The Original Jay Project is a new Project I'm working on. It's dedicated to remaking illegal cards. More specific, Match Winners.

A Match Winner (E.g. Ulevo, Queen of Fate - Eternia), as the name suggests, it is a monster who has the capability to win an entire match from one attack. The remakes are all Synchro monsters.

The project will likely take me a long time to finish (Mostly because it's hard to find pictures of illegal monsters)

 

Cards are in Greek. Card on the left is actual card. Card on the right is my creation.

When this card destroys an opponent's monster by battle, you can select 1 monster in your Graveyard and 1 Normal Monster you control. The Normal Monster gains the effect(s) of the selected monster in your Graveyard. Afterward, this card gains 200 ATK. During the End Phase, if this card exists in your Graveyard, you can Tribute 1 Level 7 or higher monster to Special Summon this card. Then, you can discard any number of cards for this card to gain 300 ATK for each card discarded.[/align]

During your Standby Phase, place 1 Xexex Counters on 1 face-up monster on the field (except this card). Negate the effects of all monsters with Xexex Counters on them. Increase the ATK of all monsters equal to the number of Xexex Counters on them x 1000. When this card attacks a monster with a Xexex Counter on it, you can remove from play 1 DARK monster from your Graveyard to destroy that monster immediately with this card

ATK/ 3000 | DEF/ 3000

LORE:

1 Tuner + 1 or more non-Tuner monsters

This card gains the following effects depending on the number of Level 3 or lower monsters on the field and in any Graveyard. ● 1 or more: This card is unaffected by the effects of Spell Cards that target. ● 2 or 3: Once per turn, you can remove from play any number of Spellcaster-Type and/or LIGHT monsters in your Graveyard to destroy cards equal to the number of cards removed. Then, you must discard cards equal to the number of LIGHT monsters removed and draw cards equal to the number of Spellcaster-Type monsters removed. ● 4 or 5: This card is unaffected by all other card effects (this effect cannot be negated). ● 6 or more: The original ATK of this card becomes 4000. ● Exactly 10: When this card destroys a monster by battle and sends it to the Graveyard, inflict 8000 damage to your opponent's Life Points.[/align]

During your Standby Phase, your opponent randomly selects 1 card in their Deck. Until your next Standby Phase, negate the effects and activation of all cards with the same Card Type (Monster, Spell, or Trap) as the selected card and destroy them. This card is unaffected by it's own effect. When the activation of a card controlled by your opponent is negated, this card gains 400 ATK.

I like the idea' date=' but the fancy border and card name do not impress me and the fact that it is in greek does not impress me. But other words this card is great it is still OP'ED but that is fine.

Do i look like I give a damn? Seriously, i don't care if it doesn't impress you, and don't say it. The border/greek/etc. was made so the card looks nice. Don't flatter yourself, I'm not trying to impress you.

Anyways, onto the cards. Very nice effects and such, but I think you went overboard with the rainbow text. I like the gold borders, though. Go well with the 'Synchro color'. So, you're just taking the Match Winners and turning them into real cards. Intriguing idea...

 

My rating: 8/10 (Slightly OPed.)

Ulevo is WAAY too OPed. That effect can make you win in one shot, without any cost. Give Ulevo a cost like Battle Damage is halved instead of doubled. I don't think creating a card that can instantly summon another card with 2500 attack just like that is a very 'balanced' idea.

Yeah, sure. I bet you remember all the cards, starting from the 1st structure deck/booster back every released in YuGiOh.

 

And FYI, I don't care if you learned them all when you were 5. This only means that I have something of a life going for myself, so I don't have to use my free time to remember every card in the game.

 

On topic: The new card is pretty good, maybe a tad on the overpowered line, with the Summoning of a 2500 ATK beatsticker and a 2500 DEF damage doubling defender..

Blue Thunder T-45 <-- has similar effect but is lvl4.

Take note that it's synchro lvl10, so it's pretty hard to summon and generally op.

True...but notice Blue Thunder's tokens' don't deal Piercing Damage of doubled damage. Its a cool idea' date=' don't get me wrong, but can you just add a cost? Even if it is a Level 10 Synchro. Just make it a small one.

...8000 just from destroying a monster by battle? Are you f***ing kidding me?

 

You'd need exactly 10 lvl3 monster on the field/graveyard (including your opponents) So it's pretty hard to do. Plus, your opponent can easily counter this by summoning a lvl3.
