Dark_Armed_Zombie
It's good at 1, if your deck doesn't run destruction outside of battle, then you are doin' it wrong anyway.

Scatty
You know what's really REALLY strange 'bout this card? It is also destroyed by negated effects. No really. If you ss a Darius from your Deck and use it's effect on a Murmillo from your Grave, the Murmillo will actually kill the Reaper.

Scatty
No, it's just lulzy. And it also means Spirit Reaper can be destroyed by traps while Royal Decree is face-up.

If you ss a Darius from your Deck and use it's effect on a Murmillo from your Grave' date=' the Murmillo will actually kill the Reaper.[/quote'] Eeh, no. Murmillo's effect won't activate, so you cannot target Reaper. Spirit Reaper is destroyed if it is successfully targeted by a card. If the ACTIVATION of a card that targets is negated, then that card never targeted Spirit Reaper, so it lives. If the EFFECT of a card that targeted is negated (such as with the example of Murmillo and Darius, Murmillo still activates and chooses a target, but then its effect is negated by Darius) then Spirit Reaper was still targeted and will be destroyed by its own effect. Cavv10
But isn't Darius' effect that negates Murmillio continues and it prevents Murmillo from activating? Srry if I'm wrong, I'm not a rulings expert or something.

Srry if I'm wrong' date=' I'm not a rulings expert or something.[/quote'] Negating effects and negating activations are two different things. If an activation is negated, then its like the card never happened and in this case never targeted Spirit Reaper, but if only the effect is negated, the card activation is successful and targeted Spirit Reaper, but it resolves without anything happening. Canadian
WOAH THIS CARD HAS A SECOND EFFECT!!!11!!ONE!!1!!! What about its discarding power?
darkwolf777
WOAH THIS CARD HAS A SECOND EFFECT!!!11!!ONE!!1!!! What about its discarding power? lol yes, it does have that effect where attacking directly will let them discard a card. Its good to have when you're expecting an open attack, even if it does leave you open for a bit.
Jonnyfive
Heh' date=' this + Widespread Dud = insta kill X3[/quote'] lol...how sneaky."the only way you can kill my spirit reaper is to target it with a monster effect" "i activate widespread dud" "whats it do?" "it targets your monster..." "damn..."
Dark_Armed_Zombie
I meant more like you target your own Spirit Reaper and one of their monsters, or their Reaper and another monster. Either way, insta-kill :D
Coffee Black
Very good card. Can be splashed very easily into decks for effect, attribute, and maybe even typing. it's not broken enough to be banned. Stay @ 1.
Scatty
Honestly, it's weak. For 55% purposes, Shield Wing can be more useful, and anyway, Marshmallon exists. It's discarding effect will most likely never be used anyway.

Besides that, it's discarding effect may not be used often, but it's better than "burn for 1k when attacked and flipped face-up"

darkwolf777
Eventually we'll get a Dark version of Honest... probably called "Dishonest"~
Dark_Armed_Zombie
For Marshy to work with Honest you would have to put it in ATK position, and then NOONE will know what you are planning :?

Dark_Armed_Zombie
And it would do absolutly nothing since Honest only works on ATK...
BulletMan
Why? Cuz I can target it. With a card. Any card that targets. Not attack targets, but targets with an effect. That's why I don't fear the reaper.
