Draw engine for Aliens

Can't see the picture but...

 

Aliens don't have a draw engine unfortunatly and it hurts them pretty bad. Non-solid builds can get around that through tutor, i.e. Sangan, Mysterious Triangle, etc., and reverse-tutor, or sending things to the grave and then getting them back (only works with monsters though :'( ) Unless Tronta's pic was a draw engine, it's tutoring that has to do *tear*

 

Edit: There are the MJ's, but I don't really like them in Aliens. I may have to test them though...

Aliens usually find themselves better in the Graveyard, especially with the cards that allow them to be Special Summoned from there using Code A-Ancient Ruins. Because there's little draw power, searching and deck thinning might be the way to go.

 

Gold Sarcophagus, while taking 2 turns, should get you the cards you need. IMO, if your deck lacks draw power, then Gold Sarcophagus would be something you might want to throw in.

 

Because many Aliens can get Special Summoned with Code A-Ancient Ruins, you could try Snake Rain. This will thin out the deck of your aliens, making them accessible in the Graveyard to it.

 

Can't really think of much else off-hand. There's Damage = Reptile to search for Reptiles when you take damage when a Reptile Battles. Oshaleon can help get Alien Ammonite to the hand so you can summon, use its effect, and synchro summon Gol'gar.

Well I don't really have that problem, sure sometimes a bad opening hand but (almost?) all decks have that. But I guess everyone has there on favourite version. I like aliens and I really like my build, but Aliens do lack their own special draw power (something like Destiny Draw).

Treasure Map?

 

Treasure Map must be the one that's being returned to the hand in order for it to activate. Gol'gar can only return face-up Spell/Trap cards to the owner's hands. It wouldn't be able to target Treasure Map in order to trigger its activation requirement.

 

Unless you have another way of returning this to the hand, it wont fit in nicely.

Now that I think about it, if you did this it would be saying discard 1 reptile and 2 cards to draw 2 cards. So it's a more specific Hand Destruction. :/

 

I would rather play Hand Destruction.

You can remove 1 A-Counter from anywhere on the field to draw 1 card from your Deck.

 

That would be soooo banned.

 

I'm talking about his one X-L... 2 "A"-counters instead of 3 like darkwolf said.
