You're lucky I've played Arcanas, otherwise I'd have no idea what the numbers mean. Add the names.

As for the deck itself,

+2 Fool

-2 Magician

-1 Banner of Courage

-1 Black Pendant

-2 Cup of Ace

-1 Hammer Shot

-1 D.D. Capsule

-1 Graceful Dice

-1 Meteor of Destruction

-2 Kunai with Chain

-1 Ordeal of a Traveler

-1 Pikeru's Circle of Enchantment

-2 Tour of Doom

-1 Wall of Revealing Light

i usually say ignore everyone with less than 5 stars because theyre almost always wrong.

lilj here, for example, mandates a deck that is 41 cards at absolute max. tourny winning decks actually find the proper range to be 40-43. my personal maximum is 42.

and if youre running gadgets or bad mill it can go up to 45ish, i believe.

but i have to extend this to count people with 5 stars who just dont know what theyre talking about. bringer has his sts alright, but his monster evaluation is shakey and themeslaved at best.

now, the reason arcanas generally suck is that they hate each other. when you look at a deck like lightsworns, you notice something about their effects. for the most part, they all flow together. wulf and celest use the others, lumina and aurkus protect and help the others, and jd flows right with the how the deck works. they have synergy. the cards like each other.

arcanas, on the other hand, rarely mention each other. and the times they do, its usually for situational or only barely useful effects. i mean, their boss monster doesnt even mention arcanas. seriously.

so when building arcanas, you have to be careful not to use too many. as they suck by and large.

this is the best i've come up with:

1 dark ruler

2 venus

1 athena

1 superbia

2 tethys

2 magician

3 emperor

2 honest

1 hecatrice

2 chariot

1 fool

1 sangan

2 shining

21

2 light barrier

3 valhalla

1 terraforming

1 brain control

1 mst

1 heavy

1 foolish

3 cup of ace

13

2 bth

2 call

2 reversal

2 waboku

8

deck 42

this is updated from my last version, and might not be that consistent. but its a damn sight better than this mess.

Bringerofcake - The instructions you gave me brings my deck to 38 cards. I did the math twice to be sure. Thanks anyways.

Tronta - There are some cards you listed that I don't have, but I'll look into those. I'm assuming when you said "Foolish" you meant "Foolish Burial." What would I need that for?

Tronta's right. I suggest either Tronta's build, or, if you do want this deck to be completely or at least almost completely Arcana Force...

You're lucky I've played Arcanas' date=' otherwise I'd have no idea what the numbers mean. Add the names.

As for the deck itself,

+2 Fool

-2 Magician

[b']+2 Honest[/b]

-1 Banner of Courage

-1 Black Pendant

-2 Cup of Ace

-1 Hammer Shot

-1 D.D. Capsule

-1 Graceful Dice

-1 Meteor of Destruction

-1 Offerings to the Doomed

+3 Valhalla, Hall of the Fallen

+2 Light Barrier

-1 Adhesion Trap Hole

-2 Kunai with Chain

-1 Ordeal of a Traveler

-1 Pikeru's Circle of Enchantment

-2 Tour of Doom

-1 Wall of Revealing Light

-1 Xing Zhen Hu

+2 Threatening Roar

+2 Lucky Chance

+1 Arcana Call

this.

But really, I don't suggest theme-slaving, especially if the monsters don't work well together toward one goal.

foolish burial primary targets:

the dark ruler

superbia

secondary targets:

any arcana you feel like calling

any fairy you want to revive with athena.

the reasons for superbia are obvious. its what it does.

the reasoning behind darkruler may be a little more complicated.

you see, its damn near impossible to summon darkruler. but it /is/ still easy to get its effect. how so? the most important card in an arcana deck: arcana call.

seriously. its the best card.

watch carefully:

i normal summon an arcana, in attack mode!

but oh no! it gave me the tails effect! what do i do?

i'll attack you clearly stronger monster head on! why? am i stupid? no!

activate trap card! arcana call! removing the dark ruler!

my monster dies, but now so does EVERYONE!

or your direct attack of 17 from the chariot that you fought so hard to get suddenly becomes a 34!

arcana call also does wonders with the fool for dodging cards like shrink and book of moon.
