.Gideon.
Do you think Trap cards use will increase in this format ? Many anti-meta decks are emerging and are very competitive, like DD Eatos deck.and now with the release of Starlight Road, the opponent will not use heavy storm when they see 4-5 face-down s/ts on your field, cuz they probably know u have a SLR there. Yesterday I got my 3 SLRs, when my friends knew, they never used heavy, Icarus, Celestia, Mobius, etc.. on me ( I use a DD Eatos Deck which is full of Traps & Quick-plays). so what do you all think ?will the number of Traps in the decks jump from 5-6 to 9-15 ? OnSlaUghT
SLR can be used in a deck with very little traps too. You know that right? Quickplays will still always be more popular, too.

Rose
This is already a Trap heavy format. Alot of people i face on YGO Network hate me because of Starlight Road, i set like 4 traps and 2 of them are Starlight Road ;). I do see alot more builds being more Trap heavy. I wouldn't ever use over 12 traps however in any of my decks.
TheTurtleOnceCalledGod
People should run Jinzo more often now with the trap-heavy meta and anti-meta (gets shot)

Dr. Cakey
Anybody who has every Turbo Dueled on WC09/10 knows: that's the Traps Format. Particularly in WC09, where there were few cards to increase Speed Counters and your stash of counters could deplete easily. Did you duel Yusei? He always had a huge backrow of annoying cards.WC10 has Full Throttle, though, so I use that to make most of S/Ts Speed Spells instead of Traps.Erm, but we're not Turbo Dueling, we're in the March 09 format. I'd say the number of Traps will increase, but that's because of Starlight Road. See, players have a strange mistrust of certain card types: Equip Cards, FLIPs, and Traps. Now, some Traps (i.e. Mirror Force) are so incredibly powerful that people have no choice but to use it (occasionally). There could be an Equip Card that said "The equipped monster gains 8000 ATK and cannot be destroyed by card effects." and people would decide "lol equip useless".Right, that's my rant. More or less.
