I love Spell Counters. The first major use of the concept of "put X counters on X cards". Especially Endymion, which revolutionized the concept. So I figure, a few ideas to work with that.

 

Of course this is a community set, so any ideas and/or cards are always appreciated.

 

Magical Aquisition

Normal Spell

To activate this card's effect, remove 4 Spell Counters from cards you control. Draw 2 cards.

 

Spell Power Burst

Normal Spell

Remove all Spell Counters from cards you control. Deal 300 damage to your opponent for each Spell Counter removed.

 

D.D. Magic Portal

Continuous Spell

Each time a Spell Card is activated, put a Spell Counter on this card. Once per turn, you can remove 4 Spell Counters from cards on the field to Special Summon a removed from play monster.

 

Magical Fusion Proxy

Normal Spell

You can activate this card's effect by removing Spell Counters on your side of the field equal to half the Level of a Spellcaster-type Fusion monster in your Extra Deck. Special Summon that monster, ignoring Summoning Conditions. It cannot attack or activate its effects, and is destroyed at the End Phase.

 

Magical Fusion

Normal Spell

You can activate this card's effect by removing Spell Counters on your side of the field equal to the Level of a Spellcaster-type Fusion monster in your Extra Deck. Remove Fusion Material monsters in your Deck, your hand, or your Graveyard from play to Special Summon that Fusion monster. (This is treated as a Fusion Summon).

When this card is Summoned, put a Spell Counter on 1 card that can have Spell Counters on it. You can remove 2 Spell Counters from cards you control to Special Summon this card from your Graveyard.

 

Ritual Grasp

Normal Spell

Select and activate 1 of the following effects:

● Reveal a Ritual Spell Card in your hand. Remove Spell Counters on your side of the field equal to half the Level in the Ritual Spell Card's text and add the Ritual Monster written in that card's text in your Deck to your hand.

● Reveal a Ritual Monster in your hand. Remove Spell Counters on your side of the field equal to half the Level of the Ritual Monster and add the Ritual Spell Card in its card text in your Deck to your hand.

 

Spell Ritual

Ritual Spell

This card is used to Ritual Summon any Spellcaster-type Ritual Monster. You must also remove Spell Counters from your side of the field equal to the Level of the Ritual Monster you are attempting to Ritual Summon.

This card cannot be Special Summoned, except by Ritual Summon. Each time a Spell Card is activated, put a Spell Counter on this card. You can remove Spell Counters from this card and put an equal amount on other card(s) on the field.

You can Tribute this Ritual Summoned card to add 1 Ritual Monster and 1 Ritual Spell Card from your Deck to your hand.

 

Djinn Sorcerer of Rituals

When you Ritual Summon a Spellcaster-type Ritual Monster, you can remove from play this card from your Graveyard as 1 of the monsters required for the Ritual Summon. If the monster Ritual Summoned using this card would be targeted by an effect or removed from the field, you can remove a Spell Counter on your side of the field instead.

 

Etheria, Enchanted Spirit of Harmony

This card can only be Ritual Summoned with the Ritual Spell Card, "Ritual of Harmony". Your opponent cannot select another monster you control as an attack target. You can remove 1 Spell Counter from a card you control to change 1 face-up monster to face-down Defence Position.

 

Ritual of Harmony

Ritual Spell

This card is used to Ritual Summon "Etheria, Enchanted Spirit of Harmony". You must also Tribute monsters whose total Levels equal 8 or more from your hand or your side of the field. You can remove this card in your Graveyard from play to have your opponent skip their next Battle Phase.

 

Pact of Solace

Ritual Spell

This card is used to Ritual Summon a LIGHT Ritual monster. You must also Tribute monsters whose total Level equals the Level of the Ritual Monster you are trying to Ritual Summon. You can remove this card in your Graveyard from play during either player's Battle Phase and select a Ritual Monster you control. That card cannot be destroyed by battle during this Battle Phase.
