...Why would you use that? This thing is way, way over-rated.

 

Maybe your hand is running low for Brionac, maybe your opponent's monsters are too big for Goyo, maybe either or both have already been used. There could be any number of reasons.

Again, you can pretty much dump a level 6 Dragunity synchro to lower a level 8 monster to 6, so the material is already good enough to make everything. All this card does is increase dead hands.
