I do Shotokan Karate.

don't like it personally..but nice that you're doing it..:D

I suggest you to see few takewon-do vids or to go to a taekwon-do training..:D maybe you will learn something..xD

 

 

I don't mean to be rude, but what is more or less than Karate from Taekwondo? They are practicly the same thing.

Tae-Kwon-Do is a Korean martial art founded as a means of unarmed combat, Karate is Japanese, I don't know the origins of Karate, but I know that it branches out into several styles.

that what he said but there is a lot of differences..yes taekwon-do has some things from karate like stands but they are adjusted to the natural human movement...karate's main movement is straight line but in taekwon-do it's curved line..
