At Japan, I've had no dissections yet. I'm in 6th now.

 

Yet it has been scientifically proven that dissection and any sort of material that "stays in mind" gives you a clealer and more stronger thought on the subject, thus giving you a better grade in Science. I look forward to it.

I agree, cats are not to be dissected. I've never done one before, personally...but I rather like the idea of a human dissection.

Uhh... in most schools, the frogs you get for dissection usually have the eggs taken out of them to avoid something like that. Your science teacher probably got some bad quality frogs. D:

They have that. But I'd much rather have a hands-on experience, see what I am doing, and look clearly at what I am doing.

 

And with virtual dissection, you can hit backspace and remove the last cut you made. In the real thing, one wrong cut and you are done. Just like in autopsies (sp?).

 

Even thought my major is the exact opposite of medical, I loved dissections. D:

But anyway, the whole class is gonna get to dissect a cow. Like all of the parts! Epic. I've reserved heart, lung and brain already, but im not sure what else.
