Donsheo
Hello. I started to continue my own custom cards. Fields of Giants is a continue of my own set called Chronicles of the Sacred Swords, but this set will introduce a totally new type of monsters, called Giants. Thanks for HP Doom and Father Wolf. Sometimes I use they custom pictures. ----- What should we know about Giants?- Usually they are EARTH attributed.- They are big monsters, with big attack.- Giants supports only Giant monsters.- There are bigger Giants with more than 8 level. They mean the base of this Deck, but you need to Tribute more than 2 Giants to Tribute Summon them. -> Hard summoning, but useful effect.- Some lower level Giants will help to summon level 8 or higher Giants easily. ----- There will be also supports for:- "Snow" monsters (my own archetype)- "Blackwings"- "Lightsworns"- Warrior-Type- WIND- etc. (I'm opened for suggestions and advices) ----- The cards: Headless Giant: Peaceful Goliath: Tree Giant: Hulk the Giant Blacksmith: Alandar the Crusher: NEW Blackwing - Naoh the Monk Summoner Yeti Summoner Goliath Hollander the Destroyer ----- More cards are coming soon... T3RA PROWL3R
Nah, don't use Hulk as a name. Bad things about making your own types - There are no Support Cards for said type, granted you haven't made any - There are little amounts of monsters of that same type, so decks would be one sided and not very creative. - They aren't very effective compared to all of the other cards. Kuriboh, for example, could work better than these in their current state. ---- Try making them Beast Warrior instead (Hitotsu-Mi Giant is Beast Warrior). ragnarok1945
well it's your own personal archetype, so I'll let the fake types go Giant Blacksmith shouldn't have the word "Hulk" in its name. It's not green as for the last card, even with the cost to summon it, the draw power is still a little bit too much. Give it a small drawback for that 9/
Sander
I'll ignore the Fake-Types, even if they would be fine as Rock-Types etc. etc. Anyways, the cards are fine, nothing wrong with them, and I this there's nothing wrong with the OCG. Great cards, 8/10. Giant Blacksmith shouldn't have the word "Hulk" in its name. It's not green So? It doesn't have to be green, since "Hulk" also means big. Donsheo
What's the problem with Hulk? XD That's mean "really, very big" too, not just "Incredible Hulk". BTW, here some new cards: And a new support for BW:
T3RA PROWL3R
Giant Blacksmith shouldn't have the word "Hulk" in its name. It's not green So? It doesn't have to be green' date=' since "Hulk" also means big.[/quote'] So? It still reminds just about everybody about him, and it isn't very original. ragnarok1945
for the Destroyer it doesn't seem powerful enough, it needs to have another effect while on the field, given the cost to summon it Yeti on the other hand is just fine the way it is, so the new cards I'll give 8.2/
T3RA PROWL3R
The Blackwing monster doesn't say 'Effect' right above the effect. Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't there supposed to be 'Effect' after 'Tuner'?
Nitro Death
In peaceful goliath, player should be "their side of the". And "Summoner Yeti"s picture looks like a branch off picture of Maju Garzette, like it was a bigger one or somethingBtw, T3RA PROWL3R, your crystal card in signature has overused pic, what's funny 'cause i've seen it 6 or 7 times, and i've ended up using it myself. Lol.
Donsheo
Yup, you're right. Forgot to write it. BTW, some fixes: Summoner Yeti = Summoner Goliath
ragnarok1945
all right, then with the fixes I'll change my rate overall for this set to 9.2/
Sander
You don't need to have the / effect on a Tuner. Just check cards like Plaguespreader Zombie/ other Tuners that have been released in the game. Neither of them have the / effect. Same thing applies for Spirit monsters, really. Donsheo
Updated. Almost all cards are corrected, fixed or gained new effects. And you can find all cards in the first post. Plus, new card: Blackwing - Mesel the Scout
During the End Phase of a turn when this card was used for a Synchro Summon, you can draw 1 card. You can remove this card from play on the field to negate and destroy a Spell Card which targets 1 or more "Blackwing" monsters on the field. ragnarok1945
for the Scout, the OCG is just fine for it effect is simple but effective, I see no imbalance on it at all, so I'll give you the 9.9/10 for it
Donsheo
Thanks to everybody for the comments. 2 new cards for this set: Mountain Giant You can remove from play 2 cards or 1 Giant-Type monster from your hand to Special Summon this card. When Tribute Summoning a Giant-Type monster, you can treat this 1 monster as 2 Tributes. Remove from play this card instead of sending it to the Graveyard. Aetaliere, Lightsworn Guardian You can reveal this card to send the top 1 card from your Deck to your Graveyard. Then add this card to your Deck from your hand, then shuffle your Deck. When this card is sent to the Graveyard from your side of the field, once per duel, you can Special Summon it from your Graveyard.
ragnarok1945
Aetaliere looks nothing like a fairy and just to Special Summon it once per duel seems a bit too rare, I'd allow it more chances than that 8/
Donsheo
Ok, thanks. The main idea why I used "Fairy" is that she is an Angel, and Angels are Fairys. But this one is looks like as a warrior, not as a "fairy". Modified: Aetaliere, Lightsworn Guardian You can reveal this card to send the top 1 card from your Deck to your Graveyard. Then add this card to your Deck from your hand, then shuffle your Deck. When this card is sent to the Graveyard, add it to your hand. And something interesting: Gladiator Synchron This card cannot attack. This card is unaffected by Spell Cards. This card is treated as a "Gladiator Beast" monster while it is face-up on the field. Gladiator Warrior "Gladiator Synchron" + 1 or more Non-Tuner "Gladiator Beast" monstersThis card is unaffected by Spell Cards. This card is treated as a "Gladiator Beast" monster while it is face-up on the field. If this card battles, by returning it from the field to the Extra Deck at the end of the Battle Phase, you can Special Summon 1 "Gladiator Synchron" and 1 "Gladiator Beast" monster from your Deck. Donsheo
Darnadon, the Armored Giant This card cannot be Special Summoned. To Tribute Summon this card, you must Tribute 5 Giant-Type monsters. This card cannot be destroyed by battle, and this card is unaffected by Trap Cards. You can Tribute this card to Special Summon 2 Giant-Type monsters from your Graveyard to your side of the field. Crystal Beast Quartz Serpent You can Special Summon this card by removing from play 5 "Crystal Beast" cards from your Graveyard. You can send 1 "Crystal Beast" card from your Spell & Trap Card Zone to negate an effect of a Spell or Trap Card. If this card is destroyed while it is in a Monster Card Zone, you can place it face-up in your Spell & Trap Card Zone as a Continuous Spell Card instead of sending it to the Graveyard. Growth of Nature Remove from play 1 Beast-Type monster from your Deck. Then draw 2 cards. You can only gain this effect once per turn. Krax, Protector of Forest This card is treated as a Normal Monster while face-up on the field or in the Graveyard. While this card is face-up on the field, you can Normal Summon it to have it be treated as an Effect Monster with this effect:* This card can attack twice during the same Battle Phase. Skull Synchron When this card is Normal Summoned, you can Special Summon 1 "Skull Synchron" from your Graveyard to your side of the field. Skull Dragon 2 "Skull Synchron" + 1 or more non-Tuner monstersThis card can attack your opponent's Life Points directly. When this card inflicts Battle Damage, increase its ATK by 500 for every Zombie-Type monsters in your Graveyard.
ragnarok1945
for Growth of Nature, it's still on the OPed end because you can use ANY Beast-Type monster if you made it more of a specific Beast-Type, it'd balance out better 9/
Donsheo
Thanks. Here are my latest ones: Thanks for the comments. Some new cards, critics are welcomed: DINOSAUR-SUPPORT Owooti, Kroko Mage During your Standby Phase, you can remove from play any cards from your hand. Then during the End Phase of the same turn when you discarded cards, draw the same number of cards you discarded from your Deck. Tyranno, Kroko Rex This card cannot be Special Summoned. This card is unaffected by Quick-Play Spell Cards. When this card attacks or attacked by a monster, remove from play that monster after the Damage Calculation. Moltu, Kroko Warrior This card is unaffected by Spell and Trap Cards. When this card sent to the Graveyard, remove from play it instead and inflict 1000 damage to yourself. SNOW-SUPPORT (P.S.: My own archetype.) Mind-Freezer Mage This card is treated as a "Snow" monster. When this card is Summoned, you can Tribute 1 monster on your side of the field to inflict 1000 damage in each player's Life Points, and each player must discard 1 card from their hands. This card is unaffected by "Snow" cards' effects. Tamer of Snow Dragon This card is treated as a "Snow" monster. This card cannot be used for Synchro Summoning "Snow Queen". You can remove from play this card from your side of the field to Special Summon 1 "Snow Dragon" from Graveyard. MONARCH-SUPPORT Arkhon, Armageddon Monarch When this card is Tribute Summoned, you can Tribute any cards on your side of the field, then your opponent must send as many cards as you Tributed from the field to the Graveyard.
