Am I an idiot giving away a ghost rare to my cousin?

As i'm sure some of you have read on my latest topic, I made a Plant deck for my Cousin and gave it to her. One of the cards I gave away was my Ghost Rare "Black Rose Dragon."

 

Does that make me an idiot to give away something as valuable as that, even though she's only 12 years old and she liked the card more than anything else? Or does it make me a generous person?

Well, she keeps the card in a Sleeve, and puts it in a Deck Box when she's done, so I'm sure she'll keep it in pretty good condition.

Well, she keeps the card in a Sleeve, and puts it in a Deck Box when she's done, so I'm sure she'll keep it in pretty good condition.

Yeah, you're right, it does the same thing! Wow, never noticed that!

 

I should now try to sell my Tin Black Rose Dragon on Ebay for $20 since it's exactly the same as a Ghost Black Rose

If she likes the card alot, she will treasure it. I was given a long time ago a super rare poly, back then i didn't know anyone who had poly and when i was talking to someone, one of my older friends gave me a super rare poly, i have kept it to this day and i treasure it loads only because it makes me happy that i got a card i really liked. Giving someone like a new player the card they really want makes them happy, so no, your not an idiot, you actally show that your a nice player who really doesn't care about rarity and makes other players happy. Still, my ultimate black rose dragon pwns you all :].

I don't think your an idiot, It may b e arare, card, but it is just a piece of cardboard/paper with words and a picture. People are more important that that.

 

I'm not saying your automatically a jerk if you don't give away cards, I'm saying those who do aren't stupid, just really generous. maybe that's somthing we need more in this world.
