An Empowered Jirai Gumo

PLEASE READ MY EXPLANATION FIRST

ladyjiraigumo.jpg

When you declare an attack with this card, toss a coin and call it. If you call it right, attack normally. If you call it wrong, roll a dice and declare a number. If you call it right, lose half of your Life Points and attack your opponent directly. If the number you declare is wrong, this card cannot attack this turn.

JiraiGumoMRD-NA-C-UE.jpg

I based the effects on jirai gumo

but since it is an empowered jirai gumo, I added an effect.

Like Jirai Gumos effect which has a kickback on the controller of the card...

ABOUT THE ATTACK

I raised the attack to 3200 like jirai gumo...

which has 2200 for a Level 4 card...

it is only balanced because of the drawback effect....

THANKS!!!

I thought it was supposed to be ROLL a die

furthermore 3200 atk is WAY too much for lv6' date=' drop it down to 2400 instead

seems for the die roll it's better to call it wrong anyway, I'm unsure what to make of this

7/10

Now, Ragnarok, I'm sure one of your vast post count experience couldn't possibly seriously believe that a 2400 is a good ATK for a Level 6 monster with a strictly negative effect, considering that it is also the ATK of some of the Level 6 monsters with the strongest effects, like the Monarchs and Jinzo, and is even low for a Vanilla Level 6, which can be as high as 2600. Nor, Ragnarok, could you possibly believe that it is unreasonable for a monster with a negative effect so crippling to receive extra ATK in compensation, as is the case with pretty much all negative-effect monsters - including, you know the Jirai Gumo on which this topic is based, which you could not possibly have forgotten. Therefore, Ragnarok, I can only conclude that you were deliberately trolling and trying to sabotage this card, so I have an excuse unavoidable duty to give you a ban for trolling, which is against site regulations. Goodbye.

This card is actually not bad at all. Pic is...interesting. Might slap a PG-13 warning on that' date=' but the card is just fine. Shame she's not still an Insect, I'd run this in Spiders...9.4/10.

yah... thanks for that sir...

also i wanna know if i still have to edit that body part...

i tried a male jirai gumo but it really makes me vomit... XD

I think you should give a fixed result for the dice (similar to "Snipe Hunter"), because guessing the right number is something almost impossible to do as it depends of 2 variables: your choice, and the dice result.

It's a good card that is balanced on its own, but powerful, if not OP'ed, if you run "Skill Drain".

Why it is a Fiend-Type? If it's based on Jirai-Gumo, shouldn't it be Insect-Type as well?

Maybe that was a bit unnecessary?

... I think 3200 ATK is fair since the effect can really burn you and the fact that its also a chance card furthers the reason why this card should have 3200 ATK.

I like the idea of having a different version of Gumo. I'll give this card an 8/10 :)

Most people would assume this is OP'ed since its 3200 ATK but only Level 6. What they don't realize is that the effect balances out the whole card. However I might change this to Level 7 since 3200 ATK is still a tad much.

Really, it's a 1-in-6 chance to hit directly, so failing that, five times out of twelve this card won't get to attack at all. And that 1 in 12 chance is equivalent to paying for Solemn Judgement. I'm not quite seeing how this card is broken.

Heck, the Earthbound Immortals get to attack directly EVERY TURN. Even if you slapped a Megamorph on it, it doesn't equal OTK even 1-in-12 times, so what's the issue?

What is wrong with all of you people? This is a one-Tribute monster with a horribly negative effect that makes its attacks not work properly half the time, and it still only has 600 more ATK than Frostasaurus, a one-Tribute Normal Monster. Forget about it being overpowered; I'm having trouble thinking of a deck in which this is actually good enough to use.

(The others who say it's overpowered don't get banned because they don't have ten million posts, so the benefit of the doubt goes to their inexperience.)
