Where is gravity bind and Area B?

Its not worth it anyways, I ran a really good countdown deck once at a tournament and got timed out 3 out of 5 rounds...it just works too slow.

The worst part is I had swords and trunade with like 9 turns left all 3 times..when they call time you have 4 rounds to win....

Your post confuses me, 20 turns isn't that long to wait, especially since it's 10 of yours and 10 of theirs, once it's played you have to stall 10 of your opponent's turns... besides that, it doesn't take long to set up your defense and then end.

You're doing it wrong if you're actually spending time on your turns... takes no time at all to draw, play countdown, set waboku, end, draw, set roar, end, draw, summon zero gardna, end, draw play warrior returning alive, summon zero gardna, end, draw, set thunder of ruler, end, draw, set waboku, end, draw, set waboku, end, draw, summon zero gardna, end, draw, set frozen soul, end, draw summon zero gardna, end, win.

matches in tournament play are typically limited to 20-30 minutes, and there are 2 rounds in a match.

when you stall for a countdown deck your opponent takes longer to make their moves because what they can actually do has been limited so much.

if you don't win the first 2 rounds, they will call time on you in the 3rd. once time is called the person with the most lifepoints after 4 turns wins...since you pay 2000 for countdown...and you can't win with countdown in 4 turns...your pretty effed.

*facepalm* If you win twice, you win the match, therefore, you don't need a 3rd round. If they win a round, it probably didn't take long, so you have plenty of time to win in the third round. It's best 2 out of 3, so if you win two, you win the match.

if you were playing (against) a countdown deck and you knew that you were under a time limit what would you do?

same for mills.

yeah its cheap, but in tournament play its just what happens, when time is called whoever has the most lifepoints wins, and with a countdown deck, your lifepoints are always lower.
