Bringerofcake
Counter ConverterContinuous TrapOnce per turn, you can remove any number of one type of counter from cards on the field. Then select a different type of counter on the field. Distribute counters of that type equal to the number removed to cards on the field. Ruling: You can only select counters that have a name (i.e. Venom Counter, Spell Counter, etc)Ruling: If the selected type of counter(s) is Spell Counter, then you can only place them on a monster that can accept Spell Counters. CrabHelmet
It seems cool, but it would take an odd sort of hybrid deck to make use of it. Link to comment
Bringerofcake
It's also epic tech for Spellcasters against Aliens (or vice-versa). Now that I think about it, that hybrid deck could feasibly BE Alien/Venom: Grey tags something with an A-Counter, Swamp floods with Venom Counters, Convert them to A-Counters. Link to comment
Umbra
Makes for ridiculous OTK material in Venom. Hyper-Venom Counter, anyone? Link to comment
CrabHelmet
It's also epic tech for Spellcasters against Aliens (or vice-versa). Eh' date=' sure, it's nice tech for Counter-Using Deck X against Counter-Using Deck Y, but that still seems like a rare situation. Now that I think about it, that hybrid deck could feasibly BE Alien/Venom: Grey tags something with an A-Counter, Swamp floods with Venom Counters, Convert them to A-Counters. Possible, but it still seems underwhelming. Makes for ridiculous OTK material in Venom. Hyper-Venom Counter' date=' anyone?[/quote'] That OTK requires Vennominion plus a way of killing Vennominion plus Rise of the Snake Deity plus this plus a way of flooding with some other type of Counter. That's a very large combo - it involves a minimum of three largely-unsearchable specific cards plus at least two other non-specific cards - and one that takes quite a lot of setup. Hardly what I'd call ridiculous. Link to comment

Venom Swamp is assumed in Venom Decks, Rise is assumed in Vennominaga decks - or, you can just tech Vennominaga and PoC in an Endymion deck. Link to comment
Bringerofcake
The PoC method wouldn't work. The counter must already exist on the field if you want to change it. Since PoC can't inflict Battle Damage, it can't gain Hyper Venom Counters. Link to comment

I misread the card and overestimated it's capabilities. ...That'll teach me how to read, will it? Link to comment
