Zenharu
You need Junk Archer. You also need One for One. Cyber Valley too. I personally don't like the above list, mostly because it's just a pile of broken cards featuring Junk Synchron, and hoping it'll synergize. And I wasn't really upset or anything... That is just the most fun way to deal with people on the net... It makes things more interesting... IRS has actually become more playable, in a way since, synchros have been out. A lot of decks will often times have nothing but a synchro monster out, which means a free IRS. If they do have a monster out, a lot of decks will often times run only 2 of a lot of their monsters, so they don't really gain as much advantage as people like to believe. I have been playing this deck IRL for the past month, excluding Junk Destroyer, and have had nothing but success with it. Yes, I do actually play meta... Though that does get boring sometimes... It's annoying when no one at your locals will build a deck for fun...

Since March I haven't played competitively, I'm sure you can guess why. Now I just have my fun deck. I didn't say your deck list was bad either, in fact it's very good, I was just saying that I didn't like it because it WAS purely meta. When I help out a deck, I assume it's for fun unless stated otherwise, especially if the poster is a new member.

Sure, it has some splashable cards that should go in any deck, or cards like DAD and Chaos Sorcerer, which should go in any deck that can meet the requirements, but that doesn't make a deck anywhere near what most would consider meta... Hell, when was the last time you saw Tuningware in meta? "Hoping it'll synergize", implies that there is a lack of synergy, if a deck has a lack of synergy, it is bad... My deck does not lack synergy. Of course, for all you know, I could just be some horrible player promoting himself over the net, not having any clue of what he is talking about. Thank you for the constructive help. Anacondas1 Sure, Quickdraw lets you synchro fast, but all you are getting out of it is shitty beat sticks... Snipe is actually amazing in this deck. It provides extra spell, trap, and monster destruction that gets around stardust and has multiple ways of being searched. On top of that, it allows me to pitch cards to the grave if I need them there. The discard cost is laughable due to the amount of hand advantage the deck allows you to gain. You will often be discarding 2-3 cards at the end of each turn. IRS actually doesn't allow your opponent to gain very much advantage, while you, on the other hand, will often gain a +3-5 of of it... Besides, whatever advantage they do gain is quickly taken away. Often times, your opponent will have nothing but a Synchro on the field. With only that, they can't pull anything from their deck, hand, or, at least most of the time, grave. Many of the cards you are listing as, "Key components", are actually crap cards that get in the way. De-Synchro at 3 is very cloggy. I can understand not having the money for some cards, but quite a few of those are only a couple of bucks... Hell, I wouldn't spend any money on them, I would just trade for them. Anywho, I recommend you run something very close to what I have. It has been winning me plenty of locals (They play meta), and is much faster than any of the decks in the meta right now. Zenharu
How is Mind Control too expensive? It comes common... I do agree, Quickdraw is a plenty fine card. So what, you can only get Junk Synchros, but the Junk Synchros are VERY good. (ie. Junk Destroyer and Junk Archer) But if you don't have the GOOD Junk Synchros, then you shouldn't be trying to run this deck. There's a thin line between Bad and Fun. You're leaning towards bad right now. 2 De-Synchro is the norm, 3 is fine. If it clogs then take one out, but if 3 works then 3 works. Don't COMEPLETELY focus on Quickdraw, because Godzilla is right, you WILL need to venture into the other Synchros for a real toolbox. Dupe is fine, but you should probably try and see how IRS works, it is a very interesting idea. If you don't have most of the synchros Godzilla listed, then you really need to either get them, or build a deck that doesn't completely rely on synchros for any kind of win condition. Besides, whatever advantage they do gain is quickly taken away. Not neccesarily, many times that I use machine dupe, or what would be IRS, my opponent usually has decent monsters on the field.. Often times, your opponent will have nothing but a Synchro on the field. With only that, they can't pull anything from their deck, hand, or, at least most of the time, grave. I'm fighting Galdiator Beasts. Not so much of an advantage at the moment Many of the cards you are listing as, "Key components", are actually crap cards that get in the way.Pot of avarice isn't key, I just like it, but all of the other cards can help to get my win condition out a lot quicker. De-Synchro at 3 is very cloggy. Not when it is my main draw engine, which can pretty easily allow me to draw up to 12 cards I can understand not having the money for some cards, but quite a few of those are only a couple of bucks... It has been winning me plenty of locals (They play meta), and is much faster than any of the decks in the meta right now.I am only running this deck because it is a cheap IRL deck for me. There is no way I can get enough to run your deck - unfortunatly [spoiler=Zenharu]How is Mind Control too expensive? It comes common...Don't have' date=' no money to get it - simples[/b'] I do agree, Quickdraw is a plenty fine card. So what, you can only get Junk Synchros, but the Junk Synchros are VERY good. (ie. Also, I am fine with my synchro layout at the moment, as I know it is a while before I get any more - and that will probably be Junk Destroyer when it comes out. Junk synchron and Nitro synchron are there to give me access to other synchros If you don't have most of the synchros Godzilla listed, then you really need to either get them, or build a deck that doesn't completely rely on synchros for any kind of win condition.Mine focuses on synchro's for the win condition - but it focuses on the ones that I have which I am happy with Thank you again for the advice Anacondas1
