Iroincally, my computer has a virus, so my responses will be little to no response at all.

The year 2020, a video game developer/ story writter named Erin Farley, created a story where players control Mechs to fight other players, created his fantasy dream, with a game called F.A.R. (Fully Automated Robots).

 

In the year 2135 A.D. F.A.R., Now a Massive Multiplayer Online game (MMO) has become very popular with the world, where you control your own Mech, and battle against other Players, and their Mechs, via. Internet.

But F.A.R. has been attacked by an violent Virus, where it not only disrupted matches between other players, but also caused DATA lost, and corruption to the system. Where it attacked not only the game's CPU, but used it as a home base to attack any other major CPUs across the globe, such as Russia, China, and the U.S. To counter this, the United Nation, or U.N. put a ban on the very popular MMO game.

 

But the owners of the game protested, declaring that they can handle it.

Was banned anway, not only because of the very violent attacks from the virus, but also because of an Nuclear bomb threat that the Virus is capable of firing, and they banned it suddenly.

 

With the sudden banned, many players, experienced, and inexperienced alike, were trapped (only their minds though). Now in this hostile enviroment, it is up to the players to possibly stop the virus, and save the world. But for those are not in the game, they provide technicle serivces.

Bio: Glibert first started playing the game when he was 15, and used to play it often, however after he went to university he stopped playing. Having recently graduated and started working, he decided to start again for a bit, however it was just his bad luck that he would do so just as the game was banned. Fortunately he still remembered how to play the game.

Personality: Gilbert is generally a calm person, and tends to analyse things before he acts, however he uses the game as a way to escape reality, so he tends to act as though he is aggressive and hot-headed.

Real-World Appearance: Generally average. A bit above average hight, an average build and light brown hair. Most of the times he plays the games he wears a t-shirt and jeans.

In-game Appearance: For no particular reason, Gilbert has a female avatar. 'She' is an average hight woman, with a slim build and small chest, jet-black hair and a mid-green military-style uniform, consisting of a jacket looking something like this, except with the cording on the front in gold and a brighter shade, matching trousers and black boots.

A.I.s Appearance: A small pink sphere, about 10cm across, and according to the mech's design set into the side of the cockpit. No markings, but lights up when active and flashes when communicating.

 

Mech's Name: KNRX-001 'Uther'

Mech's Appearance: An average-sized mech, with a fairly bulky build, but not overly so. It is mostly green, although there is some gold trim around the head - which resembles a head in a helmet with an open face and a single fairly large horn - and the insides of joints are grey. The limbs are a little shorter than they would be on a human, but again not to a great degree, and they are again rather bulky. It has functional hands, and carries some of it's weapons. There are wheels mounted inside it's feet, which can be lifted or dropped depending on whether or not they are needed.

Mech's Fighting Style: A good all-round unit, but most effective up close.

Mech's Weapon/Gear:

- Combat Lance (The tip vibrates at high frequency, allowing it to pierce tougher targets)

- Shield with built-in Missile Launcher and Energy Shield Generator

Bio: The average kid. Alright in a fight. A few mates. B's in everything. Except IT. His IQ and talent on a computor was at an extreme. By 16 he had first Hacked into the FBI's computor database, then he had been hired by them. He ended a long war with Russia, by negotiating with them as an AI created by the FBI. When he saw the game, he loved it. He had been too busy before then but he absolutely loved the Idea when he finally noticed the game. He joined instantly, and soon became one of the best known and most talented players. He already had a few friends on the game, but quickly rose above them. He hacked slightly into the game, undetected by anyone, to gain a Mech that wasn't even created yet, giving him the upper hand in any fight.

Personality: Friendly, generous and eager to help. He is loyal and makes friends easily. He also (Although unknown to him) attracts quite a few women, but he usually ignores it. He is also slightly carefree. However, when things get either too serious or dangerous, he gets serious himself, and becomes deadly.

He also has a natural knack for computers, and when the game was banned, he managed to hack himself back in, though he cannot figure out how to get back out. Completely unknown to most people, he has created his own Mech, and hacked it into the game.

Personality: Jason is quiet and friendly. He hardly ever speaks, except to his partner or any friends of his. Jason is determined/stubborn, and never gives up until he is either defeated or wins. He usually doesn't look people in the eyes, but never turns his face away, especially from an opponent.

He played non-stop every weekend. Of course he still retained his social life. He was unfortunate enough to be playing the game when the ban happened. Now he is trapped in a strange world that is all to familiar to him. He then built his own mech with the help of his A.I. Clause. Now his first priority is to save this world. His second is to figure a way out.

Personality: Ian is an imaginative, stubborn young man with a happy attitude. He is the kind of person that when he commits to something he finishes it. He is optimistic and can overcome almost any obstacle. The one thing he hates is people who won't save the wonderful paradise of F.A.R.

Mech's name: Specialized 7RX-2 Zeta class A.K.A. Zeta Delegate. He calls it Zeta.

Mech's fighting style: More of a long range type but still adequately equipped for close range.

Mech's Weapon/Gear:

-Coil guns mounted in a dual setup primarily for more controllable recoil.

-Winged extensions unfurl out huge solar collecting panels.

-Legs terminate in complex retro boosters.

-Guns on the arms can fold back to reveal four fingered hands.

-Red laser blades can be generated from the sides of the gun arms.

-Its most powerful weapon is the orbital destroyer in which the mech flies to the outer atmosphere and glides on the atmosphere. From there its solar panels will open up and the guns on the arms will split apart and spin around the arm. He will target his opponent and from the mech's hand a huge purple beam will fire upon his target leaving a huge crater afterwards. This takes all the mech's power and the mech deactivates. Its solar panels will begin collecting energy and it will take a full 2 hours to recharge the mech. Once the mech is recharged it will fly back down to the planet.

Bio: Faith is the daughter of two very strict parents. They don't like her doing anything they haven't approved of, and they even had to approve of her friends. So as you can imagine her friends were as stuck up as her parents. Both of her parents have high paying jobs, so she is far from poor, but she's not exactly rich either. She attended a very boring Private School, that she would everyday wish to somehow burn to the ground. One day however, she over heard some people talking about some on line game. She asked them what it was and they explained the game to her. They invited her over to their house to play with them, but she knew her parents weren't going to let her. So she lied to them, saying she was going to the library to study. After that day she's been hooked ever since.

Personality Faith is a generally happy person, but not bubbly. She's usually very helpful, but hates people who acts like they know everything. Faith is very smart and can usually come up with fairly good stratigies. Her favorite pass time is reading, and playing F.A.R. The only thing she hates about herself is that when ever she sees a cute guy she doen't know she gets tounge tied, and very shy.

A.I. personality: Just like her name suggest, it's a very energetic pet. She doesn't like sitting still, and is always floating all over the place. Sugar is very curious and usually the one who gets Faith into trouble.

A.I. preferred fighting style: Sugar is very fast and is typically the destraction. She confuses the opponent to give Faith an opening. If needed prefers to tackle the opponent and can shoot small purple lazer looking pin needles. When actually sitting still she enjoys sitting on Faith's shoulders. When in a mech, Sugar is on the outside in the chest area.

Bio: Xander's been playing ever since the game was invented, with absolutely all his spare time. After all this time, he has garnered quite the popularity, and is known as, in battle, one of the fastest and most skillful players ever. He lives alone and is very experienced in coding and art styles. He created Eclipse himself. Everything about Eclipse was completely created by Xander. Later, Xander changed another Mecha's code to the same thing as Eclipse's, making Eclipse legal, in a way. Ever since Xander was stuck in the game, it's been like paradise for him.

 

Personality: Just like his A.I., Xander is a well-mannered guy. Speaking to everybody with respect, unless he generally dislikes them. He's absolutely cold and unforgiving to anybody who he dislikes. He also enjoys being alone rather than in a group, although he likes to be in pairs as well. Xander is very analytical, and can find the weak points on virtually anything without fail. Also, he's a bit of a lady's man, but still doesn't try to act so barbaric, as that is against him.

A.I.s Personality: The A.I. has a forgiving personality. Also, he is very nice, and speaks with the utmost respect. Lastly, the A.I. is quite well-mannered.

 

A.I.s Name: Reflect

 

A.I.s Prefered Fighting Style: Not so much brute strength, but a buttload of speed. It also specializes in damaging fatal areas and potential OHKOs.

 

A.I.s Appearance: A small, half white and black orb. It has two large spikes growing out it's top, and two smaller ones below them. The spikes and it's whole is aerodynamically built.

 

 

Mech's Name: Lunar Eclipse (Xander just calls him Eclipse)

The only difference between the real mecha and the one in the picture is that Xander's mecha is much more aerodynamically built, with all wings pointing downwards. The mecha itself is also quite small for a mecha, and has quite a sleek, slim build. Also, instead of the crimson claymore, Eclipse is equipped with a middle-lengthed, pitch black, skinny Katana.

 

Mech's Fighting Style: Eclipse uses his small, slim build to his advantage, easily dodging most attacks with little to no effort. Also, Xander created Eclipse to be able to easily find the fatal spots on anybody or thing, making him proficient in OHKOs, or dealing fatal blows in one hit. Eclipse is much more experienced at close-ranged combat. Although Eclipse can normally move much faster than his opponent, meaning there's almost never going to be a time where Eclipse will be far from the enemy. The main weakness to Eclipse is that he is quite frail.

 

Mech's Weapon/Gear:

-A pitch blade katana attached to Eclipse's right arm.

-Inside his left arm is a special "umbrella blade". Normally, the weapon is in the shape of a giant pin/tack. But if the weapon goes inside an enemy, Eclipse can make the pin turn into an umbrella of blades inside the enemy, potentially tearing their insides apart, and most of their body. The weapon can only be revealed after Eclipse's body is in a critical state.

-Missiles with drills at their fronts that are found inside the wings that are built to make impact, drill inside, and explode in the joints or head of an enemy.

-In Eclipse's joints are one-time use boosters that can make the joint, and part of Eclipse, move many times faster for a little over two seconds. Using these, Eclipse can smash into the enemy at incredible speeds, using his small size to his advantage due to certain laws of pressure (The smaller something is, and the less of it there are, the more pressure will be expelled onto anything that it touches)

Bio: Lucas was born on March 23. Lucas has two siblings, an older brother and a younger sister. Lucas' family owns a small bakery in their small town. Lucas used to be a person with few or no interests. Due to this, Lucas was constantly bothered by people. One day he discovered an MMO game called F.A.R. He was constantly hooked onto the game and spent everyday after school playing it. Soon the game was banned, and Lucas decided to hack the game. To his surprise, Lucas' mind was transported into F.A.R.'s world.

Personality: Lucas is confident, carefree, and generally nice. He tries to be friends with people he meets and thinks that teamwork is the key to winning. He sometimes can be a little hotheaded when people don't take him seriously. He detests people who view themselves as better than everyone else. Lucas, unbeknownst to a lot of people, is pretty good at technical things even though he tries his best not to use these skills when they are unnecessary.

A.I.s Personality: Yumi is sweet, kind, and caring. She always looks out for Lucas no matter what and would even die for him to protect him. Yumi sometimes can be too overprotective of Lucas, to the point that anything Yumi views as dangerous she will restrict Lucas from doing. However Lucas ends up doing it anyways and afterwards Yumi gives him a big lecture. Yumi is always seen either riding on Lucas' head or shoulder, but at times she does transform into her original form which is a bright pink ball that floats around Lucas.

A.I.s Perfered Fighting Style: Yumi prefers to teleport around and blasts enemies with pink orbs of energy.

Mech's Name: Ulti-Mech Blu-271063 A.K.A "Blu-Dawn" Lucas calls him Blu for short.

Mech's Fighting Style: Blu-Dawn balances between close range, mid-range, and long range attacks. However his strongest attacks are close and long range. Blu-Dawn is notorious for its speed and power in combat, being able to tear weak enemies apart within the first 10 sec. of the battle. However when Blu-Dawn performs a strong attack it must recharge for about 10 sec.

Mech's Weapon/Gear:

-Hyper speed cutting and rotating laser sword that retracts into Blu-Dawn's right arm-

-Long photon barrel laser cannon visible on right arm-

-Photon blasters visible on left arm-

-Photon Missles located within the shoulder pads-

-Giant photon cannon hidden in Blu-Dawn's chest-

-Phonton wings that can produce electricity for use in various ways-

-Rocket boosters on feet and back can greatly increase Blu-Dawn's speed-

One more thing, this goes for everyone, but for the people who made the recent entries, could you try to "Weaken" your mechs a bit. There're cool the way their are, it's just that there're a bit to overpowered.

Username: Renegade, altough he's called Justin by those who knows him IRL

Bio: Justin got into F.A.R when one of his friends told him about the game, and he quickly got a copy of his own and started playing. While creating his PC, A.I, Mech and Fighting Style he was greatly influenced by Japanese myth, and together with his mech, Tengu, he quickly became one of the more feared players. When the MMO was banned, he was very angry and after several atempts to hack the game he gave up. After the ban, his mind got trapped into his player character, but he wasn't sad about this. Now his conquest could begin...

Personality: In real life, he is a nice guy and cares about people that he doesn't even know. However, this is only on the outside. On the inside, he's a ruthless fighter and his hobby is to destroy other player's mechs, forcing the players into starting all over.

A.I.s Personality: Yokai is, like his partner, a ruthless enemy. He thinks before performing actions and is a very wise being who knows the F.A.R World far better then most others.

Mech's Name: Tengu

Mech's Fighting Style: The Tengu's fighting style draws inspiration from martial arts like karate, kung fu and thai boxing, but it's also able to perform darkness based attacks.

Mech's Weapon/Gear: It's very strong arms, fists and legs are used as weapons. Worth to note is also that it's able to fire lasers from it's eyes and to use energy attacks of pure darkness.

Name: Sana Clearwater

Age: 16

Bio: Sana is Faith's twin sister, and is older by three minutes. Sana isn't one to just sit around and do something she didn't want to do, so out of the two she was the rebble. She doesn't always listen to her parents, because she thinks most of their rules are bogus. Sana, was actually the one who encouraged Faith to lie so she could play that on-line game. She wasn't into thoe kinds of games, so she didn't want to go with Faith. Despite all of that, she get's good grades at her school, and for the most part stays ot of trouble (What's a few fights here and there?) She loves her sister dearly and would do anything to protect her. She felt resposible when Faith got trapped in the game because she was the one who told her to lie, and got her hooked on the game. So she tries to do whatever it is she can to help.

Personality: Sana is loud, and very outgoing. She enjoys playing pranks, and has a sort of punk rock style of clothing. So that she could be told apart from her sister she dyed her hair black. Unlike Faith when Sana meets a new boy she always wants to get to know him, but if she doesn't like his personality then she'll blow him off. She doesn't like know-it-alls, and people who disregard her sister.

Name: Jack Rayman

Age: 37

Bio: Jack Rayman was born on January 17 in a samll town. Growing up, Jack didn't have much due to his family's low income. As a kid, Jack was always fascinated by games and technolgy. He would spend most of his afternoon at school learning about computers. As he grew older, his skills on the computer has greatly helped others. He soon became part of the team that created F.A.R. Because of his excellent work, Jack was promoted to head of design and head technician of the servers. However when the virus hit, Jack was fired. He was determined that he would be able to destroy the virus, but was never given an opportunity to try. Now Jack is hired by the Army to provide technical help for the people stuck in the game.

Personality: Jack has a rather solitary and matter-of-fact attitude. He also has a calm and detached demeanor. Even though he is highly respected by others working with him, Jack has shown no signs of arrogance, and is rather modest about his abilities. His naturally calm attitude makes it easier for him to maintain his composure and to stay focused on the situation at hand. As a result, he can quickly adjust to any situation to make keen and thought-out decisions.
