Burnt in Science :(

Flaring Rose

Today i was in Science doing some IRP stuff. So we got the tripod, retort stand, Bunsen burner and a glass beaker. We heated up some water from the tap til it started to boil. Then the teacher gave us 2 small beakers. We poured half of the water into one beaker and the rest into the other. We had to record the temperature in both beakers. Then we poured cold water into the other beaker. So we recorded the temperature every minute. Then when i was looking at the white board, my friend picked up the hot tripod and acidently burnt a triangle into my arm. It bloody hurt.

Discuss if you had any accidents in a Science lab.

Cool story' date=' bro.

I was messing around one day in my lab, mixing the traits 'likeable', 'awesome', and 'God-like' together in the gene pool. Then [i']bam[/i].

The creation of Morgan Freeman.

I told you to stop winning at life without me, dammit.

OT:

Nothing exciting ever happens when I'm in a Science Lab. >_>

Disgusting fail at an attempt to get replies... Oh wait, it worked. >_> No wonder I stay out of General. Posts like this are more attempts at post whoring than a thread about well... No, even attention seeking threads are better.

Anyway, I laughed a little. You're in science class, messing with somewhat dangerous stuff. Pay attention and you'll be safe.

my old science teacher (got fired) made fire one day. he let us rumage through the drawers finding any chemicals and powders and put it in the fire. one girl found this orange powder thing and flicked some in. it sparkled and she was like O.O/:D and dumped the whole container in the fire. the fire sparkle things flew all over and we got burned

Constantly belittling the General Forums in the General Forums doesn't make the General Forums any better. And I'm not sure if you notice, but most people don't give a damn about what forums you like or dislike. I'm sure I'd get banned if I came to Custom Cards and made fun of it in every other post (y'know, assuming I was posting cards and commenting on cards). But you don't seem to understand that, now do you? And also realize that a General forum doesn't necessarily have a set topic, so whilst one topic could be about Morgan Freeman, and another isn't, one could easily incorporate topics of Thread A into Thread B. It may not be on topic at all, but mistakes happen. And if they are intentional, you can't go around banning people for little mistakes. THAT'S WHY THERE IS A WARNING SYSTEM. [/rant] [/rant] [/rant]

Yes, three "end rant" tags.

Uhh, I guess in Chem class last year two lab partners heated the wrong liquid and it "exploded". So our teacher poured it down the drain and said he needed a raise for cleaning out the drainage systems.

My friend's father once made explosives that he hid around various places of the school. Very harmless when wet, but it explodes easily when dry and is facing friction. Rather fun to place those in the lockers of other students. He placed a small portion of it in a locker of a kid that enjoyed slamming the door of it. Funny to watch spitfire blazing out of the slits when he did.

He was never caught though.

...

Oh, topic? Never burned myself. I usually pay attention and stay focused in science.

That must have hurt a lot, though.
