1. Costs are paid before the activation of a card, not after.

 

2. You never get a "refund" on a cost.

 

Costs are paid before activation. So to activate “Seven Tools of the Bandit”, or the effect of “Cannon Soldier”, or play “Premature Burial”, you pay the Life Points or Tribute the monster before you activate the card or use the effect. (In other words, you pay the cost then announce your intention to use the card.) This includes flipping the card, for a Trap, or playing it from your hand, for a Spell Card. (SOURCE! IF THIS WAS A COST, than where is the intention of an effect? There is nothing following the supposed Cost, so that only means that The discarding of the 2 cards is the EFFECT!

Absolutely brilliant card. A n00b would think an absolute waste of a card, but absolute brilliance. It's the COMPLETE opposite of Pot Of Greed, but I think it will start off in the Limited list. Definitely perfect for Zombie, Dragon (RODL), Dark World, perhaps even E-Heros, for Miracle Fusion.

 

However, following to Slime's point, it is a rather costly card. But costly cards are only used by rich people right? :D

 

You can use this card only if you know how to. And really, the popularity of Dark World, Zombie, and Dragons are losing out.

This argument is pointless. Dark world can't even win locals. Your better off Running SS with only commons. Its a sad truth.

 

It doesn't matter, its a -1 if you bring out 2 Goldd, and then what? torrential, Macro cosmos, if its not a cost, then macro cosmos can be chained to it, thus creating a -3.

 

Seriously, cheerful coffin is better for dark world, which isn't a good deck type to begin with.

 

This argument ends now, it is an effect, so it works with dark world, but its still a terrible card due to its limited playability in a not very good deck, AND that it can be easily sided against.

in yugioh lose hand advantage is almost a sin... ok, you send 2 cards, summon DW monsters... and then?? mirror force, bottomless, or vortex on the next turn and you stay defenseless and completely with a dumb face that says "how i could lose?? my strategy was flawless!!"... well, wake up and smell the coffee... your strategy was a fail...

this could also work with Foolish Burial and Macro Cosmos, this coul dmake for a great OTK Deck with the Necroface off of GLAS, I think this card would be limited or banned, but it is an amazing card.
