Kai smiled cheerfully at Tommy. "So you caught up. I'm Kai, a pleasure to meet you," she said, shaking his hand without waiting for an invitation. She then promptly stepped inside the waiting elevator, half-dragging him inside as well. Her eyes flicked over the row of floor buttons until she caught sight of the one she was looking for, the one that led to the garage where a car presumably would be waiting.

"Descend seven floors," the GPS reminded her. Kai hid a smile as the elevator descended. "And your name?" she asked, lightly bouncing on her heels playfully.

Tommy had followed Kai into the elevator, which was playing the cliche elevator music, when Kai had asked Tommy his name. "Well, my name is Thomas, but i HATE it, so I would appreciate it if you would just refer to me as Tommy. I mean big boss man and his secretary still call me Thomas and what not, but of course I'm not gonna bark at bossio for calling me Thomas. Never bite the hand that feeds you I always say."

Tommy had started whistling along with the elevator music, not knowing he had started doing so. "So..." Tommy said awkwardly trying to think of a conversation starter. "Uhm...what kind of deck do you use?" Tommy asked seeing as this was used as a common icebreaker back at the Tops.

Kai nodded. "Tommy it is, then," she agreed. Like her partner, she had been humming to the music quietly, tapping her foot lightly on the floor. She looked over when he asked about her deck and giggled. "Me? I run Infernity," she answered, looking ahead when the elevator dinged, signaling their arrival.

The doors slid open, revealing what seemed to be the interior of a parking garage. Several vehicles were lined against the walls, the concrete floor glistening in the dim orange light of several lamps lit across the walls. Kai walked forward, looking around critically for several moments. "Look for a green car, license plate 312-PEF," she told Tommy, tapping her chin as she examined the line of cars. That was the only car she had a key to, after all.

Sazuka spun around, two yliaster grunts walked through the door as if it was their god given right to be here. Only top ranked members were aloud to be here. And these weren't top players in this game of life and death. Their presence was all it took to push Sazuka over the edge. She was impaicent, irritable, and ready to do something. Without a single word she walked up to them, drew a knife and slit their throats.

Blood sprayed everywhere ruining the carpet and much of the upalstry. As they fell to the floor dead as dirt Sazuka hissed,"You don't belong here!"

Tommy looked around for a green car, but unfortunately, he did not come across it. Tommy was no good at looking for things, but he needed to find that car. He felt as if he was missing out on something good. He finally spotted a lime green car, but had no idea if this was Kai's or not.

"Hey, is that your car?" he asked pointing to the lime green car in a corner. He was raring to go. Something exciting had just happened for sure. 'Please be her car, please be her car!' Tommy thought to himself as he waited for her reply.

Kai giggled. "Check the license plate," she said, walking over to the car he was pointing at and grinned. "Yup, good eye!" she said, walking to the driver's side and unlocking the doors. "We dont want to be late..." she looked at her watch. "...er", she finished sheepishly. They weren't LATE, per se, but they were behind schedule in her book, which she blamed on the fact she had to wait a bit for him to catch up, but that didn't matter too much. Bending a few traffic laws could make everything better.

Tommy plopped himself in the passenger's seat, and buckled up. As adrenaline crazy Tommy was, he still put his life above all. He pulled his duel disk off of his wrist and placed it onto his lap, and flexed his wrist a bit. Tommy usually didn't care about what time he arrived at a place, but being involved with something as powerful as the Dark Signers, he couldn't wait to get there.

"So where is that crazy thing taking us anyway? Are we meeting up with the Dark Signers in some sewer, or abandoned building, or something along those lines." Tommy personally hoped they weren't going somewhere filthy, as his allergies would act up, and no Dark Signer would take someone seriously if they were blowing their nose and sneezing.

"I dunno," Kai said cheerfully, buckling up and starting the car, carefully backing out of the parking space and driving towards the parking garage doors. She slid an ID badge at the gate and the security bars slid back, one by one, until the way was clear.

Turn left and drive, 200 yards." Kai obliged by pressing the pedal down a bit, gradually accelerating and weaving between the few cars that had chosen to be positioned between her and her destination.

Weave right...now weave left...warning, please abide traffic laws for accurate directions."

Kai sighed and slowed down, reluctantly driving at a safer speed and weaving...the same amount as before, just slower. GPS systems were such spoilersports. What happened to the systems that said "Would you like to take a shortcut? Turn right across that corn field."?

The little girl lifted her head just a little as the woman effortlessly just killed two people. If anyone had taken the time to understand her, then they'd probably conclude she was fascinated by the bleeding corpses, but no-one had taken that time. No-one had ever tried to understand her, not even her parents. They had paid for their mistake, but the girl felt no real ill towards the rest of the world, and between then and now she'd just drifted aimlessly, homeless and alone, but not caring, until some people showed up and brought her to some house with other children. There, the other children and even the staff seemed afraid of her, and simply left her alone, until the people came back and collected her that morning. They brought her to this room, along with the annoyed woman who had just committed two murders.

Sazuka had a talent for keeping blood off of her and it had never been truer than this nistant. not a single drop of it was on her jacket, shirt, or pants. she noticed the little girl staring and for a fraction of an instant she felt some remorse,"Is that the first time you've seen someone killed other than yourself?"

If anyone glanced at the scene without paying much attention - even without paying attention to the two dead bodies on the floor - they would probably assume that Mitsuko hadn't responded, and may well have doubted if she even heard the woman. However someone paying closer attention would notice two tiny clues that revealed everything. The first was that the girl blinked when spoken to, almost as if she wasn't expecting it. The second was the answer to the question. Mitsuko's head moved slightly, no more than an inch, to the left, then to the right, left, right, and back to the centre.

"I see, well I supose death is something your going to have to get used to. If Yliaster gets its way a lot of people are going to die. But if I get my way they'll all die!" she turned and sat in a couch that was still clean. something aboutdeath put her at ease. "Hope those losers from Yliaster get here soon," she said an edge coming into her vioce.

"I hope we get there soon. I would hate to keep those Dark Signers waiting. I hear they can be quite aggressive." said Tommy they drove along.

He looked down at he looked down at his duel, wondering if he would need it. 'Probably not' Tommy thought to himself. Yliaster and the Dark Signers were on good terms, at least currently they were.

Kai smiled, seemingly unworried about the possibly reprocussions of being too late. "Turn Left"

"You're the boss," she chirped to the device, making a quick turn and nearly cutting off another car. She giggled and waved when the indignant driver beeped the car horn. She weaved between two lanes, realizing she was close to a head-on collison with a Duel Runner, but the close call only amused her. She wasn't very fond of Duel Runners. Sure, she found Turbo Dueling to be interesting and the extremely rare times she engaged in a Riding Duel herself were thrilling, but she felt they encouraged reckless driving, having a small vehicle easily capable of 200 MPH going around the city.

"You have arrived. Exit vehicle and go left."

"Whoo hoo!" Kai practically squealed, already out of the car before the device had finished speaking. She clicked the automatic lock on her car keys, so that when Tommy closed his door, the doors would lock. She double checked the GPS system's mapping system to confirm she was at the correct building- she was, if the red dot was anything to go by.

"Looks like a nice place!" she called over to Tommy.

Tommy received quite a thrill when they almost collided with a duel runner. Tommy smiled a sadistic smile at the thought of the rider getting what he deserved. "He he, that was a close one." he said in a not so worried way.

They finally arrived at the place they were to meet the Dark Signers. Tommy picked up his duel disk of his lap and placed it back on his arm. He exited the car and closed the door behind himself and brushed himself off, not wanting any unpleasant, unwanted pieces of offal on his clothes.

"Lets do this!" Tommy started walking towards the building before he had heard a reply from his companion. He was excited to meet the oh-so-powerful Dark Signers, who possessed Creatures that would make Exodia quake in his boots, and could go toe to toe with one of the Egyptian God Cards.

Kai nodded, knocking on the door briefly before entering, delighted to find that the door was unlocked. She walked inside, humming to herself. Under her arm, she carried her Duel Disk. She probably didn't actually need it for a while, but she didn't know when they'd be heading back to the headquarters, so she may as well take it with her.

They appeared to be in some sort of apartment room, but no one was instantly in sight. "Hello?" Kai called brightly, walking down a small hallway and turning a corner. She looked around, her amber eyes shining with childish curiosity at almost everything she saw.

She tapped her chin and walked towards a room where light was coming from. "I think someone's in that room," she told Tommy, pointing.

"HELLO!?" Tommy yelled in the house. He was looking inside the building, until he noticed that Kai was pointing at some door. "Hmm, maybe..."

Tommy walked towards the door then put up his fist to the door and hesitated somewhat, then knocked on the door. "Umm...anyone home?" Tommy knocked again, and stood back from the door back besides Kai. "I hope you're right, and there really is someone in there. Then the other question is what exactly are we meeting them here for?"

Tommy stared at the door impatiently, waiting to meet his new "business partners." Whatever big boss man was planning, well it was going to be good.

Ross had been following the two Yliasters in his Duel Runner, and almost collided with another duel runner that had swerved to avoid the Yliaster car. Now he walked in the door behind the Yliaster members. "Ah. Welcome you two. Come to see us Dark Signers I suppose?"

Kai spun on her heel upon hearing a voice and her eyes brightened. "Hello!" she said. "I'm Kai," she continued, extending a hand politely. She gave him a quick lookover, taking note that the young man was probably a young teen and several inches shorter than her, yet had intriguing green eyes.

"And yes, you could say that's why we're here," she said, looking around. "Are you the only one here or are there others?"

Ross shook her hand. "Oh no, there are two more in here." He guestered at the door they had been looking at. "Come in."

Ross punched in a 6-digit code and opened the door. They all walked in. "Watch the bodies of your foolish friends. They should have knocked."

Ross was undisturbed by the two dead Yliaster members. "Sazuka and Mitsuko. These are the Yliaster members who have come to meet with us. Please refrain from sticking a knife in their throats." Ross smiled.

Kai raised an eyebrow ever so slightly, but decided not to point out that, if a six-digit code was needed to get inside the room, the deceased members probably couldn't have gotten in the room in the first place in order to receive a bloody death. Of course, she couldn't actually be sure they hadn't known the code, and if they had, they probably weren't supposed to know it and...Kai clicked her tongue. She really shouldn't overanalyze things this badly.

She smiled at the two females in the room and waved a hand cheerfully. "Hello, I'm Kai," she said, and managed a giggle. Now if she could just avoid getting blood on her shoes or receiving a blade to...any part of her body, then everything would be all good.

"Yeah, they kinda, shouldn't have gotten in. I dislike having blood all over the floor though. It makes us seem so evil. I'll dispose of these. You make yourselves at home...or try to anyway."

Ross walked away to find something to get rid of the bodies.

Tommy looked at the bodies in disgust. 'Don't those Yliaster noobies know how to keep their god damn nose where it belongs.' he thought about his previous teammates. Tommy looked down and noticed their Yliaster member cards, which gave them access to certain areas. He bent down and snatched the cards from around their necks. They had blood on them, but Tommy nonetheless put them in his pocket.

"Seems like a waste of someone's eighteen years. Hmmm, now we need someone to make a cover story for the disappearance of two Yliaster members. Oh well, big boss's secretary could do it easily." Tommy said as an evil smirk creeped onto his face.

"Oh, that's already been taken care of."

Gaichus strode out into the main room.

"Welcome, agents of Yliaster. I have already contacted your superior, Regilus. He has decided that pairing up seems the ideal use of your talents. But what he DIDN'T say was how I am to go about pairing you up. Seeing as how I'm a very BORED dead man, I figure a miniature tournament of sorts seems the easiest. While we wait on one of our other members to arrive, Ross, why don't you duel...oh, what's your name...Tommy, that's right."

Ross walked back into the room smiling and holding a black duel disk. "Of course. The bodies can wait."

His duel disk activated, and a black aura surrounded Ross. He seemed to grow a few inches. "Are you up for it Tommy?" A deeper voice of Ross's asked .
