Jason saw with some satisfaction that the boy had spotted him. He quickly flicked a large amount of switches, and pressed a couple buttons, and the Mech's legs bent. Jason grasped the sides of the cockpit as it lowered rapidly. With a hiss, the legs ceased moving, and Jason saw that he was now only about twenty feet from the ground. He pushed the cockpit open, and then watched the boy, waiting for a response. "You know that we have external speakers, correct?" Zero inquired. "You could have stayed higher up, where we were safer." Jason just waved him off, and watched as the boy came closer.

Lucas finally reached the mech, which by then, had disappeared, revealing a boy about Lucas' age. "Wow, it's good to finally see someone. Hey there, the name's Dawnsh00ter, well actually just call me Lucas." Lucas said happily. Yumi then jumped up into the air. "I'm Yumi! Lucas' A.I.!" Yumi exclaimed happily. "Hehe, my A.I. can be a little, well, eccentric." Lucas proclaimed nervously as Yumi began to dance around the boy. "Umm, so what's your name?" Lucas asked as he held his hand out for a handshake.

Jason took the hand, and shook it vigorously. "I'm JCPilot, but you can just call me Jason." Thank god I met somebody. And there not completely psychotic! Much better than I thought I would get. Jason heard a small huff from behind, and turned his head. He saw Zero, who apparently had been studying their new friends. "This little guy," he said, motioning back to Zero, "is Zero, my A.I. partner. Sorry, he's not the friendliest guy...Come on, Zero, why don't you change into a more personable appearance?" Again, Zero huffed, and bobbed up and down, as if he was crossing his arms. He turned back to Lucas, a sheepish grin on his face. "Sorry about that....Do you have any idea what's happened?" he asked. "I mean, you're actually a person, not, like, a character, right?"

"Yeah don't worry about that, I'm a player. I actually was hoping you were a player too. Good thing I was right." Lucas proclaimed as he gave a friendly smile. "Hey Yumi, you should stop bothering Zero." Lucas said. "Alright Lucas!" Yumi happily replied as she jumped onto Jason's head. "Hehe, sorry Jason, Yumi is just like that I guess." Lucas proclaimed as he scratch the back of his head in embarrassment. "Anyways, I was about to ask you the same thing. I don't really know how I got here. All I remember was that I passed out, then I woke up here." Lucas explained.

Jason laughed as Yumi jumped on his head. "Don't worry about her. She's way better than Zero. He just floats around telling me what to do." Then, he turned his mind to more serious matters. "Yeah, the same thing happened to me. I was...er....I was hacking into F.A.R., to play it again, when there was this great flash of light. I had the sensation that I was flying, only I wasn't moving...At least, I don't think I was. Then, everything blacked out. When I opened my eyes, I was in a small clearing. I discovered my mech, learned the situation, and...here we are." Jason placed his hands on his hips in confusion. "So...what do we do?"

"Yay! Jason likes Yumi!!!" Yumi exclaimed happily because she made Jason laughed. "(Err.......... Yumi......... You're always so happy........ too happy in fact.........)" Lucas thought to himself. Lucas then scratched the back of his head again. "Well, I guess we all want to play F.A.R. one more time huh?" Lucas said jokingly. "Anyways, I have no idea what we should do. Maybe we should go find some other people to find out what they know." Lucas suggested. Yumi then jumped back onto Lucas' shoulder. "Well, what do you think we should do Jason?" Lucas asked curiously.

Jason had a notion, and he wondered if Lucas was willing to follow through. Again, he laughed at Yumi's behavior. Hearing a huff, he turned. "I could behave like that if I so wished it," he said matter-of-factly. Jason nodded.

 

"Yeah yeah, whatever. Anyway..." he turned back to face Lucas. He motioned back to his Mad Cat, which was now behind him. "I was wondering...Well, yeah, we probably should see if there are any other players stuck in the game like us. But...I didn't hack the game just to talk and explore, much as I like exploring." He added that little bit quietly to himself. "I was wondering...would you like to spar?"

"Sparing?" Lucas said curiously. "Well, I haven't been here for that long to figure out what's going on, but if you want to then alright." Lucas replied to Jason's question. "We shouldn't have our A.I.s involve so Yumi." Lucas said. "Yes?" Yumi replied curiously. "I want you to go back into your ball form, okay?" Lucas said as he looked at Yumi. "Alright Lucas!" Yumi answered as she transformed into a bright pink sphere. "Alright, here I go!" Lucas exclaimed as he activated his mech. Lucas' mech appeared, standing adamantly. "This my mech, Blu-Dawn!" Lucas said as he was inside of Blu-Dawn's body. "Well, let's get started." Lucas said confidently.

Jason nodded. "Alright. Zero, if you don't mind..." With a sigh, Zero complied. The cube appeared, then dissipated, leaving his Mad Cat. Jason climbed up, and started it up. He flicked on the comm, opening a channel between him and Lucas. "That's an impressive Mech," he said. "But will you be able to withstand my long range barrage?" Jason gulped a breath. I just hope that I win this. I don't feel like losing right now, and with that...can I stand to lose? "Self-check complete," a robotic voice said. Jason typed a few commands into a small computer. "Weapons charging," he said to himself.

 

"It may help if you let me strategize for you," Zero replied. Jason nodded absently, not listening.

"Your mech is pretty impressive too." Lucas complimented as he gave a friendly yet confident smile. "My mech is build for speed and power (Man, I can't afford to lose right now......... My pride won't allow it.......)! Well Jason, let the best man win!" Lucas exclaimed as he charged up Blu-Dawn's wings. Just then blue florescent wings appeared from Blu-Dawn's back, shining adamantly. "Well I'm all set up (So how should I do this? Maybe a quick test of his speed with my photon missles. Alright then.). So Jason, who will begin?" Lucas asked preparing himself for anything.

Jason grinned. This guy is great. He's an awesome friend; I hope we can still know each other after this...What am I saying? Of course we will. Jason shook his head, a smile still on his face. "If you're alright with it," Jason said, "then I will take the first move." It's a good thing I added those new powerups to my engines and servomotors. From his...boasting's not the right word but...anyway, I think I'll need them. Jason flipped a few switches, and laughed quietly as a small reticle appeared on his cockpit. "Man, this is cool!" he cried out. He pulled on what appeared to be a joystick, and watched the reticle move. He centered it on Lucas's Mech, and watched as it turned red, along with a small beeping noise. "Here it comes," he whispered to himself. He jammed down on the Fire button, and the Mech shuddered as multiple quiet THUMP's rang out. He felt rather than saw the missiles streak into the air, then turned towards Blu-Dawn.

Ian touched down on the ground and saw two people talking. "Hmm... so there are others." He continued to watch as the two talked. They were both male. Suddenly the two of them jumped into what appeared to be mechs and looked as if they were going to fight. "Shall we intervene?" Clause said as he looked at the two. "Na, lets just sit back and watch the show." Ian looked and saw that the two were now in a fighting stance. Ian sat back in his chair and propped his feet upon a metal bar. He punched a few buttons on the holoscreen next to him. The mech's sight began to zoom in. "Oh I'm gonna enjoy this." Clause moved beside Ian. "I hate the wait." "You hate everything but me." Clause looked at him as if he was insulted. He sighed and sat back in the air. A robotic voice boomed through the cockpit. "Recharging via solar panels." Ian squinted. He saw the mechs shoot of. "Finally some action." He put his hands behind his head and watched.

As the missles headed for Blu-Dawn and Lucas, Lucas began to switch control into manual 2 mode. The cockpit transformed from a regular control pannel, into a standing room, where Lucas can be able to control Blu-Dawn with his own body. "Alright! Let's do this!" Lucas exclaimed as he flew up into the air and launched photon missles from his shoulders into the missles below him. The explosion of the impact caused a huge cloud of smoke to cover the area, with Lucas in it. From the smoke came two more photon missles aiming strait for Jason.

Jason watched the Mech launch into the air. Whoo boy that thing is fast. Well, I'll find some way to beat him...I have to. Jason hit a few buttons. "Activate AMS!" he cried. The AMS, or Anti-Missile-System, activated, sending a short beam of energy up at the photon missiles. One detonated immediately, but the other continued coming at him. Jason activated the servos, and Starfire high-tailed it backward. He was just in time, as the missile slammed into the ground where the Mad Cat had stood a second before. "That was close," he said to himself. "You're really fast," he said to Lucas. "Way faster than I thought. But you can't dodge instantaneous energy. Activate Laser Cannon!" He flipped a switch, and hit the fire button. A bright green beam of energy lanced up towards Blu-Dawn.

Ian watched the battle unfold. It was hard to tell who was going to win. They were both equally skilled. "I wonder who the victor will be." He watched as lasers and missiles flew around. He was far enough away so that he probably wouldn't be seen. The blue one seemed to have the upper hand. The other was on the defensive. It fired a laser and the missiles flying toward it detonated. "This is great." Clause constantly watched not even saying a word. Suddenly the one on the ground fired a huge green beam of energy up at the blue mech. If the blue one could dodge he could easily close in for the win. "Fully recharged." The robotic voice said. "Well... I thought that this show would be boring." Clause didn't reply. "Y'know you can be such a bore sometimes." Clause still looked on. His eyes had massive amounts of data scrolling across it. Ian looked and wondered why he chose Clause as his A.I., but that would be apparent soon enough.

The green laser traveled towards the cloud of smoke, and as it reached the cloud, it penertrated through it with ease. However, when the cloud of smoke cleared up, it was shown to have no one there. Blu-Dawn then rushed up behind Mad Cat with extreme speed. Blu-Dawn's right arm had a giant laser blade on it that continued to rotate virgorously. "(Man, that was too close........ If I hadn't decided to rush out of there while Jason was busy destroying my missles, then Blu would've need to go to the mechanic.)" Lucas thought to himself as he wiped the sweat from his forehead. "(No to go for the kill....... Well, not kill but....... Ah! Never mind.......)" Lucas thought to himself as he closed in and pointed his laser sword towards Mad Cat's cockpit.

What the?...

 

"Hey! Hey! Faith! Wake up!!"

 

Said female groaned at the high childlike voice that constantly buzzed around her head. "Su...Sugar?..." Faith mumbled confused as she slowly sat up from her previous horizontal position. She looked around, before settling her eyes on the small fairy looking A.I floating in front of her face.

 

Faith blinked, "Sugar!?! Why are you here?!" Sugar giggled before zipping around her head. "You're in F.A.R. silly." After hearing that Faith looked at herself finally realizing that she was wearing what her player, Cherry, wears. "But how did that happen?" She asked herself, "Last I remember is going over a friends house when he told me he was able to hack into the game...."

 

She looked around again, standing up, "My mind must've been transported into the game..."

 

Sugar giggled again pulling Faith's attention to her, "Right! Right! Right! You're right Faith!" Faith smiled at the energetic A.I. "So i'm going to thro in a wild guess here and say that I also have Shadow here as well?" Sugar nodded, a bit to fast as she became dizzy and fell out of the air into Faith's waiting hands.

 

"Yep! Yep! Just ask me and I'll bring it!" Faith nodded placing sugar on top of her head. "Well, I guess I should go and see if anyone else is in my position as well."

 

"There are! There are! I saw them on my way here!" Faith smiled, and thanked Sugar, before walking in the direction Sugar directed her towards.

They've been running for almost an hour straight, and even Xander's politeness and patience was only finite. Reflect was still going crazy, looking for the nearest person. Actually, the rushing A.I. did see something. "Xander!" Reflect stopped, and Xander did a well, slightly panting. "What is it?" He made a mild, yet honest grin as he faced the same direction as the A.I.. "I seem to have found a young lady with her A.I.. Do you wish to see them?" Reflect explained, as Xander quietly nodded, and walked that direction.

 

A few minutes later, Xander noticed a black haired girl in black clothes. He was only about a foot away from her, when Xander started speaking. He let out his hand in a friendly manner, and smiled. "Hello. My name is Xander. It would be an honor if you would tell me yours." He bowed, still smiling, while his A.I. was searching for hers.

Faith turned half way when she heard someone introduce themselves. When she did her face turned red, at the silver haired male bowing in greeting. She continued to stare until, luckily, Sugar hopped from her head and spoke first.

 

"Hi! Hi! I'm Sugar!" Sugar then turned to me, "Say hi, Faith!"

 

Faith snapped out of her stuper and smiled shyly, "H-hi Faith-I mean...Uh...Hi..I'm Cherry here b-but my name i-is Faith." She looked away, "Call me which ever..."

 

I hate it when I do that! I wish Sana was here, she's better at this kind of stuff. Faith smiled nervously at Xander. "I-if you hadn't heard th-that's Sugar." She muttered still forcing her self not to put her foot in her mouth like she's known for doing when meeting new people.

 

"Xander! Xander! What's your A.I's name?" Sugar asked flying around both Xander and his A.I examining them. Faith blushed, embaressed at what she was doing, "Sugar, stop that!"

"Faith is such a beautiful name..." He smiled at her, standing straight up, again. "There is no need to be shy, Faith. I don't bite, but maybe my A.I. does!" He joked, as his A.I., Reflect, began twirling around Sugar, pondering. "Maybe you're just shy because you're scared. Well, it would be my pleasure to accompany you during these hard times." Taking a few steps to the right, and turning forward, he was standing right besides her. "My name is Reflect. It is a delight to meet the both of you in such a deserted area." Reflect announced, as Xander nodded. "Faith, you may know me by my username, Azrael. I am one of the oldest and more popular members of this game. I am also said to have one of the fastest and skilled mechs ever." He boasted, but was also telling the truth.

"Azreal?" Faith said knowing that name. "...Oh, right! You're the one with the mech Lunar Eclips!" She smiled, then looked down shy again. "I have heard about you."

 

"Yeah! Yeah! Your mech is awesome!"

 

Faith nodded, "We watched one of your fights once. It was pretty cool." She then looked around before stopping on Xander trying not to act shy. "It would be nice to have some company....Other than Sugar." Sugar puffed out her cheeks and placed her small hands on her hips. "Of course your company is always loved." Faith quicly recovered smiling sweetly at Sugar. "If I may ask...How did you end up trapped in F.A.R? Did you hack in as well?"

 

Thankfully her stutter was going away. She never really warmed up to a stranger as fast as she was now, but there was just something about him that made her calm. She hoped they could become friends.

"Thank you very much. Honestly, I never found Lunar Eclipse so powerful...It's definitely fast." He also noticed her stuttering had gone away, giving him a good feeling. "Thankfully, you aren't so nervous, anymore. I never meant any harm. But I do find it very cute when you stutter." He himself blushed a bit, as is A.I., Reflect, left to rest. "I am very experienced with codes and hacks. I changed the code around, and patched the game, meaning my gane is an update behind everybody else, but it still works fine." He smiled and felt joyful as he saw Sugar and Faith together. "You two blend so well. I love it..." Xander began stepping, and waited for her. "Ladies first." He stated, followed up with an honest "I'll stat behind you and keep you safe, so please relax.".

Faith blushed at his comment, but chose not to reply in fear of her stuttering coming back. She smiled, and walked a head of him, with Sugar on her shoulder facing Xander. "I bet my parents are having a fit back home. I hadn't even told them I was leaving. Only my sister knew I was leaving the house." Faith said glancing behind her to see if he was still there. She smiled, and almost tripped but quickly got her footing.

 

"Sana! Sana! Older sister, Sana!"

 

Faith sent Sugar a look because she shouted right in her ear. "Must you be so loud?"

 

Sugar giggled, "Yep! Yep!" She said about to zoom off to who knows where, until Faith grabbed her already used to her hyperactiveness.

 

"Hence why I called her Sugar." Faith directed it towards the male behind her.

After all this, Xander felt much more comfortable with these two, as a smile appeared on his face, and he looked straight at Faith. "Don't fall!" He suggested after noticing she almost fell, running towards her, and lightly holding her left arm, for support. "You have a sister? Interesting indeed. He chuckled at them, making sure he wasn't dreaming. "Is everything well, for you? You know I do have many resource and a lot of food and drinks, considering how long I've been playing. Is there anything milady wishes to have?"

"Yeah, my sister is pretty much the opposite of me. She's the one who does all of the fighting. Sana's kind of the rebble in our family, where as I'm the one who does everything that my parents tell me to do." Faith smiled looking up at Xander, thanking him for steading her. "Well, now that you mention it....I am kind of thirsty." She tilted her head to the side, "Do you have any apple juice? It's our favorite." She smiled as she waited for his reply.
