That's what you call playing favorites. It is a basic business strategy, honestly I do not see why Kaiba Corp (Konami) does not sell singles of Yugioh cards. Either that or had its ruling changed. Are you kidding me? The range of this card is ridiculous, and it turns almost every deck in the game into a pile of fail. I can't believe it's been untouched for even this long. I still don't understand how that works when you can choose not to summon it, or about the fact you can use it when you have no stardust in your extra deck to summon. If a card has a chance of special summoning, then Royal Oppression can touch it. One reason why the card is amazing, and makes the cost of 800 nearly nothing. Corrected Text:"Either player can pay 800 Life Points to negate the Special Summon of a monster(s), or the activation of an effect that would Special Summon a monster(s), and destroy the card(s)."Notice how I said "effect", not "card". Wait, but now I don't think this can negate a summon through something like Starlight Road. Maybe "...the activation or application of an effect..." ?
