The Time Has Come

Recommended Posts

We will soon be able to syncro/fusion summon.

For those of you that haven't heard, there is a Stardust/Junk Warior fusion being released...and it would be very sad if they stopped there.

Discuss how you think the re-introduction of fusions combined with Syncros will change tournament play...and discuss how you plan to change your deck to support/combat these changes.

They -3/-4 themselves. I use a 1-4-1 removal card. ???? Profit

Miracle Synchro Fusion is a +0.

They still have to have had the monsters out.

...No...

Remove from play' date=' from your side of the field or your Graveyard, the Fusion Material Monsters listed on a Fusion Monster Card that includes 1 Synchro Monster as a Fusion Material Monster, and Special Summon that monster from your Extra Deck. (This Special Summon is treated as a Fusion Summon.) When this face-down card is destroyed by an opponent's card effect and sent to the Graveyard, draw 1 card.[/quote']

In order to use MSF, you need to have summoned/dumped the cards to the grave/have them out.

A Synchro is usually a -1. The other card needed for the FMM is still needed.

So to bring out the Synchro(let's say, in the best case scenario its in the grave when you have MSF) and the other FMM monster that died(yet again, a best case scenario).

You +0 in that case, however, you need to consider how you brought out the cards.

Let's say for example you used SDD and 1 Warrior Monster.

SDD at best is a -1(2 card sycnhro).

-1(SDD) + -1(MSF) + 1(The Monster you bring out = -1.

That is in a best case scenario.

You lost credibility here. Who -1s for a Synchro Summon? Most of the cards involved come out of the grave.

Further, you completely ignored the fact that something like Starlight Road throws you off, and that most Synchros generate advantage before you get to kill them anyways.

This =/

Not to mention your logic can be boiled down to, "synchros are a -1, therefore useless", which clearly isn't right.

Or you could be pro and use Gale Dogra.

In my opinion, this won't be a great idea. Its already so specific of fusion material monsters that even making a dedicated deck with a specific one would be too slow.

And in almost every case the cards are going to be -#'s, unless they have effects that make up for it like a second draw engine, or a constant SSing of monsters.

I guess it all really depends now how much support konami decides to give this idea.

You: The Time Has Come

Kaiba: Yeah' date=' so?

Yugi: That summoning is as easy as summoning full Exodia isn't it?

[/quote']

but its not difficult, just run super polymer.

perfect defense against starlight road.

Kaiba: Yeah, so?

Yugi: I understand, but Stardust is stronger isn't it?

super polymer can't be negated.

stardust fails
