They don't hate them, they just think they're boring and in need of an effect. I like vanilla cards tho.

 

And I don't play MUGEN

I haven't done cardmaking in forever, but adding an effect to a card shows your creative ability more. Just making a vanilla card with a random description isn't as creative, and usually frowned upon.

They think that it takes no effort to make one. All you gotta to is make up a small description and that's it. No creativity, so to speak.
