This card really isn't that good.

 

While it can possibly lead to a +3' date=' there are so many things you must consider.

 

Firstly, is Starlight Road, many people are running this card this format, because of higher profile cards like Mirror Force, Heavy Storm, Torrential Tribute, Icarus Attack, Judgment Dragon, Celestia, etc. Giving your opponent a free Stardust is terrible this format, because its a 2500 floater that will stop 1 negation, then be fuel for Pot of Avarice.

 

Secondly is the activation. The board position requires 4 monsters to be on the board, in any position. To really make this card worthwhile is the fact that you need your monsters face down, and your opponent's monsters Face-up. A majority of decks this format usually set their first turn, getting a very hard to beat set up, as it allows them to flip first, and then gain more tempo/control. Stuff like Ryko/Spy/Hamster really make this card useless. Ryko kills this card. Spy fetchs Descendant and kills it. Hamster gets Ryko and then gets tributed for Caius, killing your monster/this card.

 

Overall, its meh in my book.

... But on a serious, not trolly, not +1 Post Count note, I thought it was lightly implied that this card be used in a deck like the one you described...

 

As for Starlight Road, I've not been to a tournament in about 5 or 6 months so I can neither confirm nor deny your claim.

 

I don't see how opening turn spy would be a problem though. Your opponents set Spy. You set or summon some random guy. Opponent flips spy. Opponent summons any random tuner and prepares to Synchro. Flip Needle Ceiling.

 

Well, Spy will 9 times out of 10 get Descendant. So you can tribute the used up Spy and blow up a card. Usually the back row, and then synchro.

I'd use this card, but I have no copies of it, and no one else brings it.

this card is great, and when used properly, can leave the opponent completely open.

There are soooo many terrorists in the world now... I am siding this card at 1 because i pulled one in a pack about seven years ago or something and I still have it.

Well..My opponent summoned the wicked dreadroot and sort of special summoned (I don't really know what happened) And i activated this card, so I still use it.

I'm personally loving this card. Just grabbed three copies of it to test. Just not sure which deck to put it in.... I'm thinking my reptiliannes because I play facedown a lot with them. That or I can get tokens on the field to increase monster count to 4+ to blow the field up. Or blow up my guardna for free search.

It's a bad card unless you run a deck like pacman. The problem with this is that you need your opponent to not know how to play this game and be completely oblivious to torrential tribute in order to activate this.

I think this might be cool in Intiquilla Cycle or whatever you call that Deck, you know what I mean.
