Dizzy~
... the "Start" and "Backspace" buttons fall off, and the screen has fallen off the hinges twice. No, I'm not talking about mine. (Or am I? Am I?) Discuss severely broken laptops.
Sorrow.
My mom blamed me for breaking her laptop keyboard even though she loves to slam the god damn keys.. and I just laughed at her.... But then I got grounded oh the Irony..
Rusty Shovel
My friend has a laptop, with all the key things rubbed off.
Dizzy~
It's weird, looking at the keyboard without the keys. Well, all but two. Did you know the "Backspace" button has a huge staple thing on it?
Sorrow.
What do you mean huge staple thing?
Dizzy~
Like, where they put the button in there, there's these two little holes and the staple-like thing fits in there. No matter how much I tinker with it it won't go back in, though.
Sorrow.
Has the "Staple-like thing" been chipped? Thats probably it..
Dizzy~
No, It just popped off before I made this thread. Probly because instead of clicking back, I push the backspace button. While we're on the topic of buttons, my "R" button on my DSi doesn't work =/ That's probly a result of me playing through Loz: Spirit Tracks twice =/

Yankee
Not so, If you made it a bunch of jokes like"You know you need a laptop when.." and had punchlines, it would be acceptable, as your title fits ;)
Blamonchesix
I think people should buy a new laptop when their screen is shattered and strange liquid oozed out. XD

Cin
I'd probably buy a new one if something like the motherboard goes (it did in my sister's but they fixed it), the processor, in a fashion typical for my computers so far the laser in the dvd/cd rom drive goes. Maghion Syaoran Light
The bezel is cracked and chipped all over the place. Had to replace the hard drive. One time, my laptop would turn on but it would be a blank screen nothing else...I though i might had to replace hard drive again..... Since i was so poor, i went for a whole month without a laptop ... then my uncle (who is good with computers) came over and I went to show him. The laptop decided to work perfectly. This was in February ... Its April and its still working perfectly. :D
