Time Psyduck
"Now, I think," Valentine muttered. "Cradlily, launch stealth rock," he called out, raising his voice. Cradily responded by spewing out several stones, which flew past the blue flames and Vulpix, littering the half of the battle area closest to Jake. Meanwhile the blue flames found there target, and Cradily's skin seemed to singe under the mystical fire. "Not bad," the older trainer added, "not just trying for absolute power. Unfortunatly, if it's game of accumulate damage, then Cradily is very much the better pokémon for the job. Cradily, Toxic." The prehistoric pokémon reared it's head, and launched a mass of liquid towards it's foe.
Grunt Issun
"heh, looks like someone didnt study, a burn makes you weaker and takes away an eigth of your health every so often. so your at a dis advantage. Now if i remember correctly this attack is super effective IRON TAIL!!" jake exlaimed. The vulpix ran up and jumped with its tail glowing, then flashing down with its tail, aiming for cradily Heh, with the slow speed of a cradily, he cant dodge. LightShock
"Whoa! Quick Lightshock, Abort!" Mark shouted quickly, and immediately, the Manectric Lifted it's Tail, avoiding the pincer-like grip of the Typhlosion. However, the momentum caused it to Launch forward, where it crashed into the wall painfully. He got back to it's feet though, still looking for more."Nice tactic..." HE said, grinning slightly, and folding his arms, impressed.
Time Psyduck
OOC: What happened to Cradily's Toxic? I'm guessing it missed, but you never even acknowledged it. "However, a loss of strength only matters if you're actually going to use it. If I don't use a physical attack, then it won't matter, so Cradily, use Confuse Ray." Vulpix may be attacking with it's tail rather than it's head, but unless it watched where it was hitting Iron Tail was liable to go off course, and as it moved in a sinister looking orb of light danced away from Cradily towards the fire-type. The stiffened tail crashed straight into the fossil pokémon, and it buckled under the blow for a moment, before flicking it's head up so that it's mouth was aiming straight at Vulpix's belly. "Toxic," Valentine called. Another spray of unpleasant liquid crashed out. The toxins in it were so potent that even skin contact would be enough to give the target a crippling poisoning. "You seem to have overestimated how much that burn helps you," Valentine warned his opponent. "The burn may cost Cradily it's strength when it attacks, but it still has it's defences, and Vulpix never had any real physical power to begin with. Even with the burn, you've only made my advantage smaller, and you seem to have failed to account for the effect the sandstorm is having on your Vulpix." OOC: If Vulpix halts it's attack after/because of confuse ray, ignore the second two paragraphs.
Grunt Issun
OOC: it did stop. and i forgot to say the first toxic hit. IC: "Remember your father growler. he passed on flare blitz to you, USE FLARE BLITZ" Vulps shot out many flares of fire, scatering twords cradily, and after dodgin just behind cradiliy it could be a direct hit
Time Psyduck
"Bring it on," Valentine told them, "Cradily has a good defence, and it's rock-type gives it resistance to fire-type moves." Vulpix slammed headlong into Cradily's back, forcing it forwards but not over, as it was able to keep it's grip on the ground. It then whipped back upright, launching it's opponent off it and through the whirling sands. "That wasn't the best call you made," Valentine explained. "Vulpix lacks the power to attack physically, and Cradily is too good in defence for you to inflict much damage directly. Further, you really shouldn't have risked the recoil damage under these conditions. The sandstorm and the poison from the toxic attack are slowly sapping enough heath from your Vulpix as it is - do you think it's wise to inflict it yourself?" Grunt Issun
"Rrrgh, if i dont do alot of damage i'll take even less recoil. Come back vulps" Jake called, a red beam shot out of the pokeball and brought it back in. "Okay Emlie, you ready?" Jake asked "Ratta" Emlie cheered "Good, GO EMLIE. BLIZZARD!!" Jake shouted. A giant snow storm came raging twords the cradily. "TAKE THAT!!"
Time Psyduck
Several rocks, strewn about the battlefield, lifted themselves as the Rattata moved back into the battle and slammed themselves into the small pokémon. "I hope you didn't forget about those rocks," Valentine called. "I had Cradily set them up just as you burnt it, so now every pokémon you send in will be taking a rock-type hit before it even begins to fight. Oh and it seems your blizzard's just blown off course," he added. It was true - the snowstorm had been swept up in the raging sands, and was breaking up harmlessly somewhere off to Valentine's left. "Do you see the beauty of this now? I said Cradily wasn't the most visually attractive of my pokémon, but in battle she has a wonder of her own. I think a top up to your health is in order though, so how about a Recover?" Cradily seemed to have been waiting for the order before it came, as almost instantly it began to straighten up to it's original position. The burn didn't fade, but the other marks on it did. So one day when he was able to choose his very own pokemon, Lance decided not to choose a starter and asked his brother for the baby Gligar that hatched from his Gliscor's egg. His brother smiled and handed him the tiny Gligar. Lance came to this island to make Gligar stronger. He has found a Sharp Fang and is trying to evolve Gligar. Time Psyduck
"It's still moving?" Valentine asked, stunned, as the Rattata rushed through the sandstorm and clamped it's teeth into Cradily's base. Having struck whilst Cradily was regaining health, it's timing fell just so that it came out of recover with just as much health as it did going into it. Cradily swept down and swatted at the Rattata, not making anything that would be considered an attack but just trying to knock the rat pokémon off it. "That's one impressive Rattata," Valentine conceded. "To still be going after what it's been through, you've done well with it. But how much longer can it keep this up? Cradily, use Energy Ball." A ball of green energy began to form in front of the pokémon's mouth. As it did so, Cradily kept an eye on it's foe, and as soon as the sphere was large enough it was launched straight into the Rattata.
Grunt Issun
"Emlie and I went through enough tough times to survive alot" Jake said as the rattata bruised and scratched was hit by the energy ball. "You cant keep us down. I saved Emlie from an rock slide when it was just a baby. When i found out it was wild I decided to keep it and nurture it until I was old enough to battle with it. We fought some tough enemies. Wild pokemon, bikers, gangs. But we kept on going. We will never give up until were down for the count." Jake explained "It was through all this that I plegded never to evolve emlie. Now that emlie has such a low health. ENDAEVOR!!!" Jake announced. "Heh, endeavor brings your health down to mine, Theres no way you can win now." Jake said breathing heavily. "and if you can manage one...try a quick attack" Jake said. Envoy of Twilight
OoC: I forgot to put up a roster, I only put 1 pokemon up, can I change that? Brandon walked out of the airplane onto Shard Island and looked around. "I sure hope you brought some coats Shiftry", he said as his pokemon walked out of the plane behind him, carrying heavy suitcases. They found a motel and checked in for the night. They unpacked their things and walked around until they found a gym. They then walked inside. "Hello?", he yelled, awaiting an answer. "I wonder if anyone's here", said Brandon top his Shiftry, frowning.

Envoy of Twilight
Brandon smiled. "I don't plan on holding back, but I do only have my Shiftry with me at the moment. I left my other pokemon at my house in the Hoen region. If he is enough, I would definitly like to battle", Brandon said. His Shiftry glared at David, a strange look of pure anger in it's eyes. Brandon looked over at Shiftry. "Wow, he doesn't look at any ordinary person like that", Brandon said, laughing. He smiled at David and awaited an answer. Time Psyduck
"What!?" Valentine exclaimed as the battered Rattata threw itself headlong onto the rock-type and scratch and bite at it. Slowly Cradily began to tip, and then it crashed down on it's side. Valentine pulled out the luxury ball and recalled the injured pokémon. "That was an unexpected move. I have to say I'm impressed - not many people take out even one of my pokémon, and you've managed to do quite a bit to another one as well. Maybe I should have taken this more seriously," he mused, spinning the rose in his fingers. "However that move has sealed your Rattata's fate. In order for Endevour to do enough to take out Cradily, Rattata's health has fallen too low for it to survive the sandstorm, so all I have to do is wait, but just in case you were planning something," he brought out the first luxury ball, "Bellossom, Magical Leaf, wide spread." The small flower pokémon once again took to the field, and began to spin, glowing leaves flying off in all directions. They arced through the sand and began to move in on Emlie from all sides. ~Kip~
"Typhlosion, use Rollout into the ground, then pop up and keep doing it!" Leonard called out. The Typhlosion's massive spinning body placed a few holes in the ground, as if making a tunnel. It made six holes, seven, eight, nine, and so forth. Soon, the whole battlefield was covered in holes for the tunnel. "Now Typhlosion, use Flamethrower in one of the holes!" The Typhlosion came out of it's spinning menace. It blew a stream of flames into the holes, causing massive flames to appear before the board. This, of course, was too far from Manectric to even tick it's leg. However, when the flames stopped, Typhlosion was nowhere to be found. OoC: dun dun dun! XD lol

The Manectric opeyed, Finding a Space in the corner of the room, away from the Holes."Now, Prepare Hyper Beam!" Mark commanded, grinning at his Challenger. This was his Lightshock's Secret Weapon. Time Psyduck
OOC: Your posts have to be four lines (rather than sentences) long, otherwise the RP will be locked. Aim for six or so when typing it out to make sure it's enough. As Snover appeared, the rocks on the ground rose up and slammed into it. "Since Snover is an Ice-Type, that's going to hurt it a lot," Valentine cautioned, as the conditions on the field changed once again. The sandstorm subsided, but now ice began to fly around the battlefield. "Ah, the Snow Warning, right on time," he muttered, "and just in time to be removed. Bellossom, use Sunny Day!" he called. Bellossom began to spin around, shedding light to cast away the new hailstorm and bring back the sunlight. By the time she was finished the Snover was looming above her. Bellossom's usual moveset won't be much use here - Snover is resistant to her grass-type attacks, and she's a bit too worn out for double-edge, so maybe it's a good job she learnt that move then. It'll be rough, but it'll do. "Bellossom, close in and use Drain Punch," he called. As Snover prepared to launch it's attack the smaller pokemon dashed in and swung a fist up into it's opponent's lower body. Unlike her other moves, it seemed somewhat rushed, and very mush less coordinated, but the tiny grass-type was determined to pull it off.
~Kip~
The Typhlosion still didn't come. It was somewhere, and only itself and Leonard knew where it was. "Typhlosion, Rollout again!" It was true, the Typhlosion was underground, however, where it was, there was no hole. It had dug another tunnel secretly under the Manectric, waiting patiently. The Typhlosion rapidly drilled upwards to the Manectric, attempting to throw it into the air. Great job, Typhlosion, you're doing great! Man, if only I sent Zorua instead of Mudkip. Damn!Leonard thought. He knew he was going down at last. Leonard couldn't do anything but fight. He knew he did some stupid mistakes that he would never regret. He just hoped that Typhlosion could manage without too much help.
