Robot Wars, the "episode 1 thingy" was weird.

[spoiler=Yes, I saw it. -spoiler alert-]

Effectivly they were showcasing some new "AI-Bot".

But appearently the "minds" of all of them are "linked", and they all effectivly "learn" what there opponent(s) do, and can easily dodge/take advantage of that. They attack in like clumbs of 300s, where after the first 200 die, the remaining 100 can easily take out there target(s). But appearently to keep producing more mechs, they needed to capture people. Because the mechs appearently needed a human "driver"(even though it wasnt really bieng controlled by it, it was more like they needed the human so the robot's whole "learning" gimic would make more sence, as the human "slave" inside the machine was bieng used as a sort of data-esque storage thingy) Anyway, like all but 2(or maybe 4) of the main cast were captured by them, and had modified mechs that would be able to fight like there previous mechs. Like how one of them had a shotgun, another had some weird yo-yo weapon, etc, But apearently inside of the main "Base", which was like all the way out in space, there was appearently an older version(which doesnt make sence) of the mechs they were fighting. When they met up with the trapped(more like it was fused to the rock) mech, the driver said he wanted to die, or something like that, I dont really remember the WHOLE thing(so sue me >_>). Anyway, they killed the origional "host" and effectivly all the other mechs(the evil ones) died. Because this main one that they killed 5 seconds ago was suposetly the brain that controlled them all.

Its a weird stroy, and some of it didnt make much sence. But it was epic nonetheless.

I used to have alot of Gundam ones.

....But over time, they were eventually replaced with various Bionicles and other lego-related mechs/robots.

But now and then I still get an ocasional model ;)
