If you knew the significant term for Barbarian' date=' then you would know the reason for high ATK, and low DEF.

Plus, it has a cost, gain ATK at the cost of a monster, and take a monster to Summon a monster.

Sir, that is irrelevant to what makes a card, "good".

You lose a monster so this card has 2300 ATK.

And 2300 ATK is terrible.

The first sentence doesn't quite make sense. Also, some parts of the OCG are out of date, as you used both Tribute and Sacrifice in the Effect.

I think the correct way to put it is this way:

 

You can Normal Summon this card by Tributing 1 EARTH attribute "Elemental Hero" monster on your side of the field to have this card gain 500 ATK. Once per turn you can Tribute 1 monster on your side of the field other than this card to Special Summon 1 EARTH "Elemental Hero" monster from your Graveyard.

Underline- Rephrases

Crossed out- Unneeded

 

The bold really gets me, as I don't know what you mean. Either:

A: As soon as it is Summoned, you can Tribute an EARTH "Elemental Hero" to have it gain 500 ATK

B: The monster can only be Normal Summoned, and you must Tribute 1 EARTH "Elemental Hero" to gain 500 ATK.

 

I really can't tell what you meant from that.

 

Still, I like the fact that you lowered DEF and raised ATK from the term of Barbarian.

And despite Effect error in the first sentence, it seems somewhat balance in my books.

 

Still, you might want to raise it to Level 5, just in case it turns out to be somewhat OP'd.

I'm just saying, there can be a different translation to what he said.

With my idea, the monster becomes less of a dead draw, being a tributeless monster with 1900 ATK.

There aren't that many EARTH E-Heroes that are a threat, so discarding a card is fine imo.

hmm yea i think what i might do is atk 1900 def 800 only sending an earth elemental hero monster from your hand to the graveyard to normal summon the card, then sacrificing one monster on your side of the field to SS one earth moonster with 2000 ATK or less, could easily be wildheart, clayman,woodsman these 3 can be fair contributing cards to though, what do u think?
