghost rare is $7. Because it's trash. 3000 DEF on a LV7? OMFG! That's a TERRIBLE argument. Remember Millennium Shield? Oh crap, he's got an even lower level and can be summoned way easier! Someone call the feds! It can freely pop your opponent's Field Spell Card, true. And how many tier 1 decks use Field Spell Cards? None. So how useful is this effect to good players? Not at all. It's not only balanced, it's a complete waste of paper and the other legendary dragons all laugh at it for being handicapped. Even Power Tool Dragon picks on Ancient Fairy Dragon.

 

 

Nitro Warrior: 3800 ATK during the Damage Step? And can switch a Defense monster to Attack Position? Again, not at all balanced.

Mentioning this PROVES you're just a terrible player. You're killin' me, here. First of all, he requires a terrible Tuner, Nitro Synchron. You can get around that with Quickdraw Synchron if you suck enough. I'm not sure why you didn't mention that as a point for why it's so ungodly broken. I guess that's just another piece of evidence that you don't know what you're talking about. It has some decent effects and stats, I'll give it that. But that's all I can say about it. It's decent. I won't say it's ENTIRELY toilet paper, but it's certainly not worth a damn from me, either. Just give it to some 8-year-old and make him trade his JD to you for it.

2 things Jazin Kay.

 

1 - running Catastor with Dna transplant isn't stupid, it's an intelligent combo. He never said that he would ONLY use those two cards together. All the Allies are anti-light, so by running them together with Dna transplant and Scroll of bewitchment, you could have a decent deck.

 

2 - there are ways of voicing your opinions with out sounding elitist, snobby, arrogant and rude. I just provided one such example. The point of these forums is to provide constructive criticism that will help people become better card makers/duelists, not to tear someone down just because they have an opinion that differs from yours.

Synchro Blocker: Good, don't see anything wrong with it

Synchro Destroyer LV4: Same as above ^

Synchro Crusher: A bit OP

Synchro Destroyer LV6: Same as Synchro Destroyer LV4

Synchro Killer: Same as above ^

Synchro Destroyer LV8: Same as above ^

Synchro Destroyer LV10: Only 2 things seem OP to me: the second to last effect and how it destroys/cancels out every Synchro Monster in the game

@Max: Great cards, amazinf effects and awesome pics:) the idea is great. i love use Synchro in battle, becuase its effects are very destructives, but if i battle with a opponent that has a lot of synchro and summon 2 or 3 in a couple of turns, i wish to use this card to kick his a$s and win:) i want to see more:) 9.7/10

@JK:i aggred with your point too. that stardust dragon is unstoppable? wrong, i kill it a lot of times with BW-Gale and its amazing effect of cut the opponent monster ATK to half jajajajaja i destroy it with a simple Tuner jajajaja.

According to your and your claims, something is stupid just because it hasn't been tried. Try telling that to Nicola Tesla, Tomas Edison, Newton, or any of the world's other great minds. Just because you don't have the guts, skill, and talent to try something, doesn't mean it can't be done.

While your points are overall valid, Jazin, Icy wants us to balance cards according to well-built tier 3/2 Decks (about Frogs/Batterymen) - playable but not broken enough that Konami has a good chance of hitting them on the next list, unlike Tier 1, which can generally be called quite OP'd themselves.

 

But again, Jazin's points are largely valid as many cards and the overall speed and style of the format are much the same - too aggressive for RDA, too destructive for Cata, not beatstick-friendly enough for Nitro and a lot of played Field Spells protect themselves or trigger when destroyed (Morph Map, Geartown, Endymion, Ancient Ruins for gods' sakes)
