The drawback of losing the ability to use spells and traps during your turn may slow you down, and the fact that it is limited now weakens it further, but still, it is a good card. But it only works on a specific Pokemon, because there is no other way to obtain its awesome evolved form. TheTurtleOnceCalledGod Posted February 21, 2010 Author Report Share Posted February 21, 2010 I guess cold wave might not see the spotlight for a while, because it was limited, but anyways, it contributes to victory by in most cases stopping your opponent from stopping you, but not with all the anti-attack cards, like battle fader and such, it isn't as good anymore. Also' date=' how about banning Cold Wave 4 teh balance?[/quote'] Then why not ban everything on the forbidden/limited cards list and everything that has ever been on the forbidden/limited card lists, that way all meta would crash like a rock...That is why they won't ban cards like Cold Wave, they themselves do not break the game, DAD, JD, and other such nukes break the game. That is why they won't ban cards like Cold Wave, they themselves do not break the game, DAD, JD, and other such nukes break the game.The only thing this really facilitates is an overpowered OTK style of play.
