Why not search Pokemon Sprite Generator into google, then use that to randomly select Pokemon. leaving you to decide a base.

The voltdude arms should be white.

 

The charqulind's head fire should be moved more to it's middle head, else it's like charmadners head-ear xD

im gonna try beedrill, voltorb and golbat! voltorb body, beedrill horn thing and golbat wings! youll see when i posy it...

All your doing is just basically splice them, but that isn't the thing about spriting, you have to THINK which body part would look coolest where, i would use beedril or crobat as base, i wouldn't use voltorb, maybe just for color.

ive done!its in first post..first time ive done the other pokemons colour scheme, recolour i tihnk? its my most rubbish splice so far, i think it wouldve lkooked better as voltorb colour scheme?

ive just made one!

dratini+dragonair+cascoon...

 

what ive done is, extended dratini's ears by using parts of dragonair's ears....then i added 3 spikes on dratini's tail from cascoon, then i added dragonair horn onto dratini's baby horn, then i added cascoon spike as another dratini horn..then i decided to make the tail spikes connected...im quite proud of it, i also recoloured dratini's eyes as cascoons eyes..

I don't know when I became the one say if someone is worthy to be a splicer. I mean just by making splices one is a splicer. If one is good or not is a different subject however.

 

I don't want to get into any in depth critique. Normally I like to not comment on stuff unless I do something more in depth. However, you've specifically asked for my comment, so I will. I also will be brutally honest.

 

I do not think you're good. You have a lot of things you need to do to be good. I look at these sprites and cringe. You mess up borders, you don't properly recolor, you don't have even mixes, and in general you don't have anything that's all that much wow factor. You need to take more time to better fine tune your work. You can't rush things. I don't care what excuse you have, it's probably not good enough of an excuse. If your source for your sprites is bad, get a better one. If you are rushed on time, do the sprite at a different time instead of just posting them as soon as possible. If you see a problem or something that looks weird, try and fix it.

 

To try and put things in perspective. Yours are a bit better than some of the worst floating around here. I suppose you should feel proud that you aren't the bottom of the barrel, but I wouldn't expect it to take much skill to be better than some of the sprites I see around here. Then there are people who are a bit below average, things that are viewed as 'good' here. Those are above you. Then next are the things that are considered 'the best' or 'amazing', basically stuff like mine. Then consider the fact that I'm not truly amazing or anything. Honestly I view myself as a bit above average, but nothing that great. There are splices I've seen that put mine to shame easily. So again, you aren't the worst, but as I said you have a lot to improve.

so could you give me any way to improve my borders please? this is NOT an excuse.but when i paste the images into my program i use to splice, the background of the sprites come out black, they shouldnt.. and that erases any black borders..so mopst of most pkemon borders i have to redo...te same "black background" problem comes up all the time...it annoys me,,
