I'm fairly sure saying "God" gives it a Christian connotation. Because you are outright saying you are referring to a monotheistic religion (of which three exist), because of the singularity of the noun. If you were talking about Islam, you'd refer to the god as "Allah", to be more specific in terms of your statement. I don't know about the Christianity/Judaism split, but I still think Christianity should be considered a sect of Judaism. So when saying "God", it's inferred (or should be) that you are talking about one of those two religions.

 

And you could easily be scared of his/her voice. :/
