Flamvell Monster

Okay at the moment this is the best name I could think of but I'm hoping to think of something more original. I tried to fit with the Flamvell's playing style so hopefully I did.

[spoiler=Lore]1 Tuner + 1 or more non-Tuner monsters

Once per turn by removing from play 1 monster with 200 or less DEF you can destroy 1 Face-Up monster your opponent controls. If this card destroys a monster with this effect it gains 200 ATK. This card cannot attack the same turn you use it's effect.

If a Synchro Monster is generic, it is bad for the game.

This Synchro Monster is generic.

Therefore, it's bad for the game.

 

If a Synchro Monster is not generic, it is not bad for the game.

If a Synchro Monster is bad for the game, then it is generic.

If a Synchro Monster is not bad for the game, then it is not generic.

 

Counterexample: Gaia Knight is not bad for the game.

 

New conditional: If a Synchro Monster is generic and has an effect, it is bad for the game.

 

Good ol' Geometry.

 

But still, I wouldn't leave it at generic.

De-Synchro abuse!!!! Yeah, that's about it. Blow up 1 monster, it gains 200 ATK, then it can't attack. And you lost a Flamvell target for Rekindling.

 

I would rather use Smashing Ground and save my Synchro Summon for something that can attack.

 

I would not Synchro Summon this before Stardust Dragon, Red Dragon Archfiend, or Thought Ruler Archfiend unless I was up against... some wonky monsters. Colossal Fighter and Thought Ruler Archfiend. Yeah, they die to this. What's up?

 

Pick a level that isn't already dominated by broken things. <_<

The effect is so you gain ATK each turn while controling the field. It wasn't meant to take the place of any of the great lvl 8's that have become staples. Its just a card to complete the flamvell set. Why do people want effects that win the game easily? Why not work for your win instead of saying hey we both have the same deck lets see who draws the right cards first.

What if you do not have "Smashing ground"? and if sychros are supposed to give you an advantage... at least there is a condition that is removing a monster with 200 DEF and you cannot attack

It follows the theme of Flamvells and it has flamvell in its name. It doesn't need anything else to make it a flamvell card.

 

But if it's generic, anyone can use it.

It's a 3000 Beater that gains ATK. Abusable in Synchro Cat.

Fix it.
