Card_Critic24
This is my complete Olympian set! My previous one didn't have the set name so her it is.... WRATH OF THE GODS! If you haven't already guessed it's based on Greek Mythology. Most of them have the ability that destroys them during the end phase, but they make up for it with their powerful effects! I don't own any of the images used in this set, and I found most of them just by searching Google or from DevianART.com. I'd also like to note for the Mythologically savy that I don't have a "Dionysus" card. I replaced him with Hestia because I couldn't find a good picture of him. My personal favs out of the set are: "Hero, Goddess of Marriage" and "Aphrodite, Goddess of Love". Don't judge me cause of it, or say it's against the rules (I think :?). Lol! Anyway, I hope you enjoy my set and don't forget to reply about changes I could make! When this card is Normal Summoned, add 1 "Mount Olympus" from Deck to your hand. When this card destroys an opponents monster by battle and sends it to the graveyard, place 1 Thunder Counter on this card. By discarding 1 card from your hand, remove 1 Thunder Counter from this card to destroy 1 face-up monster your opponent controls. This card cannot declare battle the turn this card's effect is activated. This card can be Special Summoned from your hand if "Zeus, Lord of the Sky" and "Poseidon, Lord of the Seas" are in either players Graveyard. If this card was Special Summoned this way, you can send any 2 cards from your opponents Deck to the Graveyard. If you use this card's effect, destroy it during the End Phase of the turn you use this effect. You can control only 1 face-up "Poseidon, Lord of the Seas". When this card is Summoned, add any 1 Olympian-Type monster from your Deck to your hand. This card is destroyed during the End Phase this card's effect was activated if the Monster Card added to your hand was "Zeus, Lord of the Sky" or "Hades, Lord of the Underworld". You must pay 1000 Life Points whenever an Olympian-Type monster is Special Summoned except if they were Special Summoned by this card's effect. This card cannot be destroyed by the effect of a Spell or Trap Card controlled by your opponent. All Olympian-Type monsters on the field cannot be destroyed by their own effects. Once per turn, you can tribute 1 face-up Olympian-Type monster to Special Summon 1 Level 4 Olympian-Type monster from your hand. This card cannot be Special Summoned. As long as this card remains face-up on the field, your opponent can only attack with 1 monster during each of their Battle Phases. Destroy this card if there is a face-up Olympian-Type monster with a higher ATK than it. This card can be Special Summoned from your hand if there is a face-up "Zeus, Lord of the Sky" you control. This card can also be Special Summoned by the effect of "Mount Olympus". If this card was Special Summoned, destroy this card during your End Phase. During your next Standby Phase, send this card to your Deck then shuffle it. This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card can only be Special summoned by the effect of "Mount Olympus". Increase this card's ATK by 200 for every Olympian-Type monster in either player's Graveyard. This card is destroyed during the End Phase of your next turn. Once per turn, you can discard 1 card from your hand to destroy one Spell or Trap Card your opponent controls. Destroy this card after using it's effect 5 times. Then place 1 Thunder Counter on 1 face-up "Zeus, Lord of the Sky" for every Spell Card destroyed by this effect. This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card can only be Special Summoned from your hand if there is a face-up "Zeus, Lord of the Sky" on the field. This card's ATK and DEF becomes equal to half the combined ATK and DEF of every Level 4 or lower Olympian-Type monster on the field, or in either player's Graveyard. During the End Phase of a turn an Olympian-Type monster was destroyed by battle, destroy this card and Special Summon 1 monster fro your Graveyard that was destroyed by battle this turn. You can discard this card to add 1 Olympian-Type monster or "Mount Olympus" from your Deck to your hand You can Special Summon this card from your hand if there is a face-up "Ares, God of War". When this card is destroyed, Special Summon 2 "Love Tokens" (Olympian-Type/LIGHT/Level 1/ATK 0/DEF 0) in face-up Defense Position. Once per turn, you can tribute 1 "Love Token" on the field to Special Summon this card in face-up Attack Position and increase this card's ATK by 2000. Destroy this card during the End Phase of the turn it was Special Summoned. When an Olympian-Type monster's effect activates that destroys it by it's own effect, destroy this card instead. You can discard 2 cards from your hand to Special Summon this card in face-up Defense Position. Destroy this card if there isn't another Olympian-Type monster on the field. This card cannot be placed in Attack Position. When you Normal Summon this card, place it in face-up Defense Position. As long as this card is face-up on the field, increase the ATK of all Level 4 Olympian-Type monsters you control. Destroy this card during the end Phase of this turn unless you tribute 1 Olympian-Type monster you control. Only activate this card when there are at least 12 Olympian-Type monsters with different names on the field or in the Graveyard. You win the duel. No monsters can declare an attack unless they are an Olympian-Type monster. When this card is activated, Special Summon 1 "Gorgon Token" (Olympian/EARTH/Level 4/ATK 1500/ DEF 1500) in face-up Defense Position. You must pay 500 Life Points if you attack with a "Gorgon Token". But even the real yugioh card makers make new types' date=' and it was easier to catagorize them that way.[hr']don't overcompliment yourself sir....all "Ultra Rare"? Yeah cuz I wanted them to be. I think they look better and they have the effects that put them in for ultra rare status except maybe hestia.
SSStylin'
They are all nice...but one thing to say DONT MAKE UP TYPES IF THEY ARE REALISTIC. nobody likes made up types except losers. This forum truly despises made-up Types' date=' don't they? I suppose by Dread689's statement, that makes me a loser. Personally, I don't mind made-up Types as long as they also have a real Type. (Yes, I know these cards don't have a real Type supplementing their made-up Type.) In any case, it's probably punishable to have idle conversation on this board, so without further ado, I'll get to the 'appropriate' part of this post: For the most part, I think most of the cards' stats and effects are balanced, save for [b']Wrath of the Gods[/b] and Medusa's Stare. Why? I shall gladly explain:Wrath of the Gods:- it doesn't seem too difficult to fulfill its requirements, since it encompasses both the field and Graveyard. That, and I also doubt anyone would play this card in their Deck unless they were playing an Olympian-themed Deck. Medusa's Stare:- Olympian-Type monsters are a unique creation of your own, thus making them uncommon among monsters. This card's effect only allows Olympian-Type monsters attack, which gives its controller quite the advantage.- Its effect Summons a Token Monster to your field, which can be used for various actions (Tributing, defending your Life Points, etc.). With 1500 ATK, I can't imagine its controller would use it to attack very often (and by extension rendering the 500 Life Point cost to attack with it almost meaningless).
