Isumi heard someone behind her, warning her to be careful. Zeraius?

 

"Relax, I've got it covered," she replied, not turning around. Just so long as I can stay concious.

 

"I summon Junk Synchron to the field," (ATK 1300) she called, slamming the card she drew onto the duel disk, "and with his effect I can bring Speed Warrior back from my graveyard." (DEF 400)

 

The small orange figure thrust out his arm to one side. A white ring appeared, and a grey shape, wearing a respirator, appeared alongside it.

 

"There's more. With a tuner on the field, I can summon Quillbolt Hedgehog from my Graveyard." (ATK 800) Another orange rodent, much like the first, appeared alongside the other monsters. "And finally, since I Normal Summoned a monster this turn, I can Special Summon Turbobooster from my hand." (ATK 0) A small yellow machine, looking somewhat like a pair of jet engines, joined the other monsters on the field.

 

"Now what?" the man asked, "none of those monsters can go against mine. You've wasted your time."

 

"If you're going to beat a girl up, you should at least let her finish her moves. I tune Junk Synchron with Speed Warrior, Quillbolt Hedgehog and Turbobooster in order to Synchro Summon Junk Destroyer." (ATK 2600)

 

"I activate Junk Destroyer's effect. When it's Synchro Summoned, I can destroy one of your cards for every non-Tuner I used in summoning it, and I used three."

 

"But that means..."

 

"You lose all of your cards." The laboratory background crumbled as the two Psychic monsters exploded into shards of light. "And as I recall, when your field spell is removed, you take damage." Part of the equipment from the 'lab' crashed down onto the man. (10300 > 7300) He emerged from the wreckage a moment later, apparently bleeding from somewhere on his head.

 

"You'll pay for that," he hissed.

 

"No, I think you'll be paying," Isumi counted, "now that Junk Destroyer can attack you directly." The black figure rushed towards the hooded man, grabbed him, lifted him up, and punched him in the gut. (7300 > 4700)

 

"I end my turn," Isumi added, and almost fell over. Okay, now I'm the one with the field, and hopefully the two cards in his hand won't be enough to stop me.

"My turn then," the man said, drawing his card. "Pandaborg in defence mode." A mechanical panda-like being emerged on the field. (DEF 1400) "And that's all for this turn."

Zeraius' eyes widened as he watched Isumi's move. Wow, I can't believe she pulled that off, she's completely swapped field advantage.

"You got this Isumi, kick this guy's ass." He half-yelled.

He looked down at his deck in his duel disk.

What's this feeling? Something isn't right... He grabbed a random card from his deck and pulled it out.

Lumina?

Lumina tried to ignore who she believed to be Azrael.

"Come on Luc! Zeraius and I are rooting for you!" She yelled.

She couldn't help but feel a little worried though, Zeraius wasn't around. If Luc lost... She knows who this is, if he wins, Luc can't protect her either, what would happen?

[Time Psyduck]

"That's it?" Isumi asked. "After all your speeches I'd have thought you'd have more than that. Oh well, my move, I draw."

 

Isumi glanced at her card. This I'll save for later. That's if I have a later, she thought, as her eyes stopped focusing again. Her entire body ached, so she had to hurry this up.

 

"Alright, Junk Destroyer attacks Pandaborg," she yelled. The metal bear shattered from the blow.

 

"Thank you," the man said.

 

"What?"

 

"Since you destroyed Pandaborg in battle I can pay 800 Life points to Special Summon a level 4 Psychic from my deck, so meet Telekinetic Shocker." (4700 > 3900) (DEF 700) A small figure wearing what looked like a red and black space suit replaced the panda.

 

"I end my turn," Isumi confirmed.

 

Isumi - Turn 5

Field: Junk Destroyer

 

"Well then, it's my turn," the man replied, drawing. "Excellent."

 

"You think you've got somewhere? Well you're wrong. I just drew another Psychokinesis, so for the discount price of 1000 life points I can take out your monster." (3900 > 2900)

 

Junk Destroyer burst into shards of light. Isumi stared.

 

"Now I'll switch Telekinetic Shocker into attack (ATK 1700), and I'll attack you directly." The suited figure launched electrical energy from it's hands at Isumi.

 

"Arrrrggggghhh," she yelled, her back arched from the shocks. When it stopped she fell to the floor, flat on her back. (1900 > 200)

 

"So much for you. You can get up if you want, but with only 200 life points and one card what can you do? Why not save yourself some pain and just hand me Ancient Sacred Wyvern now."

 

Isumi staggered to her feet. It looked as though smoke was coming from her body, and her hair was hanging down, shading her eyes. "Well it's still your move, anything else?" she asked.

 

"Not now," the man replied, "but do you really want to carry on. Just forfeit. I doubt that body of yours can even last out your turn, never mind mine, so why even bother."

Isumi didn't say anything, she just slowly lifted her right hand to the top of her deck. She winced slightly as she moved it, and she set three fingers on the top card. She twitched, and the card slid forward slightly.

"It's time to end this Duel!" Azrael said. Thought you can't protect yourself after Luc loose his Vitalia, Lumina

 

Azrael put his hand in his Deck and take out a card. "My turn, Draw! I let this face-down and turn end!" Azrael said while the hologram of a card appeared in Azrael's Field.

 

Thought we did it Dark Necrofear, Luc is almost out of energy, now we can loose this Duel.

 

A creepy smile appear in Azrael face, while Dark Necrofear just turn his face to Lumina.

Azrael was preparing the cross for the Vitalia.

"Alright, draw! I play 'Heavy Storm' All spells and traps are destroyed! Now, I flip summon 'Morphing Jar' We discard our hands and draw five new cards. Now I'll play 'Level Modulation'! Now you get to draw two cards, and I get to special summon 'Armed Dragon LV10', regardless of its summoning conditions. Now I activate its wicked* ability. By discarding one card from my hand, like my Red-Eyes B. Dragon," Luc said, sending Red-Eyes to the graveyard. "I get to destroy all face up monsters you control! Go! Serrated Sonic Disks!" The spikes on Armed Dragon's stomach began to spin like buzz saws. Then, two green buzz saw-like energy disks shot out and sliced 'The Wicked Dreadroot' and 'Dark Necrofear'. "Now with your Dreadroot gone, my Dragon's attack points return to 3000. Next, I play 'Monster Reborn'! Revive, Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon!" Luc exclaimed as the three headed Blue-Eyes returned to the field. "It's over! Go, LV10, attack him directly with Static Orb Thrust!"(Azrael:6750->3750)"Now, show him why you're called the Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon! Attack directly! Go, Neutron Blast!" Luc commanded. Blue-Eyes Ultimate's three heads began charging up an energy blast and unleashed it on the opponent.(Azrael:3750->0) "That's game!" Luc said, imitating Jaden Yuki. "Huh, that line actually fits me pretty well," he said, before his vision started to blur and the world started to fade. Then, he collapsed. Blue-Eyes Shining took a physical form** and caught Luc with its tail.

"But this is Mummy's favourite," the girl said, confused, looking up from the card in her hands, "so Mummy should keep it." She offered the card up.

 

"Mummy's not well, Izzy," the woman replied, kneeling down and pushing it back, "and she has to stay here to get better, so she wants to know that her favourite card is with her favourite little girl. You will do it, won't you? You'll look after Mummy's card until she gets better?"

 

"OK," the girl replied, "I'll keep it with me, I promise."

 

"Thankyou." The woman stood up, and a teenage boy arrived to escort the girl away. The girl waved happliy, and the woman reciprocated. She smiled, but there was a sadness in her eyes as well as she climbed back into the hospital bed.

Isumi's fingers twitched, sliding forward the top card of her deck.

 

"Just say it," the man pushed. "All you have to do is say you surren-"

 

Isumi drew the card.

 

"-der," he finished weekly.

 

I won't give up, Isumi said to herself, so what can I do. The card I have now is Monster Reincarnation, so whatever I just drew I can get Junk Synchron back, and with Speed Warrior in my Grave I can summon Junk Warrior. I won't win this turn, but I'll have the advantage again to win next turn, but then can I stay up that long?

 

Isumi was beyond pain now. Her entire body was shattered, literally and figuratively, she was battered, bruised and she thought she was bleeding, but somehow everything was becoming clear. It was as if everything was revolving around this. She would later realise it was the adrenaline rush, but right now it felt almost spiritual.

 

"I won't surrender," she repeated, out loud. "I won't give in, and I won't lose." She looked at her draw, staring at it to get her blurring vision to register what it was. No way!

 

"I activate Pot of Avarice," she said, struggling to find the slot for it. "I add 5 monsters from my grave to my deck, and then I can draw 2 cards. So I return Junk Destroyer, Archer, Quickdraw Synchron, Junk Booster and Level Warrior to my deck, and I draw."

 

Junk Collector...and Burial from a Different Dimension? I see. Isumi closed her eyes. Thank you.

 

"I activate Burial from a Different Dimension, allowing me to return Junk Gardna and both my Quillbolt Hedgehogs to my graveyard, and then I'll use Monster Reincarnation, allowing me to discard Junk Collector to add Junk Synchron back to my hand."

 

"So what? Even if you bring your destroyer back again, you won't win, and can you really last another turn?"

 

"Who said I'm going for Destroyer?" Isumi countered, her mouth lifting into a smile. "I summon Junk Synchron (ATK 1300), and with it's effect I bring back Speed Warrior as well (DEF 400). And guess what? Now that I have a tuner I can summon both my Quillbolt Hedgehogs from my grave (ATK 800, ATK 800)."

 

"Nine stars? You're going for a level 9 Synchro?"

 

"Wrong," Isumi replied, "I'm tuning Junk Synchron with Speed Warrior to synchro summon Junk Warrior." A blue figure with a scarf and an oversized fist appeared on the field. (ATK 2300).

 

"Now for his effect. He gains the total attack of every level 2 or lower monster on my field, so since I have 2 monsters with 800 each, Junk Warrior gains 1600 attack points." (ATK 3900)

 

"3900 attack points? No!"

 

"Yes," Isumi corrected again, seemingly split between happiness and rage, "I won't let you win. I won't let you have Ancient Sacred Wyvern. I won't let you have Mother's special card!" she yelled, "Junk Warrior, ATTACK!!!"

 

The blue figure smashed it's foe apart and slammed headlong into the man's chest. He fell backwards, ending up in a sitting position. (LP: 700)

 

"At least she doesn't have any more mo-" he began, but then he looked at the field again.

 

"Wait," he pleaded, but Isumi ignored him.

 

"Quillbolt Hedgehog, finish him!" she yelled. One of the small orange rodents dashed towards the man. As it approached, it curled up and began to roll, so that the man received a face full of bolts. (LP: 700 > 0)

 

I did it, Isumi thought, looking up at the sky as the field faded, I looked after it for you. You may not have ever gotten better, but I won't ever forget my promise...Mother.

 

Suddenly reality barged it's way back into her mind, and she suddenly bent forward, regurgitating what remained of her dinner. She staggered sideways, roughly towards where she though she'd heard Zeraius before, but she only managed three steps before everything went black.

 

Isumi's body toppled forwards and she slammed face-first into the grass.

Luc slowly opened his eyes. He awoke to a familiar dragonic face. "Huh? Blue-Eyes?" He mumbled. The dragon growled in assurance. The Blue-Eyes Shining Dragon had given up its physical form for the time being, as it took a lot of energy for duel spirits to retain one. It was now back to its spirit form. Luc shakily pushed himself off the ground. He looked at his duel disk. Armed Dragon LV10, Decoy Dragon, Morphing Jar, and Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon were still in his monster card zones and the life point readout was still showing "3250". "Is it over? Did we win?" He asked. Blue-Eyes Shining simply nodded. Luc reset the Life Point readout and returned his cards to their respective places. Blue-Eyes Ultimate and Stardust were put back into his extra deck. Everything else was returned to his deck, except for one card. Luc was just staring at the card:Blue-Eyes Shining Dragon. "Thanks for all your help pal. I know that wherever you are, whether it be deck, field, graveyard, hand, or removed from play, I can always count on you." He said. He felt the power return to his muscles. He knew he had to tell the others. The Wicked Gods, they were a powerful set of cards. As he was running towards the Red Dorm, he pulled three cards from the DARK attribute deck in a pocket on the inside of his jacket-'The Wicked Dreadroot', 'The Wicked Eraser', and 'The Wicked Avatar'. "Someone is using tainted copies of these cards for evil. That's definitely not good!" He thought. When he reached the cliff by the Red Dorm, he saw a rather astonished, possibly frightened, Zeraius. Then he noticed Isumi on the ground. "What the freak happened here?!" Luc asked.

 

(OOC:lol, pwned by a hedgehog. That's almost as funny as when Kuriboh pwned Thousand-Eyes Restrict)

(inmediately after the Duel and during the last turn)

 

"With you Heavy Storm I'll activate Compulsion Evacuation Device, returning my Dark Necrofear to my hand."

 

I can't let him hurt you my dear

 

The sparks hit AZrael, as everythin dissapear and Luc passed out, the mask of Azrael broke in front of his face revealing his face.

 

"He has passesd out," Azrael said while keeping th cross with Vitalia, "thought he gave a great Duel. Now you Blue-Eyes, your energy will be mine. And, unfortunally, Lumina, you don't have anybody to protect you. Pray for your soul." Azrael take off one of his gloves and a hand like burned with the Eye of Wdjat was revealed.

 

Azrael erased the memories of both spirits and then leave.

 

 

So Luc didn't notice the fake Dreadroute Azrael was thinking while the card of the Wicked Dreadroute and the whole Deck started to glow and turned in to common cards. Jokes. I know he notice, but... not now, I need that he get anger with his Blue-Eyes. He and his Wicked Gods will be mi servants

Dark Necrofear, seems that that man lost infront of Izumi, thought his obscecion with that card help her. Go, take her Vitalia and I'll see you at the gates.

"Actually Zeraius, that was a rhetorical question. I'm guessing it was a Shadow Game." Luc said. The only damage that he had sustained was a scratch on the cheek where the Dreadroot's claw had nicked him after destroying Blue-Eyes Shining. Isumi, on the other hand, was bruised and bloody. "She looks pretty bad, we may want to get her to the infirmary and leave the rest to Miss Fontaine." Luc said to Zeraius. Blue-Eyes just looked over the scene in worry. It felt it knew something about the duel from before, but couldn't remember a thing. The dragon was puzzled. All it remembered was getting slashed in half by that Wicked God. The scratch on Luc's cheek kept reminding it of the horrible memory. "I get backed into a corner and scratched by a Wicked God, and I am only out cold for a few minutes. Yet, poor Isumi ends up like this? It doesn't add up." Luc thought.

Zeraius picks Isumi up and turns towards the main building of the school.

"You're right Luc, I'll get her to the infirmary." He said as turns Isumi over and picks her up carefully. He starts to walk towards the main building. Poor Isumi... She looks terrible... He kept walking to the main building, he hoped the nurse would be able to patch her up. He was getting exhausted though, he hadn't slept well in the past few days and it was starting to catch up with him.

 

As he walked, he saw Lumina appear next to him, she looked kind of weak.

"Lumina, there you are. I was worried, what happened?" He said with a worried tone. He didn't like that she looked weak either.

"I... I don't remember. I remember you running off, and I remember seeing Luc win... but everything between is just a blank." She said, constantly trying to remember... there was something important that happened too. Extremely important.

"What happened to her? Is she gonna be okay?" Lumina asks as it finally hits her that Zeraius is carrying a girl with burns and cuts all over her.

"She was in a Shadow Duel. I need to talk to her when she wakes up to. That guy wanted something from her, and it could tell us exactly what these hooded people want." He said as he finally makes it to the infirmary. He knocks on the door with his foot. A very tired looking nurse with red hair pulled back into a pony tail answered.

"Mmm... Y-yes?" She answers sleepily. "Wh-What happened??" She wakes up immediately when she sees the girl.

"Long story, but she needs your help." He said vaguely, he didn't know about telling any of the staff yet, he was worried about their reaction.

"Over there, lay her down on that bed." She said pointing to one of the beds. Zeraius walks over and lays Isumi down on the paper covered bed. The nurse closes the curtain around the bed and leaves Zeraius to sit and wait. He leans his chair back against the wall and looks up.

I hope she wakes up soon... I have a lot I need to talk to her about after that duel. He thought as he closed his eyes. He sat there for a while as the nurse worked, and he slowly fell asleep.

((I suppose now would be a good time to bring the day to an end. So, just keep that in mind with your posts that it's pretty late at night at this point, and most of the school is sleeping.))

"I'd stay too, but I don't want to take up too much space." Luc said, "I guess I'll return to the dorm for real this time." He said, turning towards the door. As he left, Blue-Eyes appeared behind him again. "What's the problem pal, I've noticed that since I regained consciousness that you seem a little confused about something." Luc said. Blue-Eyes told Luc that all it could remember from the duel was getting destroyed by that Wicked God and then the final attack that Blue-Eyes Ultimate delivered. Other than that, everything else about the duel, as well as everything that had happened while Luc had been unconscious, was a blur. "Hmm, that's very vexing." Luc started, "you've always had a stupendous memory. Something must of happened." Luc tried remembering what happened, but the only things in focus in his recollection were his monsters and 'The Wicked Dreadroot'. There was a second monster on the opponent's field, but it, as well as the opponent, were blurred and out of focus, making them unrecognizable. But the sight of the Wicked God reminded him of something. He hadn't told Zeraius about the Wicked Gods. It was a little late now, he was already a few yards from his dorm. "I'll tell them tomorrow," He said, "maybe then Isumi will be awake to hear it too. This is a serious matter, they should all know about it." He muttered to himself. He pulled the three Wicked God Cards out again. Blue-Eyes whimpered at the sight of 'The Wicked Dreadroot'. Luc sighed and put the cards away. "You're still terrified by that memory aren't you?" He asked. Blue-Eyes nodded. "Well, you've never been destroyed by an opponent before, so I suppose the first time could be a bit frightening." He sighed. "But I'm sure you'll get over it soon." Luc opened the front door. The foyer of the Boys' Blue Dorm was quiet, dark, and pretty much empty. Luc slunk up to his room, careful not to make any noise. Once inside his room, he applied a bandage to the scratch on his cheek and went to bed.

The whole infirmary was Dark and quiet. Zeraius was sleeping in a chair. Izumi was in the bed adn was being check by the nurse.

 

Now, I can take her Vitalia Dark Necrofear appeared at the window of the infirmary...

 

Now... that's mine Dark Necrofear said while a shine ball apearead in Izumi and go to Dark Necrofear's hand. She left the place and go to the Obelisk Blue Dorm.

 

 

At the Obelisk Blue Dorm was Azrael...

 

In his room, he take out his cloak and his shirt and gloves.

 

"I can't let Dark Necrofear see this" he said while looking himself at the mirror. His full body has scars, scars of all the Shadow Duels he has been. His right arm looks like burned,and in the facepalm of his right hand, has an Eye of Wdjat.

 

"If it wasn't for the Wdjat I'll be like Luc..." suddenly he sence the prescence of Dark Necrofear. He quickly put his shirt and cloak...

 

"What happened Dark Necrofear? Do you have it?"

"Here it is. Take it" the sine ball appeared from Dark Necrofear's Body and get into Azrael's Body...

 

"We made it. Thought for tonight is all... We have to rest... "

 

Azrael said while keeping the card of Dark Necrofear in it's deck and go to sleep....

[Guest Random Dude]

"My turn now." said the hooded man before another emerged from behind the dorms. "Your poor performance in this duel shames us, on these grounds I banish you to the shadow realm." the second said then raised his hand and placed it on the other's head. "Goodbye." a strange light emerged from his hand, and Leon's opponent fell, as if dead. "Consider yourself lucky boy, this was by far the weakest one of us. You will join him soon in the realm of the shadows. Until then, rest for we could challenge you at any time we want." With those words, he departed. Leon felt heavy. He took a few steps forward, and passed out on the floor where he remained for the rest of the night.

Luc was staring down three monsters: 'The Wicked Dreadroot', a Black 'Blue-Eyes Shining Dragon', obviously 'The Wicked Avatar' using its ability, and 'The Wicked Eraser'. The last one was constricting his Blue Eyes. The dragon shrieked in agony. It and the Eraser began to melt away. "No! Blue-Eyes!" he called out, but then a voice from the darkness called out "Dark Shining Neutron Blast!" 'The Wicked Avatar' attacked, causing Luc to sit bolt upright in bed with a gasp. "It was, just a nightmare." he thought. "Those three cards, if I end up facing them, can I really take them out, or was tonight just a fluke?" he questioned. He picked up his deck. His attention seemed to be drawn to several cards: "Blue-Eyes Shining", "Red-Eyes Darkness", "Majestic Star", "Stardust", "Stardust/Assault Mode", "Horus LV8", "Armed Dragon LV10", "Light & Darkness Dragon", "Felgrand Dragon", and "Obelisk". "No, I could beat them. I have all the necessary cards to do so. And having the three Wicked Gods, I know each of their abilities, so they won't catch me off guard." he reassured himself, smiling. He put his deck away and went back to sleep. Back in the dream, he played "Mirror Force", then "Stardust Dragon" negated "The Wicked Eraser"s effect. Blue-Eyes ended the nightmare as it delivered the final blow, free from its Wicked captor. Its luminous body dispelled the shadows and ended the nightmare. With his confidence regained, Luc slept peacefully the rest of the night.

Isumi had but a single dream that night, quite early on. She was lying on the ground, with a shape floating above her. The thing reached out, and it seemed as though it were pulling something from her. Suddenly a familiar shape, somewhat dragon-like, flew between them, and the dark thing began to pull whatever it was from the other creature. She remember where she new the shape from, but it seemed as though it was on her side. The dark shape seemed not to see it though, and soon departed.

 

The dream faded out, and the next morning Isumi never remembered a thing

In the infirmary, unheard by anyone, a white dragon-like creature drifted, panting.

 

What was it you tried to take, fiend?" it wondered. It had just about been able to substitute some of it with some of it's own power, but that had used up most of the rest of it's strength. At least it should keep them away from her. I fear you'll never know about me, but thank you, Isumi. Already invisible to anyone still awake, he faded out of sight to even those with the ability to see things like himself.

Everything was pain, and anything that wasn't was aches. All Isumi could see was a field of orange-yellowness and, still sleepy, wondered where she was, before she realised her eyes were closed. She slowly opened one, and looked out of it. She seemed to be in the main school building, and she felt she was lying in a bed. How come she was here? She vaguely recalled there was a duel and she was hurt. So this must be the infirmary. She opened her other eye and began to look around. Curtains had been drawn around her, and her duel disk, still loaded with her deck, was sat on a table beside the bed. She also realised she'd been bandaged up by someone, probably the nurse. At least she'd rather it was the nurse, as opposed to whoever it was who brought her here. She tried to sit up, but found that it both hurt too much and that she seemed to worn out to move.

[The Amazing Avian]

"Ugh, my head." said Leon waking from his involuntary sleep. The light from the coming sunrise blinded him for a few seconds. He rose from the floor and tiredly walked towards the Slifer cafeteria for breakfast. He knocked on the door with no answer. "Hey, some of us are trying to sleep!" someone yelled before throwing a shoe a Leon's head. "What time is it?" Leon checked his watch and found that it was 6 AM. Leon walked up the stairs, opened the door to his room and dropped himself on his bed.

Zack had passed out. He heard a voice from down by the school. He rushed down to the Blue dorm he saw a Obelisk Blue and 2 or three random men talking to him. By the sound of their voice he could tell that they weren't a walk in the park. He ran up to them and asked "Hey what's going on." He saw a man on the floor it looked like he had no soul. Are the Shadow Games back? "Was this dude just in a Shadow Game?"

Blue-Eyes sensed the presence outside and woke Luc up. "Huh, wha?!" Luc asked confused, before rolling over the edge of the bed. He landed face first on the floor. "Talk about a wake up call. Blue-Eyes, this better be good." He said. Blue-Eyes gestured toward the window. Luc looked out the window to see Zack and a few indistinguishable figures. "This is bad! We never mentioned the return of the Shadow Games to Zack! He could be in grave danger!" Luc thought. He grabbed his Duel Disk and put it on, then added "Gandora The Dragon Of Destruction" to his deck and ran downstairs. He crept out the dorm doors, careful not to make any noise.

Azrael wake up. He had another nightmare, this time, an immaterial spirit, with a body swathed in black smoke. He has two long, gangly arms ending in claws, and no legs. It is a cloaked being resembling a Grim Reaper. When his hood is off, it's revealed that he has a pair of horns on the back of his head. His body is practically a skeleton with glowing blue eyes. Nightshroud's chest is revealed even when he wears his robes, and through it is a pair of ribs. He wears grey and red robes with gold trim, and has a dragon-shaped skull.

 

"It's time to bring back this guys" Azrael thought while dressing himself up and leaving the Dorm.

 

He arrived to the gate school, and started to talk with Dark Necrofear "I've gotta go to classes, I leave this in your hands. You know what to do. Just put the Vitalias in the keys and let the Shadow Riders return"

 

Dark Necrofear appear and just smiled to Azrael.

 

Azrael entered to the school and go to the Chancellor Office just to bother Chronos...

Zeraius woke up to the sounds of Isumi stirring. He looked around for a second before remembering what happened. He got up and patted on the curtains as if knocking on a door.

"You awake in there? Is it cool if I come in?" He asked from behind the curtains. He didn't know how he would explain what happened. She didn't believe in Shadow Duels, and she would probably look for every logical explanation she could.

This won't be easy. He thought to himself.

Isumi jumped at the sound of the voice, and instinctively pulled the sheet up around her neck - and then winced in pain again. That sounds like the guy from yesterday - wait it was yesterday right? - what's he doing here?

 

"Ye- yes, I guess so, but why are you even here?" she called back, clutching the top of the sheet tightly and attempting to force herself upright, which resulted in further pain and a shortness of breath.

Zeraius pulled the curtain back and sat down next to the bed.

"I'm the one who brought you here. After you won the duel, you collapsed, and you had been hurt very badly during, so I brought you here to get you help." He explained.

"Isumi... It'll be hard for you to grasp, but the reason you're here right now is because you were in a Shadow Duel." He hoped she would accept it quicker than he expected.

Brandon opened the doors to the slifer red dorm. "So this is where I'll be sleeping", he said, frowning. "I guess being new to this place has some downsides". Brandon walked over to his bed and unpacked his things, putting them neatly on a shelf and desk. He took out his laptop and put it on the desk as well, then pulled out his deck case. "I can't wait to go duel!", yelled Brandon. "I'll go look for an opponent now". He ran out of the dorm, slamming the door shut behind him. He was running toward the main school building when a figure appeared behind him, running as well. "Hey wait up", said the voice, almost ordering it. "Oh come on Terrorking, you aren't THAT slow are you?", said Brandon, laughing. The figure turned out to be the monster Terrorking Archfiend. Nobody else could see the monster, but Brandon could see him since he was little. He stopped at the main building and opened the doors, then Terrorking dissapeared. He jumped into the building and yelled at the top of his lungs, "Anyone want to duel?"

Upon hearing that Zeraius had brought her to the infirmary, Isumi's face felt oddly warm and seemed to turn red, although she couldn't tell why. "Thank you, I guess," she muttered.

 

Her attitude changed when he brought up the topic of shadow duels. "Huh? A shadow duel? But wouldn't that mean that the guy I was against had magical powers or something? They don't exist, so that has to be impossible, right? He must just have been using something to give his monsters physical presence or something. Probably because he thought I was some weak little girl." She looked down at the sheet, seeming oddly melancholic at the thought.

A boy who looked about 16 wearing a Obelisk blue uniform came up to Brandon and smiled. "I'll duel you", said the boy, still grinning. "Alrighty then", said Brandon, also grinning. They want out to the front school yard and prepared to duel. "I'm warning you Slifer, I won't go easy on you", said the boy, laughing. "I won't either", said Brandon, ready to duel now. The boy got ready and the duel began. "I'll go first", said Brandon, grinning as a crowd formed around them. "Alright", said the othet boy, now looking serious. "I'll draw", said Brandon. "I activate the field spell card, Pandemonium!" The crowd watched as the scenery went from a nice forest to a dark place full of evil, resembling the underworld. "I'll now summon Darkbishop Archfiend in attack mode. Now I'll place 2 cards face down and end my turn". "My draw", said the other boy. "I summon Fire Princess in attack mode."
