Shaco
Card Lore: When this card is Summoned, except when Special Summoned from the Graveyard, halve this card's original ATK. EDIT: For some reason, it won't remove the second effect that I decided to omit, so just ignore that. Fixed. Shaco
Same with Barbaros and Fusilier, just a bit more attack, and this guy has a stronger limitation on him for play without SD.

Shaco
Then the difference between acceptable and overpowered is 400 ATK? (If we're only observing his abuse with Skill Drain)
TableCloth358
well his ATK would be 1700 right?
Shaco
well his ATK would be 1700 right? Correct. "the difference between acceptable and overpowered is 400 ATK?" By that, I meant comparing this guy to Beast King Barbaros in their abuse of Skill Drain. Beast King can be summoned without tribute, and would have 3000 ATK if used with Skill Drain. http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Beast_King_Barbaros
TableCloth358
Oh and plus when it's summoned withough a tribute its atk is 1900? this is only 1700. anoter question why is it a Light Zombie-Type monster?!

I chose Zombie because I figured that's where he would get the most use outside of a Skill Drain deck, as they do quite a of Graveyard Summoning. I chose Light because the more common deck that I've seen utilize Skill Drain was "Gemini City", which used mostly Light Gemini monsters (Along with Barbaros) so it could take advantage of Honest. (And I just like seeing contradicting cards, like a FIRE Aqua-type monster)

Shaco
Oh okay cool lol that works fo me. Hey your card Abvious Flaw effects this card! Huh, I hadn't planned on that ... I wonder if... Ha, not only would it affect this card, this card could potentially benefit from it. When this card is summoned, its effect would activate to halve it's attack first, then "Obvious Flaw" would attempt to switch its ATK and DEF. Chain 1 - BenedictusChain 2 - Obvious Flaw Since chains resolve in reverse, Benedictus' Defense would become 3400, then he would try to halve his ATK (Which is now 0). Then you'd just have to activate any card that would switch him to Defense mode, and you've got yourself a level 4, 3400 Defensive wall. I hadn't created these cards on the same train of thought, so it's a little odd that they would work well together, but it's pretty awesome. Thanks for bringing this to my attention, Tablecloth. Lord Smeagle
I'm vaguely reminded of those weird liches from D&D who were actually good Elven mages. Effect is pretty good, lulzy with Forbidden Chalice. Interestingly enough, this card's very simple effect is actually quite appealing and effective. Every aspect of the game is well-tailored to the metagame, and this card would be wicked awesome in Zombiesworns... ...Or it would have been 1 or 2 banlists ago before the massive Zombie-Lightsworn nerf! 9.9/10.
