I'm not sure if this belongs to "Music Section" or in "General", so I'll post it here! The event that you were waiting for.... The time has arrived.... "The Gates Of The Oblivion"!! That's the final name of our band! I don't know if this is advertising, but we have made a site with our band, on Facebook! We have 53 fans, 'till now! Man, I'm extremely happy!!! If you have Facebook, check "Gates Of The Oblivion". Videos and photos are uploaded every day! Songs will be posted, soon!

It's time to give an answer: I'm Minas Alvertis. I come from Greece. I still go to school. I like doing many things, such as drawing, listening to music, playing musical instruments etc. You should care, because all the bands started out like this! By posting on the internet![i think! lol!] (And because I, just, want some support!) I may be too optimistic, but that's the right way to succed! And to ask you a question, too: If you don't care, why do you post? You could, just, live this thread die! Anyway... I won't care for a crab wearing a helmet... Even if this crab is a mod...

It's time to give an answer: I'm Minas Alvertis. I come from Greece. I still go to school. I like doing many things, such as drawing, listening to music, playing musical instruments etc. You should care, because all the bands started out like this! By posting on the internet![i think! lol!] (And because I, just, want some support!) I may be too optimistic, but that's the right way to succed! @Skuldur: First of all... NO ONE CAN BE COMPARED WITH BANDS LIKE THESE!!!! Secondly, couldn't some other, not so famous and popular bands post advertisements on internet? And I don't mean on YCM! :-) (And YCM didn't exist when Beatles came out!:-))

What Skuldor was saying is that those bands became famous because they were good. They didn't need much advertisement, the people advertised those bands themselves. If you want to have a famous band, you have to be at least good as them.

 

And what the hell does YCM have to do with this anyways?

For your first question: I said YCM, because Skuldor said that famous bands started posting on Yugioh forums. That's what I said!:-) And everyone needs advertising today. The seasons that good musicians succeded just because of their talent, have gone and will never come back...:-(

 

And about the other comment... OUCH! You are tough... But not tough enough! And if you are our demon, then we'll see you in hell!(from a movie. Can't find so good punchlines..)

First of all: About the internet. I mean a lot of new bands need advertising through internet! I've said that before, so, plz, read the whole replies.

Secondly: Thought that you'd like it... But even if you don't like it, we'll play on 3 or 4 schools. Then... we'll see...

P.S. About the "Who are you, why should I care?" It was clever at the start, but it gets overused! So, I am me, you are you. That's all![Even if it sounds weird, I love this conversation! It's so cool!] Oh, changed the name, too! It fits better, according to the comments..

In fact, you're right... (must tell the others to upload a song, soon) But I did answer the Why part!:-) I'll tell it again. You should care: 1st) If we succed on making a good band, you'll know a famous person![/sarcasm]

2nd: You should care, because most of the members have the same age! So, you should care for a person that could be your real friend! And a little support never harmed! Even if you think we suck, you could say something good... But, if you listen our songs and they really suck, then tell the worst words ever!:-)

There's nothing special about famous peoples. Infact, they're worse than normal peoples.

 

And as for your second one, I would never consider you a real friend. Or anybody else that comes on here. It may hurt, but it's the hard truth and I'm a cruel person. So deal with it.

 

And if you suck, then I will not say something good. Infact, I will find the worst possible part and rub it in your face.
