ryuujinn
Alright, this is my second thread here.. This time, its a basic 5v5 DotA Team. [spoiler= 5 Card Set (Rikimaru, Traxex, Nessaj, Nortrom, and Mortred)]Effect: When this card battles with another monster, put 1 Assassination Counter on this card. You can remove Assassination Counters on your side of the field to apply the following effects: ●2 Counters: Return this card to your hand. ●4 Counters: Until End Phase of this turn, 1 face-up "Rikimaru the Stealth Assassin" gains 400 ATK. ●6 Counters: Destroy 1 face-up monster in Attack Position.Effect: As long as this card is face-up on your field, opponent cannot activate Monster Effects. Once during your Battle Phase, you may pay 1000 life points to increase this card's ATK by 1000 until the end of the Damage Step.Effect:This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card cannot be Special Summoned except by removing 2 face-up Fiend-Type Monster on your field. Once per turn, during your Battle Phase, you can pay 1000 lifepoints to Special Summon 1 Phantasm Token (Fiend-Type/DARK/Level 5/ATK 3000/DEF 0) in Attack Position. If this card would be destroyed by battle, you can send 1 Phantasm Token to the Graveyard instead.Effect: Each time this card is targeted by a Monster or Spell Effect, put 2 Silence Counters on this card. You can remove Silence Counters on your side of the field to apply the following effects: 4 Counters: Negate the activation of a Monster Effect. The monster is not destroyed. 6 Counters: Until the end of your Battle Phase, increase this card's ATK equal to the number of Set Spell or Trap Cards on the field x 300. 8 Counters: Until the 3rd turn this effect is activated, your opponent cannot activate any Monster, Spell, or Trap Effects.Effect: Each time this card battles with another monster, you can flip a coin and call it. If you called it right, increase the ATK of this card by 1000 points. Whenever your opponent declares this card as an attack target, you can discard 2 DARK monsters from your hand to switch the attack to another Monster Card you control. Same as my Bleach Thread, if you find something wrong or if you want to offer improvement, feel free to post in this format:Card Name:Correction/Improvement (i.e OCG improvement, picture, effect, etc): Ratings, Critiques, and Comments are greatly appreciate. Kabuchimaru
I like the last two images the best, and as for effects, I'm not really for any specifics, although I do like Nessaj. About half are OPed, because of their main effects. Not being able to activate Monster Effects? That's a real basic part of dueling, and with a chance to raise attack by 1000 for a mere 1000 LP cost, that's a pretty difficult card to wipe off the field, with the exception of Magic/Traps. Nessaj, has a OPed effect as well, arguably the most OPed out of all. Summon a 3000 ATK token for a mere 1000 LP, and if Nessaj is destroyed, give up one monster? 4000 LP Fills up the field, when only 2000 LP gives you the win. 3.5/5, which is a 7/10. I like the effects, as overpowered as they are, and Nortrom and Mortred are pimp images IMO.
ryuujinn
haha.. I guess.. I try t match Nortrom's Card to what he really does in the real game.. might've "overlooked" the imbalance nature of his effects.. :))
Kabuchimaru
I do that sometimes, but if you REALLY want overpowered... I've made some extremely OPed cards on purpose before.
ryuujinn
Haha.. Good Point.. well for the sake of being realistic enough, I wanted these cards to be balanced enough.. though, I dunno how to make it more balanced as it is.. hahaha... any ideas would be really great.. xD
Kabuchimaru
You could water down the ATK points of all the Increase by 1000's to 500, or even 700, and water down 3000 ATK point tokens a bit, that's up to you the amount, I'd say 1000 or so is a fine ATK point for free tokens.
