Scatty
Versatility: Citation needed Wait a minute, you actually want me to prove that earthquakes of 3 or more on the Richter scale do not happen every day? Seriously now, what can be easier to prove than that?
Twin Seed
Oh, everyday, must've missed that part, since you said in the past hundred years >.> And you said two to begin with...
Scatty
Two being the intensity of the earthquake on the Richter scale. Though I could've stated that clearer. But indeed, Jessy (Iaşi) Romania is pretty much free of noticeable quakes. And the last one that had over 2 was a hundred years ago.

Kitty
It's not surprising really. Humans have been destroying Nature for years (Polluting Lake, Destroying Forests, Killing Animals, etc.)It's no surprise that all this is happening now. -Berserker-
Mother Nature is messing with us?It's like when a teen says to the parents "Don't mess with my life!", but the teen himself messed with the parents lives when he was born... CinnamonStar
That's exactly what 2012 New Age philosophy is predicting. Lots of natural catastrophes because we're entering the new age. So at least it proves some people right. But on the other side there have always been weird weather changes, even in the Middle Ages where people didn't have much to destroy nature that heavily. But seriously, everyday I think more and more that this planet has always been crappy.>_> No one can force me to accept and like things, I know it sounds evil but that's how it works.I have a Gnostic way of the world so it's just meh. ._. Great Unclean One: VK
Guise, this is just natural. Don't worry. Now, please wait here while I hijack a space ship, and go to a remote planet with my base of operations on it, all the while you all are doomed on this planet. (Hint about the planet, it's big, and it's in our solar system.)
Grunt Issun
why do so many people feel the need to mess with nature to save us?and why do they all asume that we caused global warming? "Oh crap, I think we might have done somthing wrong when we used that can of bug spray""what do you mean?""I think the globe is getting warmer""Oh that sounds totaly unnatural and reversable""Yeah now we just have to ban all gasoline, bug killer, hairspray, and any other flamable objects." ~three days later~ "HOLY CRAP THERE GOING TO KILL US ALL""RIOT RIOT RIOT""We just need to take a differantt aproch""mabye we can use technolagy to reverse the effects of GW" *BOOM*

PenguinZ
mother nature is not messing with us, we are messing with it, and as jayjack posted a Calvin and Hobbs strip in the "when will the world end?" thread I will leave you with a Garfield strip showing what happens when we mess with mother nature: now put that on a much, much bigger scale.
