Bull3tM0nk3y
There been some rumors that Tribe-Infecting Virus MAY get out of the banlist. What do you think about it? Discard 1 card from your hand and declare 1 Type of monster. Destroy all face-up monsters of the declared Type on the field.
Jericho
Never. Its just ridiculous. It kills BWs and any chance Hopeless ever has at becoming anywhere near tier 1.
Guest PikaPerson01
It turns every single card in your hand into Smashing Ground at minimum, and goes as far as becoming a Raigeki against most theme decks. Bannable by almost any standard.
Great Unclean One: VK
It's not coming off, though it may never attain the same level of brokeness as Yata and CED. Broken and Banned card should stay Banned.
White Void
Puts things that you want to be in the graveyard in the graveyard while generating advantage at the same time...it's even better these days than it was when it was first released. The only thing stopping it from being totally ridiculous is that it's unsearchable these days. Needs to never come back, ever.
BulletMan
This card is just a specific Lightning Vortex on legs that can also affect your field as well, if you let it be that way. It's not that broken, really. It's not very searchable either, and at least it helps get rid of BW/Hopeless. >_____>
Dark_Armed_Zombie
So, it's a LV with legs, that can hurt you, but does much less vs. non-type specific decks *coughLScough* ... scary?
metalflygon08
what kind of erata could they make to lessen this card's power? like once per turn?
Dark_Armed_Zombie
what kind of erata could they make to lessen this card's power? like once per turn? I'd only do this to reduce the spam of it in decks that like things in the grave, but it's still not that OP.
Guest PikaPerson01
This card is just a specific Lightning Vortex on legs that can also affect your field as well' date=' if you let it be that way.[/quote'] Lightning Vortex: -2 (The card you spent as the cost and Lightning Vortex)TIV: -1 (The card you spent as a cost for it's effect) It's the difference between why Breaker is bannable and MST is not. Secondly "lol, Raigeki and Black Hole helps to get rid of BW/Hopeless!" They are not as restrictive as TIV. They get rid of everything for low cost. This has a low cost, but you could so much easily run LV than this, though I would run TIV over LV since it punishes Decks that are of a specific Type, which are the powerful ones at the moment (saying if LS got hit hard on the up coming list) So yeah. Guest PikaPerson01
and yet Breaker is at 3 while MST is at 1... I hope you're not insisting that Konami is the end all' date=' be all on what it and is not bannable. This is the same company that thinks Judgment Dragon and Foolish Burial are both on the same field in terms of brokeness. They are not as restrictive as TIV. They get rid of everything for low cost. This has a low cost, but you could so much easily run LV than this, I don't understand your logic here. "You could so much easily run LV than this". Did it somehow become difficult to normal summon Level 4 Aqua types? Secondly, the list of cards was in response to the "searchable" remark. though I would run TIV over LV since it punishes Decks that are of a specific Type' date=' which are the powerful ones at the moment (saying if LS got hit hard on the up coming list)[/b'] TIV just makes all cards in hand a Smashing Ground against decks with varying types. It's not comparable to LV.

It's not comparable to LV. Konami has poor logic. TIV should be banned on a good list, but konami isn't giving up their money making cards yet. But the reason they may limit this might be for some absurd reason. IDK what. By their logic, to counter BW/Hopeless. But TIV I've already said isn't that broken. It's a LV on legs that can hit multiple times for a bigger cost that isn't very searchable and we have Stardust now...
morfowt
Interestingly, this card would not be very broken at all earlier in the game when it was possible to make a competitive deck without choosing just 1 theme...

.Gideon.
Its an AQUA, WATER, with 1600 ATK, unsearchable by any means, can't be abused by revival cards such as Limit rev & Graceful revival, .. its effect may not destroy ALL your opponent's monsters, it also may affect your own monsters, not to mention it's a -1 and could be more LV can do Tribe's job perfectly, and it is on 3so .. personally I don't see this card broken at all,

RyanAtlus
Let it go to 1 and then we'll see its impact.By having this banned and JD at 1, Konami implies that TIV is more broken than JD.
Ensenada
This logic implies that Lightning Vortex should also be banned and should never return.
Umbra
it also may affect your own monsters' date=' [/quote'] This implies that you're stupid enough to activate TIV's effect while you would be hurt more by it than your opponent. You might as well declare Aqua.
Mehmani
Itteh bitteh tribe infectin kitteh is in the background of the pic. It's better than Lightning Vortex, easily. If it was unbanned, it would reshape the Meta entirely.

You can activate this card as many times per turn you want. Player 1: I have a face up JD, Lyla, Celestia, and DAD.Player 2: I summon TIV! I Activate effect 3 times declaring Dragons, Fairies, and Spellcasters!Player 1: FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU So somebody remind me ANY reason why this isn't broken.
