Hello, everyone. So, anyways, I have recently decided to focus on extending my cardmaking work for my current writing project, Days of the Black Apple. In this case, I decided to give you guys a sneak peak at another of the many Japanese-styled cards cards which will be featured in my current writing project, Days of the Black Apple. In a Deck that plays a variety of Gemini and Normal Monsters, Gemini Devil Sisters is an important ace card from a character who has appeared, but has yet to be introduced.

Card Text:

1 Tuner monster + 1 or more non-Tuner Gemini Monsters

When this card is Synchro Summoned, you can Special Summon 1 Normal Monster from your Graveyard. You can Tribute this face-up card you control to select 1 Gemini Monster on the field. The selected Gemini Monster is treated as an Effect Monster, and gains its effects.

I pesonally love Japanese cards, the attribute and text it's pretty good and with good quality, the effect it's balanced and useful, the picture it's good xD I guess isn't overused yet... the only OCG error was pointed out above by Ragnarok wich you've already corrected. Well in simple words, you've made a great work on this one wanna see more of your work n__n maybe a Dark Synchro D:

Okay, I will do my best to address everyone's comments in order.

 

Alcander: Wow, you have no idea how flattered I am by such a comment, especially since it's from you. I'm pretty sure that a fair few people have used this image by now - it's pretty freaking gorgeous - but I am glad to hear that you feel that this card breaks the mold! I have yet to make a Dark Synchro, since I feel it's strictly a 5D's mechanic. Similarly, if you ever need a card changed into Japanese form for whatever reason, please feel free to ask me, and thanks for the perfect rating!

Well, I'm not going to argue since it's a matter of preference, but Brutdrago is a Level 8 monster, meaning that it requires a little more effort in most cases to be played. In addition, Gemini Devil Sisters allows you to Special Summon both non-Gemini and Normal Monsters, as well as fully power up any Gemini Monster you have out without having to be destroyed first. Still, I can see where you're coming from, and I appreciate the comment.

This is probably your best work yet. Even though Black Brutdrago is better, I can see alot of use for this. Using this with something like Summoned Skull or Cyber Tech Alligator looks as if it's going to get you somewhere good. But yeah, very good work.

I personally love Gemini monsters so this is really good. No OCG errors, brilliant picture and most importantly good support for Gemini monsters. Hope to see more Japanese cards. (Your writing project is really good, by the way).

Okay, I will do my best to address everyone's comments in order.

 

HP: Thanks, I am quite fond of this card as well. It's pretty useful in a variety of situations, but I agree with you when I say that its usefulness is limited to only a handful of Decks... Perhaps that's a good balancing factor for it, though. I'm glad you like it!

 

Queen: Ah, I am glad you think so. Even though I have a soft spot for plenty of the cards that I have created in the past, it's those kinds of comments that I'm looking for as I try to improve each time. Yeah, Black Brutdrago has its advantages in some cases, but I think that this card is much, much faster. And I don't know about you, but I wouldn't be reviving Summoned Skull or Cyber Tech Alligator with this baby... More like Gigaplant or Doom Shaman. In fact, the reason that I placed the "Synchro Summoned" restriction there in the first place was to prevent nasty combos with Doom Shaman... But yes, I'm glad you like it. I'm currently working on a related Tuner which works wonders with this card.

I forgot Gemini's were treated as Normal Monsters in the Graveyard. My bad S:

But yeah, forget those 2 and bring out Pheonix Gearfried! :D

Haha, yeah, I was wondering as to whether or not you had missed the point of the card entirely... But I knew we'd get there in the end, haha. Now do you see what I mean when I say that it's plenty faster than Black Brutdrago?

 

/Edit: I have now edited Gemini Devil Sisters' Synchro Material requirements to work exclusively with non-Tuner Gemini monsters... It can still Special Summon Normal Monsters, though. Comments on the change?
