Rock-Type Support [Fossil Fusions and More]

I've been making cards for some time now while I've been away, and I just now got the nerve to come on and post them. Any of you who (somehow) remember and know me might also remember that I love defense strategies, and that Rock-Type monsters are one of my favorites. So, I decided to make the following cards which follow along that general line.

 

Near the bottom I also made anime-only cards, changing them up a bit in the process.

Elephant Statue of Destruction

Earth/Rock/3/1500/0

During your End Phase, you may discard this card and another Rock-Type Monster in your hand If you do, decrease the ATK of 1 monster on your opponent’s side of the field by 1000. This effect is treated as if it were activated by your opponent.

 

Cannon Golem

Fire/Rock/4/1000/1800

Once per turn, you may tribute 1 Rock-Type monster on your side of the field to increase this card’s ATK by the DEF of the Tributed monster until the End Phase of the turn.

 

Catapult Golem

Earth/Rock/4/1000/2000

Once per turn, you may tribute 1 monster on your side of the field to destroy 1 face-up monster with ATK equal to or lower than the DEF of the tributed monster. If the Tributed monster was Rock-Type, you may destroy a face-down Spell or Trap Card instead.

 

Iron Synchron

Earth/Rock/Tuner/2/600/1200

When this card is used as Synchro Material for a Synchro Summon of a Rock-Type Synchro Monster, you may switch the ATK and DEF of all monsters on your side of the field with less than 1000 ATK.

 

Iron Warrior

Earth/Rock/Synchro/7/2000/2500

“Iron Synchron” + 1 or more non-Tuner monsters

While this card is face-up on the field, Defense Position monsters cannot be destroyed by card effects controlled by your opponent. Once per turn, you may switch the ATK and DEF of 1 monster on the field until the End Phase of the turn.

 

Defense Barrier

Field Spell Card

When a Rock-Type Monster is Flip Summoned or Special Summoned, place 1 Protection Counter on that monster. If a monster with a Protection Counter would be destroyed by battle or a card effect, remove 1 Protection Counter to negate the effect that would destroy that monster.

 

Phalanx Maneuver

Continuous Spell Card

Monsters you control with higher DEF than their ATK may attack while in face-up Defense Position. In addition, increase the ATK of monsters on your side of the field by 100 for each Defense Position monster you control.

 

Aztec Golem

Earth/Rock/4/0/2300

While there are 4 other Defense Position monsters on your side of the field, switch this card’s ATK and DEF. When this card is destroyed as a result of battle, you may add 1 Rock-Type monster with 100 ATK or less other than “Aztec Golem” from your Deck to your hand.

 

Avalanche Guard

Earth/Rock/4/1000/2500

When this Defense Position monster is attacked by a monster with less ATK than this card’s DEF, instead of inflicting Battle Damage, inflict damage to your opponent’s Life Points equal to the attacking monster’s level x100.

 

Eruption Golem

Fire/Rock/4/1600/2000

During each of your End Phases while this card is in face-up Defense Position, place 1 Eruption Counter on it. Increase this card’s ATK and DEF by 100 for each Eruption Counter. When this card is destroyed as a result of battle, inflict 200 damage to your opponent’s Life Points for each Eruption Counters on this card.

 

Tablet of Attraction

Earth/Rock/3/0/2300

By sending this face-up card to the Graveyard during the End Phase of the turn it was flipped face-up, select 1 monster on your opponent’s side of the field. That monster cannot be Tributed or used for a Synchro Summon, and must declare an attack during your opponent’s next turn.

 

Tablet of Creation

Earth/Rock/3/0/2200

By sending this face-up card to the Graveyard during the End Phase of the turn it was flipped face-up, you may Special Summon 1 Level 4 or lower monster with 2000 DEF or higher in your Graveyard in face-up Attack Position.

 

Tablet of Destruction

Earth/Rock/3/0/2200

By sending this face-up card to the Graveyard during the End Phase of the turn it was flipped face-up, you may destroy the monster on your opponent’s side of the field with the lowest ATK and inflict damage to their Life Points equal to its level x200.

 

Charge Cannon

Continuous Spell Card

During each of your End Phases, inflict 250 damage to your opponent’s Life Points for each Defense Position monster on your side of the field.

 

Field of Scarecrows

Quick-Play Spell

Special Summon up to 5 “Scarecrow Token”s (Earth/Plant/1/0/0) in Defense Position. These tokens cannot be Tributed or used to Synchro Summon a Synchro Monster, and are destroyed during the End Phase of the turn.

 

Shield Rush

Normal Trap Card

Activate only during your opponent’s Standby Phase while all monsters on your side of the field are in Defense Position. Destroy a number of Attack Position monsters on your opponent’s side of the field up to the number of monsters you control.

 

Ancient Spirit Possession

Continuous Trap Card

Remove from play a number of Rock-Type monsters in your Graveyard whose combined Levels equal the Level of a face-up Attack Position monster on your opponent’s side of the field. Gain control of that monster, and it is switched to face-up Defense Position. When that monster is removed from the field, destroy this card. When this card is destroyed, or removed from the field by the effect of a card you control, return control of the monster to your opponent.

 

Ancient Spirit Resurrection

Normal Trap Card

Remove from play Rock-Type monsters in your Graveyard whose combined Levels equal the Level of a Rock-Type monster in either player’s Graveyard. Special Summon that monster.

 

Wrath of Ancient Spirits

Normal Spell Card

Inflict damage to your opponent’s Life Points equal to the number of removed from play Rock-Type monsters x300. You may decrease this amount by increments of 1000 to destroy 1 card on your opponent’s side of the field each.

Uluru’s Guardian

Earth/Rock/4/0/2300

If this card is targeted by an opponent's card effect, you can send 1 face-up Spell or Trap Card you control to the Graveyard to negate that cards effect until the End Phase.

 

Defense Wall

Earth/Rock/4/0/2100

This card may be Normal Summoned in Defense Position if you control no other monsters. While this card is face-up on the field, monsters you control other than “Defense Wall” cannot be attacked.

 

Drawler

Earth/Rock/3/0/0

When this card is Normal Summoned, you may shuffle any number of cards in your hand back into your Deck. This card gains 600 ATK and DEF for each card shuffled into your Deck this way. If this card destroys an Attack Position monster by battle, send the destroyed monster to the bottom of the Deck instead of the Graveyard.

 

Gate Blocker

Earth/Rock/4/0/2000

While your opponent controls more monsters, you may Normal Summon this card in face-up Defense Position. If a card on your side of the field would be destroyed by your opponent’s card effect, destroy this card instead.

 

Ancient Giant

Earth/Rock/5/2500/2100

This card’s attacks cannot be negated. If this card does not attack during your turn, you must pay 500 Life Points during your End Phase.

(Not really support, but I wanted to remake it anyway)

 

Stone Giant

Earth/Rock/3/400/2000

When this card Is Summoned, you may change the Battle Position of 1 monster on your side of the field from face-down Defense Position to Face-up Attack Position. That monster is treated as having been Flip Summoned.

 

Ancient Tome

Continuous Spell Card

During each of your Standby Phases, you may replace the top card of your deck with a Level 4 or higher Rock-Type monster in your hand. During each of your End Phases, you must pay 500 Life Points.

 

Ancient Gate

Continuous Spell Card

Once per turn, when a face-down Defense Position monster on your side of the field would be destroyed by a card effect, it is not. While there is an “Ancient Key” on your side of the field, you may send this face-up card to the Graveyard to Special Summon 1 level 5 or higher Rock-Type monster from your hand or Deck.

 

Ancient Key

Continuous Spell Card

Special Summon 2 Level 4 or lower Rock-Type monsters from your Deck with 500 ATK or less. Those monsters cannot be used as a Tribute. When those monsters are removed from the field, destroy this card. When this card is removed from the field, destroy those cards.

Fossil Bird

Earth/Rock/3/1300/1300

When this card is Normal Summoned, you may add 1 “Polymerization” or “Fossil Fusion” from your Deck or Graveyard to your hand.

 

Fossil Fang

Earth/Rock/4/2000/100

This card cannot be Normal Summoned. When this card in face-down Defense Position is selected as an attack target, you may discard 1 card from your hand to change this card to face-up Attack Position.

(A remake of a card I made for a Fanfic, which was called “Desert Gator”)

 

--- I might end up changing them from specific monster Types to specific monster Attributes.

 

Fossil Warrior Skullking

Earth/Rock/Fusion/7/2800/1300

1 Rock-Type monster + Level 6 or higher Warrior-Type monster [Or EARTH]

This card can only be Fusion Summoned by using the above Fusion Material Monsters. During your Battle Phase, if your opponent controls a monster after this card's first attack, this card can attack once again in a row. This card inflicts piercing damage during its first attack each turn.

 

Fossil Bonebrawler

Earth/Rock/Fusion/6/2300/1900

1 Rock-Type monster + 1 Level 4 or higher Warrior-Type monster [Or EARTH]

This card can only be Fusion Summoned by using the above Fusion Material Monsters. When this card destroys an opponent’s monster as a result of battle, equip the destroyed monster to this card as an Equip Spell Card. This card gains ATK and DEF equal to the Level of the equipped monster x100.

 

Fossil Skullpawn

Earth/Rock/Fusion/4/2000/800

1 Level 4 or lower Rock-Type monster + 1 Warrior-Type monster [Or EARTH]

This card can only be Fusion Summoned by using the above Fusion Material Monsters. When this card declares an attack on a face-up monster, your opponent cannot activate Trap Cards until after Damage Calculations.

 

Fossil Machine Skullwagon

Earth/Rock/Fusion/6/1700/1400

1 Rock-Type monster + 1 Level 4 or higher Machine-Type monster [Or FIRE]

This card can only be Fusion Summoned by using the above Fusion Material Monsters. When this card destroys a monster as a result of battle, a face-up monster on your side of the field that has not attacked this turn may attack your opponent’s Life Points directly

 

Fossil Dragon Skullgar

Earth/Rock/Fusion/6/2500/0

1 Rock-Type monster + 1 Level 4 or lower Dinosaur-Type monster [Or EARTH]

.This card can only be Fusion Summoned by using the above Fusion Material Monsters. If this card was Summoned by “Fossil Fusion”, increase the ATK and DEF of all monsters on your side of the field by 300.

 

Fossil Dino Skullgios

Earth/Rock/Fusion/8/3500/0

1 Rock-Type monster in your Graveyard + 1 Level 8 or higher monster in your opponent’s Graveyard

This card can only be Fusion Summoned by using the above Fusion Material Monsters and “Fossil Fusion”. When this card battles a monster, you may switch that monster’s ATK and DEF during damage calculation only. Once per turn, if this card would be destroyed, you may discard 1 Rock-Type monster instead.

 

Fossil Fiend Skullshadow

Earth/Rock/Fusion/7/2900/1100

1 Level 5 or higher Rock-Type monster + 1 Level 4 or higher Fiend-Type monster [Or DARK]

This card can only be Fusion Summoned by using the above Fusion Material Monsters. If this card was Summoned by “Fossil Fusion”, this card cannot be destroyed by Effect Monster effects.

 

Fossil Flesheater

Earth/Rock/Fusion/5/2250/955

1 Rock-Type monster + 1 Level 4 or higher Zombie-Type monster [Or DARK]

This card can only be Fusion Summoned by using the above Fusion Material Monsters. When this card destroys a monster as a result of battle, remove that monster from play. If this card was Summoned by “Fossil Fusion”, your opponent cannot Special Summon monsters removed from play.

 

Fossil Beast Skullbear

Earth/Rock/Fusion/4/1800/2000

1 Level 4 or lower Rock-Type monster + 1 Beast-Type monster [Or EARTH]

This card can only be Fusion Summoned by using the above Fusion Material Monsters. When this card declares an attack, increase its ATK by 500 during the damage step only. If this card was Summoned by “Fossil Fusion”, your opponent cannot Special Summon monsters from their deck.

 

Fossil Protector Bonegiver

Earth/Rock/Fusion/7/2500/2800

1 Level 5 or higher Rock-Type monster + 1 Fairy-Type monster [Or LIGHT]

This card can only be Fusion Summoned by using the above Fusion Material Monsters. Once per turn, you may increase your Life Points by the ATK of 1 face-up monster on your opponent’s side of the field. If this card was Summoned by “Fossil Fusion”, damage to your Life Points by card effects become 0.

 

Fossil Dino Featherblade

Earth/Rock/Fusion/6/2300/1700

1 Rock-Type monster + 1 Level 4 or higher Winged-Beast-Type monster [Or WIND]

This card can only be Fusion Summoned by using the above Fusion Material Monsters. When this card’s Battle Position is changed, destroy 1 Spell or Trap Card on the field. If this card was Summoned by “Fossil Fusion”, destroy 1 Spell or Trap Card your opponent controls.

 

Fossil Fusion

Normal Spell Card

Select 1 "Fossil" Fusion Monster in your Extra Deck. Remove the monsters listed as Fusion Material Monsters on that Fusion Monster from you and your opponent's Graveyards from play, and Special Summon that Fusion Monster. (This Special Summon is treated as a Fusion Summon.)

 

(((Ruling: Must use an opponent's monster and your own monster when using this card. You cannot choose only you or only your opponent's Graveyard for this effect.)))

 

Dowsing Bomb

Normal Spell Card

Discard 1 Monster Card from your hand. Remove 1 Monster Card in your opponent’s Graveyard from play. Destroy 1 monster on the field of the same Type and has a Level equal to or lower than that of the monster removed by this effect.

 

Bone Inspection

Normal Spell Card

Declare 1 Type and 1 Level. Your opponent sends 1 monster with both the declared Type and Level from his/her hand or Deck to the Graveyard.

 

Fossil Hammer

Normal Spell Card

Destroy the monster with the highest Level your opponent controls. Your opponent then selects 1 monster from their Graveyard that has a lower Level than the destroyed monster's and Special Summons it.

Fossil Fish Skelefin

Earth/Rock/Fusion/7/3000/1700

1 Rock-Type monster + 1 Level 5 or higher Fish-Type monster [Or WATER]

This card can only be Fusion Summoned by using the above Fusion Material Monsters. If this card was not Special Summoned by "Fossil Fusion", when this card is targeted by a card effect, destroy it automatically. While this card is face-up on the field, decrease the Level of monsters in your hand by 1.

 

Fossil Dino Petrafer

Earth/Rock/Fusion/6/2000/2500

1 Rock-Type monster in your Graveyard + 1 Level 6 or higher monster in your opponent's Graveyard

This card can only be Fusion Summoned by using the above Fusion Material Monsters and "Fossil Fusion". This card can attack your opponent's Life Points directly. Twice per turn while this card is in face-up Defense Position, you may negate the effect of 1 card that would destroy a monster on your side of the field and destroy that card.

 

Time Stream

Normal Spell Card

Pay half of your Life Points, and select 1 "Fossil" Fusion Monster you control. Return the selected monster to the Extra Deck, and Special Summon 1 "Fossil" Fusion Monster 2 levels higher from your Extra Deck. (This Special Summon is treated as a Fusion Summon by the effect of "Fossil Fusion".)

 

Fossil Sampler

Earth/Rock/2/0/1000

When this card is Normal Summoned, select 1 Level 4 or lower monster in your opponent's Graveyard and Special Summon it. The monster Special Summoned by this effect cannot attack, be Tributed, or used for the Synchro Summon of a Synchro Monster. This card's ATK is increased by the ATK of the monster Special Summoned by this effect -500 while it remains face-up on the field.

 

 

 

 

Also, could you help me edit this so it makes more sense?:

Fossil Fusion

Normal Spell Card

Select 1 "Fossil" Fusion Monster in your Extra Deck. Remove the listed Rock-Type monster from your Graveyard, and the additional monster from your opponent's Graveyard that is listed as a Fusion Material Monster, and Special Summon that Fusion Monster. (This Special Summon is treated as a Fusion Summon.)
