Now, people, this is where you come into this. I want you to post your opinions on where this card would be placed on the list (Banned, Limited, Semi-Limited or Unlimited) and why.

I would have to see this in play, before I can come up with a solid answer. It seems like a JD abuse thing, but would it cause quick decking out?

Either banned or limited... Sure, the card removal does balance it a bit, but as I said JD says hello. Either that, or a BEWD... How about a SBEWD?

You could easily get those guys out. (If you had Lightsworns/ and or 2 monsters on your field.)

If it was unlimited, and say you draw 3 on the first turn, you use Dian Keto and get a JD and a Lumina or something, you could have a real quick advantage.

 

Though, in my opinion, call it limited.

In Lightsworns, if you get this on your first turn, it's an instant JD. More importantly, you can get a few Wulf's in there, too, if you don't plan on using his effect.

Add JD.

Send 3 Wulf's, 3 Jains, Lyla, and a Lumina.

That's the point. If JD is too OP for this card, how about the rest of the world's Lightsworn. You really need to edit this card.

But it makes it from broken, to something that we are scared of.

 

Anyway, LS is taking a hit.

 

I will come to the conclusion on Semi-Limit. What other LIGHT stuff does Yu-Gi-Oh! have to offer other then LS, Krystia and Honest. I mean, Honest is Semi'd, JD should be Limited and other stuff, this card really doesn't make that much of a threat, because if you are a smart player, you are prepared for cards like this. Limiting this would be suckering the bad players who can't be bothered to run Bottomless Trap Hole/Trap Hole/Dark Bribe/Solemn Judgment because the run other stupid stuff.

 

Also, everybody in this thread tell me that Beckoning Light is more broken the this, because in certain cases, it is.

lul didn't see that. Of course unlimited at first. then after an as*hole uses it in a tourny and wins with FTK, becomes forbidden, then slowly climbs from limited to semi-limited, then to unlimited again.

Limited, leaning towards banned. It allows you to fetch virtually any Lightsworn and quite feasibly provide the monsters necessary for its summon. It also helps Deck thinning and filling the Graveyard with Necro Gardnas.
