Yup it hit the boarder of USA and Mexico and it is the strongest in 18 years, so you see that they know for sometime that a earthquake will hit thier. Also this is the 5th earthquake, their was one in Vancouver 2 weeks ago.

@Supernov, Japan has more earthquakes in this world then you can thown a ball at a car

I didn't want to move to Japan to avoid earthquakes, it's just been my dream to move to Japan and learn their language.

Why didn't I hear about it?

Ok it was a small earthquake like 3.0 or 4.0

I don't know if small earthquakes count...

Yep, 2012 is real guys. Better live out you counted days. All these earthquakes mean the world is giving up the fight.[/lateraprilfools]

I find it very funny how many earthquakes are coming around, when usually you don't ever hear about it. I wonder why so many earthquakes are occurring.

It's cali, that whole STATE is on a fault line. Shouldn't be too surprising, and the houses are built to handle quakes so it's all good.

Still, I hope no one got injured >_<"...

Actually' date=' earthquakes are happening constantly, and when I say constantly it's literally constant. Every millisecond the earth plates are shifting, thus creating earthquakes that you can't sense. Bigger ones you can feel are few.

Japan has a earthquake every month.

You're such an optimist. <3

Basically my post, although the entire state is not on a fault line. The eastern parts of Cali are relatively safe, but can still get hit for minimum damage (sounds like Pokemon, really).

I laugh at any idiot who said 2012 in this thread. Too bad I said it, but am not an idiot. :D

Ehh, it happens. Is this god attempting to destroy the world to teach us a lesson? ...no. We've had earthquakes before, but people get more paranoid because they are idiots and know that a prediction of 2012 is swimming around.
