And about the japanese cards: I don't intend on entering any actual contests, they're fine for me and my friends. Well, the few that actually play.

I'll start with the Japanese: because you didn't know your monster was Ultimate Obedient Fiend, you may have cheated by actually attacking with it while you had spells/traps/other monsters out or cards in your hand. Even in a casual setting, you need to print out the effects.

 

As for the banned stuff:

 

Magician of Faith: Infinite Loops. It would take too long to explain.

Pot of Greed: Card Advantage. If you don't know what that is, look it up.

Monster Reborn: Easy OTKs.

 

Even if you disagree with it, you still must adhere to the Advanced or Traditional banlists.

I'm not good at dealing with begginers. So I gave him my understandings for why they're banned.

I see. Yeah, I used my MoF for infinite loops, those are really stupid, when I could hardly keep ahold of her.

Ah, the cheating. My friends and I reworked that. What we did was, for example, UOF, when I didn't know what it was, we set it up to where in order to summon it, I had to Tribute enough cards to equal level 20, because it was really powerfuly Given I have quite a few level 6's, that wasn't too much of a problem. Ah, those were the good ol days. And as for CCM, he was always deep in my deck for some reason. I never really used him, except on rare occasions. Bue we were all ok with that. In an actual duel, others may not be ok with that.
